China Buffet

My wife and I were there on June 6. The food was so so. I had to use the men’s room and was appalled at how dirty it was. It stank and both toilet seats had lots of urine all over them. We will not patronize again.

This is vey clean place! Good food. The other reviews say the food is not hot. I think it depends what time you go. If you go in at 9 pm, of courses there is no hot food since they are about to close at that time!

I gave it one star because zero stars is not possible.
This place is just terrible! Do not go there, ever! I’d rather chew on my own arm to survive!

I’m going to be a little bit more generous than the other reviewers. Because, here are the positives: It was relatively clean and we had excellent service from a very friendly server.
Negatives: The «hot» food was not hot. The beef skewers were room temperature and they were more like greasy beef jerky on a stick. The egg foo yung was inedible. It was cold and nasty. The egg rolls appear to be store-​bought, but they were good, just not hot. The crab rangoons were the best thing I tasted there, but also not hot.
This place will do, but if you want excellent, hot, fresh, Chinese food, you may want to look elsewhere.

I must agree with tha other 3 reviews this place sucks with a Capitol S!!! Service is horrible & food was ice cold, they never changed out the old food & put fresh food on top of that when I complain about the food being cold they said we can microwave it for you. Lmao… Please stay away from this place I don’t know why the city inspector ain’t close this place down or burn it down…

We have had their food 3 times now being new to the area and not knowing of the other Chinese places in town. The first time we had their buffet and it was mediocre at best with bad customer service. The second time We were craving Chinese and stopped in hoping for a better experience. Again we were sadly mistaken. This time was worse then our first visit. We were in during the beginning of the evening thinking we would have fresh food waiting for us. Boy were we wrong!!! The food was very soggy, the gravy was tasteless, The sesame chicken, Orange chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork/​chicken were all hard to chew either over cooked or just dough. Finally last night we ordered for delivery and we will never have their food again! Everything we ordered was overcooked and in very poor condition! When we called to talk to a manager they acted like they didn’t know what was going on and played stupid. I called to talk to the owner today and got the run around with the lady saying they didn’t know who the owner was… If you are reading this be warned this food is AWFUL!!!

Unfortunately I must agree with other review. Tasetless food, don’t eat general tso, really bad.

This is the kind of strip mall chinese that perpetuates the negative stereotype of bad chinese food. Sadly, that’s par for Watertown. The egg rolls came out of the freezer case. The egg foo yong is served with a brown glop. The chicken fried rice has a little chicken in it, some onion, yellow rice and that’s it. It’s priced cheaply, made cheaply, and has no culinary value whatsoever. But it’ll do in a pinch.
