Marshalls

I generally love Marshalls. I looked at their shoe selection, but per usual, the size I wear is scarce so there were limited options and those shoes that were in my size I didn’t like, so I moved on to the clothes after about 10 minutes.
I couldn’t find a petite section, so shopping in the misses, and found two cute flowy tops and had to choose just one because I also had to buy a pair of knee length pants. Then I looked at all of their housewares and found super cute beach and patriotic themed items all ready for the summer season on sale.

This Marshall’s is ok, although I have been to better ones. This one seems like it’s a hit or miss. Sometimes I come and find everything I want, and other times I come and find nothing. The junior section is terrible, and seems to get worse and worse as time goes on. I love the houseware section however, and this is usually where I come to load up on Puma socks since they are the best priced when it comes to that.
The last time I was here though, the manager (I’m assuming) was training a kid that was obviously brand new at his job. She was a witch! She kept snagging money out of his hand every time he went to count it, kept calling him out about every little thing he was doing wrong, and on top of that berated him in front of us. I was ready to give her a piece of my mind and tell her to lighten the hell up, but I thought best otherwise. If she’s still manager, I probably won’t return as it broke my heart to see how she treated her workers. I would rather go the extra mile and go to TJ Maxx (although obviously the same), just so I don’t need to see that again.

This store gets a 3 star rating. I’ve been coming here for several years. I used to come out with great finds. Lately, it’s been more misses than hits! Marshalls is great for discounted designer quality clothing and shoes. I have been perusing the kitchen items more recently and the perishables. Great coffee, tea and snack selections!
