I’ve been eating Arsenal Pizza for about 10 years and sure, it’s not the greatest pizza in the world, but it’s probably my favorite, daily driver, pizza. Their steak subs are pretty good too, but the pizza is the real star. It’s always ready in «15 Minutes».

This little pizza place is located just off of Arsenal Street in Watertown, the food here is always made fresh and the service is over the counter(no table service) the décor is just okay, great place to get take out, no delivery however.

I would categorize their ingredients as decidedly low quality. The cheese was kind of like white American cheese – not the best; the sauce was kind of watery – also not what I would expect from a place that has«pizza» in their name. I ordered the«Arsenal Special» pizza, it was edible, but I would never eat it again. Maybe I should have gone with a sandwich, because it seemed like most people were going that route. On the plus side: their cashier was very friendly and their restroom was clean, if not for these two facts, it would have been a «lone star» review here!

Yeha, this place has the standard greek pizzas, decent size subs, just not quite ready to be a fave … my go to when i dont want to get in my car and drive an extra block for pizza

Laarv’s companion eats here sometimes for lunch. He describes Arsenal Pizza as merely«ok», nothing special. The pizza is your basic Greek slice but Arsenal does offer a nice deal for 2 slices and a soda for under $ 5. When he craves a slice and doesn’t want to drive anywhere he will eat at Arsenal.

I eat here several times a week for lunch. Its the best option for lunch in the area. Things to try: 1) Italien Sub w/Everything, Toasted 2) Steak and Cheese w/Mushrooms, Toasted 3) 2 Slices of Pepperoni Pizza + Soda = ~$ 5.50

Food = 5 of 5 Service = 4 of 5 Décor = 3 of 5 After seeing those scores, some of you might wonder how I gave this place a 5 of 5. The answer is that there are places that charge a ton of money for a small pizza, and so what you end up paying for is the décor and the service. Arsenal Pizza is what it is: a local pizza parlor which focuses on the food. Is the lady who runs the place charismatic? Not by a long shot. Is this a place that you would take someone to on a first date? No way. But if you are with someone who savors the taste of good food(as opposed to savoring large quantities of food), then Arsenal Pizza is the right place to go. I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was great. The ham and the pineapples tasted delicious, the cheese was not oily, and the crust was crispy enough to crunch, but easy to chew. When I first saw the reviews for this place, I was a bit skeptical. But the other reviewers who gave it 4 or 5 stars are correct. This place is as good as advertised.

Great pizza and sub shop! The calzones and pasta is amazing! Everything is reasonably priced and very quickly put together for you. I’m going with 5 stars because the owner is the friendliest merchant in town and really goes the extra mile to make you feel special and deliver what you want!

Just your good olé neighborhood pizza place here. Great calzones, love that artichokes are a topping choice. Hamburger w/french fries is a good deal around 5 bucks, but could afford to be cooked a lil less well done.(unless that’s what you like) Been here twice and happy both times.

I love the veggie burger here. The place is awesome, clean and is open till a decent time on weekdays too. The owners are extremely friendly. I surely recommend this place. Good bang for the buck.

This is my stand-by for good pizza. Best sausage, pepperoni, and jalapeño pizza that I’ve found in the Watertown area(outside of the one that I make myself of course). The woman who usually works here is really nice and the pizza is always ready in less than 15 minutes.

Great pizza and sub shop! The calzones are excellent as well as any of their subs. What I also like is that everything is reasonably priced. I’m going with 5 stars because the owner works his ass off and is a really good guy. If you work in the area, go here instead of Panera or the ghetto Arsenal Mall food court.

I had the cheese pizza which fondly reminded me of elementary school lunch. If the 2 slices made the shape of a rectangle I would’ve given 4 stars. Must try more. I was happy at lunch today.

This is my go-to place for lunch. I have gotten everything from pizza to salads to subs, and it is all good! The pizza is made from scratch, the cold-cuts always fresh, and the salad always crisp. They also have your typical side orders(chicken fingers, buffalo fingers, fries, onion rings etc). And, the owner is always there to take your order and is very very friendly which goes a long way for me. I usually order ahead so it is ready when I get there. Which brings me to my last point… The reasons I’m giving it four stars is because orders can take awhile if you order in person, especially around the 11:30 to 1:00 lunch window, and there is a 50 cent charge for credit or debit. I definitely recommend this place!

ahh, thank god this place exists. there’s no better escape from panera, which embodies everything i hate all at once, than a local pizza/sub shop. friendly service, good food, and great prices. i had an big eggplant parm grinder for less than $ 6, and contemplated the 2 cheese slices + bottle of soda deal for just under $ 5. they’ve also got apps, salads, and pastas. but i think the real treats have gotta be their pizzas and calzones. once i saw them come out of the oven i knew i would have to come back to try both(luckily, i work very close by). the pizza looked to be deep dish(my fave!) and average about $ 7 — a steal! plus, there are lots of veggie options, including artichokes :) one of my coworkers referred to this place as a dime-a-dozen, but imho, classic favorites gotta be good to get to be classics in the first place!

I counted: Ten slices of pepperoni on one regular-sized slice of pizza. You’re lucky if you get five from most places. Arsenal Pizza in Watertown puts most of the pizza joints in Allston-Brighton to shame. It’s just up the street and around the corner from the Watertown Mall, the Arsenal Mall, and the Watertown Arsenal complex. Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood and want something a bit more authentic than Panera or Friendly’s. I’d drive there regularly if I owned a car and gas weren’t over four bucks a gallon.

Basic, consistent Greek deli situation. Can’t go wrong for subs at lunch.
