Sunset Beach Community 4th of July Fireworks Display

For a local, non-​municipality controlled fireworks display, I can’t imagine anything better.
Sunset Beach is a collection of cottages on Lake Ontario that is most densely populated for the 4^th of July weekend. Many of the cottages are only good in the summer months, meaning mid-​June to mid-​August. It may not be much to look at, but they’ve got a couple of folks who know how to put on a fireworks show.
They must spend thousands of dollars on fireworks, with their selection of color and explosion that lasts for at least an hour each year. There are a few of the paper lanterns/​luminaries that float off into the lake. Not to mention the canon that fires every 5 – 15 minutes. No need to drive to Lyndonville and fight the traffic — just pull up a chair to your beach side bonfire and watch the colors reflect in the lake.
