I love their breakfast sandwiches and the service is great.

Great food. Great service. The specials always surprise me and I’ve never been let down. As a family, we prefer somewhere in time(their sister restaurant. Same owners). My only complaint… they need to permanent add banana bread French toast to the menu like SIT! It’s amazing!

Unilocal was wrong on this one — no idea why so many positive reviews. This place is very busy– be prepared to wait for a table. Bring your own cleaning supplies since they don’t wipe down the tables unless you ask. Coffee and tea is self service. This is a greasy spoon diner that offers huge portions. Prices are high for the area. No interest in returning.

I was in the area and found this place on Unilocal… was feeling like breakfast and decided to check it out. Great little place with a cute atmosphere. We decided to sit outside. Bottomless cup self serve coffee with a free cup to go when your done. They had a few flavor options which was nice. The breakfast menu was a little different than most places with many options being Mexican inspired… which is what sold me. Breakfast and Mexican food. two of my faves wrapped in one. I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla which had scrambled eggs with bacon, cheddar and avocado on a spinach wrap with sour cream and salsa on the side. The thing was HUGE and delicious to the last bite. My bf got the Huevos Rancheros which had scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa with a spicy sauce and a ton black beans and jalapeños on a flatbread. We both got a side of home fries which were delish though I was slightly disappointed I didnt get to try the sweet potato home fries that another reviewer mentioned, which are not on the menu, but the waiter kindly told me they were out of for the day. I am so glad I found this cute little place… thanks Unilocalers! I will definitely be coming back here!

This is the second time my husband and I have frequented this restaurant. The food is always made fresh. We have ordered the city, garden scramble, steak and eggs, pancakes, and french toast. Everything has been good. The only exception are the home fries, which are rather dry. Will continue to frequent this restaurant for brunch.

Been traveling to this general area of Connecticut for family events for nearly 10 years now and never heard of this place, which is really unfortunate, as it is an incredible find. Great service, delicious food, good coffee — what more could you want from a breakfast place? The menu has the usual suspects, but also has some really unique options for omelets and skillets, as well as indulgent specials. Was our first visit, but certainly not our last.

Good food and great service. Very nice atmosphere. I had the Portuguese omelette and it was very good. Definitely recommend this place. Check it out.

I love this place! It’s got a cool old-school vibe to it, colorful walls, a fun coffee corner with 4 different kinds of coffee to drink(unlimited). My husband got the sausage and gravy breakfast with sourdough toast, which he loved. I got their veggie omelette which was awesome, especially since they had a side of hot sauce I can use. My sister got a unique pancake with sausage and cheese which she also enjoyed. This is certainly a fun place that I totally recommend people to check out when in the area!

I love the self serve coffee and tea bar. The food has always been yummy! Definitely a good bang for your buck serving. The coffee and tea is bottomless and they allow you to take one to go! If you like this place they also have a sister restaurant called Somewhere In Time in Mystic.

Great breakfast and excellent service. The sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked, bacon was crispy, and steak was marinated and cooked wonderfully! Their linguicia omelette and home fries was also great! They do self service in a variety of flavors and have to-go cups at no extra charge. I would definitely come back!

Probably the best place I’ve EVER been for breakfast! Great portions, reasonable prices, well seasoned food, amazing sausage! I will be going back. Yes, bring cash! They even have gluten free white bread and English muffins. I can say the English muffins were AMAZING! Next time I’ll use that for Bisquits and gravy!

The food was ok, I was a little disappointed in it but everyone else with me seemed to like it. The atmosphere was great and the coffee was good too. You can find a better breakfast spot, but you also could do a lot worse. Its a very average to above average place. Overall, the food is the most important part and it was just ok to me.

My favorite part of breakfast here was the bottomless coffee cup with a variety of coffees to try. I enjoyed the pumpkin spice and the decaf chocolate raspberry. The breakfast monte was a good choice for breakfast as well. Bacon, Ham, cheese and egg sandwiched between two slices of french toast. It may seem like too much but the fillings were modest in size so the sandwich as just perfect. It was served with some delicious home fries and we also tried the sweet potato home fries which were really good. The only thing that was not a hit was the cold mocha which fell a little flat. The café is so cute and quaint though, I would definitely stop in again while in town.

Coffee is always hot, the service is pleasant, and the food is delicious. Krissy was our waitress and she was fast and attentive. Support local and come here before anywhere else.

The food was okay but the service sucked. Problem 1-The sign outside says«see hostess inside.» There was no hostess nor did anyone greet us or anything. We finally grabbed a passing person with menus and were told to pick a seat. Problem 2-the food isn’t that great. The quesadilla was dry and the fruit was no at all fresh. Problem 3– we saw no signs indicating that they are cash only. When a server came over to hand us a to-go-box indicating it was time for us to leave I tried handing her our check and my card. She was very curt in telling me to go use the atm then walked off before I could hand her cash. Apparently there is a cash register hidden around a corner by the coffee and that’s how you’re supposed to pay. This place has no organization, courtesy or cooking ability. i won’t go back unless they have a «free meals» day and even ten I might go to McDonald’s.

Stopped here for the first time on our way home to Milford from Mohegan Sun. What a great discovery! The huevos rancheros is out of this world — could not put the fork down. Boyfriend had the sampler which he said was pretty good as well. It was rather crowded on Sunday morning which we figured it would be so we called ahead and were promptly seated upon arrival(they do not take reservations but add you to a list to decrease wait time). Service was excellent considering how busy it was. Would definitely return if in the area again. P. S. There is a self serve coffee bar available if you have to wait for a table ;)

This place was A-OK. I have to say that i was absolutely charmed by the décor and the menus. Hats off to the artist graphic designer/owner that did the menus and logo and decorated the place. It was definitely on the kitschy, cool side. I felt completely cool and comfy. They have a free coffee bar which is great for placating people while they are waiting for a table. What a great idea! I’ve had better, but the food was okay and nice and hot(just the way I like it). My son LOVED his french toast and sausage. I enjoyed my fried eggs and crispy hash. My hubby’s meal was a little messed up, but they fixed it immediately. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends looking for somewhere different to go on the weekend for breakfast.
