I personally love the pizza here. Also, I’ve tried a few of their specialty wraps, and they’ve all been delicious. It’s definitely a take out or delivery place though, the inside is not too inviting or clean.

At the risk of sounding like a snobby New York transplant, this is not pizza. This is kind of like the pizza from school lunch. Edible, but not real pizza. The sauce is really sweet. Kind of tastes like they mixed with ketchup. I know there is good pizza to be found in Boston, but seems few and far between. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. I miss pizza!

Yuck yuck! Ordered from here because our usual place was closed. BIGHUGEMISTAKE. Very little flavor and didn’t sit well. We got a chicken cutlet and eggplant parm. Neither of us could finish. Never going back.

If it had an option of zero stars that is what they’d get. Went to washroom to clean hands and the door doesn’t close, no soap, nothing to dry off hands and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 30 years. Ordered slices and asked for a refund since there was no way we would eat in a place that was so dirty. The owner/worker told us he can’t refund the order because his machine is broken. Had to call the bank for $ 7! Don’t go there. If you worry about cleanliness and good service, this is not the place to go. Health department will be notified!

The place is dirty, and the owner, while pleasant with me, was screaming at his staff which was uncomfortable as I was the only customer in there. I got a to-go order of haddock and a salad and the haddock was inedible and the cesear salad was iceberg lettuce, grated mozzarella and three croutons, also the dressing was slimy. I had asked for extra tartar sauce and even doubled checked that they had heard me/put it in the bag. Yes, yes, the guy said. Got home, opened bag and no tartar sauce, only ketchup. It’s been a week, my car still reeks of the rotten fish smell.

This restaurant was highly unsanitary. The workers in the back didn’t wear gloves and the walls were covered in dust. I don’t recommend

Chicken tenders are a 4⁄10. Fries are so soggy they’re like half water. 3⁄10. Service and people are great, this order of food just wasn’t.

Place is dirty and the food is below average better of going to any other pizza shop.

My go-to local pizza place. Wonderful family-run staff and great pizza. Try the Texas bbq or chicken bacon ranch for something different.

Do not order from this place. New owner we ordered food and it took them almost 2 hours to deliver. When I called to check on order owner was rude and would not let me talk. Owner showed up with food looking for a fight. He made a scene and would not leave. We had to involve the police. The entire thing was crazy.

We have gotten pizza here a bunch of times, and every single time it’s been excellent. Tonight’s Melanzana pizza was so good it prompted me to finally review this place. Out of all of the nearby pizza places, this one tops our list.

This is your average mom and pop Greek pizza shop. Nothing fancy. I’ve had their steak & cheese and chicken parm subs and they were all delicious. The owners are very friendly. They also accept credit cards. My gripes: it’s dirty. The menu board needs updating as some parts are simply covered with duct tapes. There are couches but I’d rather stand. The counter tops, chairs, and tables all feel greasy. And the cook doesn’t wear gloves. Kinda grosses me out. So if you’re in the mood for a greasy and delicious sub/pizza and doesn’t care about cleanliness, then definitely give it a try. I’ll most likely order from them again in the future as long as I don’t watch how they make my food. Ignorance is bliss after all…

A great place if you need some decent food, that’s cheap and is made by nice people. It’s clearly a down to earth establishment that knows it’s clientele. You will never be disappointed when going to Athens.

My go to for local, hearty, ‘Greek-style’ pizza. Try the Athens – the grilled chicken on it is amazing.

This is good classic Greek pizza. Although my top choice is usually New Haven style pizza, we were looking for some Greek style pizza(best hangover cure ever). It’s thin in the middle with a thick crispy crust, the sauce is great, and there is plenty of cheese. It’s greasy deliciousness, and I’m so happy they delivered to Brighton. Prices are very reasonable as well, and the delivery was prompt. I will definitely order again.

Stopped here for a slice after taking the bus from downtown Boston. The interior is very strange — you walk in and feel like you’re in somebody’s living room, because there are dingy sofas on the left hand side, kind of a loungey area you’d expect from a coffee shop. I just got one slice of cheese pizza. The lady behind the counter assured me it was freshly made and was still hot, which was true. I appreciated not having to wait for my slice to reheat. I added my usual garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and parmesan. No hot sauce to be found. The slice wasn’t bad, though nothing tasted particularly fresh or homemade. I’m pretty sure the sauce was pre-made, and the cheese wasn’t that great. There was also far too much crust, but it was basically the typical Greek-style pizza crust-sauce-cheese ratio. I like my pizzas super saucey with a thinner, crisper crust. The crust also didn’t have too much flavor — no salt, garlic, cheese, or anything else. Next time I’ll probably try one of the other pizza shops along Galen St.

This is our«go-to» pizza place when we want affordable pizza, subs and salads. Highly recommend the steak tip platter with rice and my personal favorite the greek chicken wrap(which I always get on pita bread, no problem with substitutions.) A friendly, family style atmosphere, and fast delivery(even on weekends.) So happy to have this place in the neighborhood.

This place gave me food poisoning!!! For two days I was stuck in the toilet puking(and more) after eating the lamb gyro. Terrible! Same thing happened previously to a co-worker of mine! I should have seen it coming… By looking at the kitchen I saw that they do not pay any attention to health concerns. The cook handles money without gloves and goes straight to her stove afterwards. Disgusting!!! Stay away! Hope the health inspectors come and close this place!

Amazing pizza. Delicious cheesey fresh calzones. Amazing greek salad with the most magical house dressing you can imagine! A great place to stop in for lunch! The service is always friendly and food is made fresh when you order it.(Call ahead if you are in a rush). The salads can get a little pricey but they are totally worth it!
