We were very satisfied with Samba when we first began using them nearly 7 years ago at our home in Newton. The owners were gracious and conscientious, always asking how the service was and doing a thorough job. Once we stopped using them weekly and moved to bi weekly because of the recession, their quality slipped a bit, but they were still reliable. For the past year, the service has declined significantly. They clean around the edges and take half the time for the same amount of money. We’ve asked for specific attention paid to certain areas and it seems they aren’t interested in doing the same thorough job they did years ago. To top it off, when we called to say we thought we may want to move on to a different company, they responded by saying that it wasn’t working for them either, and that our«clutter» was in their way. Now, if by «clutter», they mean the rug they need to vacuum under, or the coffee machine on the counter they don’t move when they clean, they’re right. Those things get in the way… Bummed out because I thought the owners were really wonderful.
