This place is GOOD! I always get the triple threat & mozzarella stick sandwiches. Pricey but worth it in my opinion due to taste and serving portion. Something to note, there are 2 locations, my review is on the bakery not the restaurant.

This new little gem is a great addition to Waterford. The sandwiches are incredibly large and filling and they have such a great variety of «grilled cheeses» available. We’ve only been here once so far and it was bumpin’ on a Sunday afternoon. My MIL ordered the Cuban which has to be the biggest sandwich I’ve seen ever. It could easily feed two people. Their Monte Cristo is also delicious and comes smothered in maple syrup, pecans, and dried cranberries. I had one of the fig and prosciutto concoctions with arugula and I think honey — and it was divine. It put me in the mood for grilled cheese all week. A definite place to stop by if you’re in the area. I predict they will be slammed during the summer.

Staff is amazing and kind. I asked if they offered a military discount which they don’t but the cashier bought me a lemon cookie from his own pocket! The food is delicious. The only complaint I would have is it is slightly over priced if you’re looking to get filled up.

This place is awesome! The philly cheesesteak grilled cheese is my go to sandwich. The menu is not too big (in a good way) the service is friendly, the food arrives quickly and tastes fantastic. Finish eating and check out the bakery items. Out of the way in the Benny’s shopping plaza this place will not be a secret for long.

I was in the area, and I asked a local business where I could find a really yummy lunch. Without hesitation they told me about NV. They whipped out the menu from under their counter!
I was only a few miles away, so I swung by. Wow!!! I am now convinced that I never really ate a grilled cheese sandwich before. Certainly nothing was like this. Their selection was outstanding. I had the fig and brie and ricotta grilled cheese. I almost fainted– it was that good!
I didn’t expect a little serving of tomato soup to be included, but it was outstanding! YUM!
I am in the area for work and can hardly wait to get back there. I live an hour away, but have already told my husband that I need to take him there. It is worth the trip! We are going together next week while off for the holidays. Can’t wait!

The coffee here is delicious. We got a blt savory crêpe, a sweet berry crêpe, and a turkey cheddar sandwich to share. All three were delicious. This is a definite go to spot for breakfast or lunch… or dinner. Or just snacks. Everything here was amazing

I love this place. I have never had a bad experience here, the food is always tasty & the service is always excellent. You can never go wrong with the basic grilled cheese but my favorites are the spicy chicken melt or the Monte Cristo… followed by a bakery item of course.

Quinoa southwest salad and a apple, cinnamon & date smoothie. Great after workout meal. Very friendly staff. Bought yummy beautiful pastries to take home. Clean, modern & pretty inside. I’ll come back for breakfast sandwiches next time. Definitely a good experience

I feel like I can’t go wrong ordering anything here! The staff is amazing and the menu is even better!

All I can say is, it’s about time something like this came to this area! What a great addition to the café scene in southeastern CT.
Took my 12 yr old son (who is a picky-​eater) here this evening. First time visit for us both. Thought we’d just get some sweets to take home. Well, he had a grilled cheese (the great American, the all American? Not sure exactly what it’s called…) & also ordered the s’mores crêpe, while I ordered the spinach pie crêpe. He postponed finishing the sandwich (ate a little over half) so he could take a stab at the dessert (ate about half of that as well). He said both were delicious & he would order them again. His sandwich came w/​a little shooter of tomato soup, but he’s not a soup-​eatin kinda kid so I tried it; it was very good, & I don’t really like tomato soup! I would’ve probably finished the soup but my crêpe was so terrific, I couldn’t stop eating it! There was cheese inside the crêpe, then it had spinach, sun dried tomatoes & feta on top of it. It was tangy and creamy and gooey all at the same time. In the few bites that I had where I didn’t scoop up a bunch of the spinach & feta, you could taste how good the crêpe was on its own. Cleaned my plate. Definitely want to go back and try other things (maybe some sweet crepes). And bring friends & family to share the scrumptious goodness!

Finally… perfect salads to go. Huge variety, fresh ingredients, generous portion all packed in the best to take out bowl ever. I had the pear and Gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken, spinach, glazed walnuts and tomatoes. Do not get the bread if you are trying not to eat carbs because it is fresh and way too good not to eat. My co worker for the smoked salmon salad with perfectly ripe avocado… she loved it. Also, the man who answered the phone was so polite and helpful. Seems a rarity these days. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches! These are not your typical grilled cheese. I ordered the «Granny», with granny smith apples. It came with a drizzle of very high quality balsamic vinaigrette on the crusty bread. It was a very attractive looking sandwich, but I would have preferred the balsamic drizzle on the inside, as it became a bit messy. My daughter had the pear and prosciutto grilled cheese, which I helped myself to – delicious! Each came with a «shooter» of tomato soup. I’d order the soup itself, as it was very good. A downside is that the fruit in each sandwich was canned. I preferred it, but my daughter felt the taste of a nice tart granny smith would have gone better with the cheese. You should be aware that the prices for the grilled cheeses are not posted. I’m hoping that the management figures out a better system for clearing your table, as you just pile your dirty dishes, utensils and paper goods into one open container. Don’t let that put you off, however. This place is new and there are a few kinks to work out. I’d definitely return. There are crepes and smoothies and I saw some luscious baklava in the bakery case.

This was my first time here and it was delicious! My daughter had a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant which was yummy. I had a spinach pie crêpe that was very yummy too. We also enjoyed a pumpkin smoothie and an Immunity juice. The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is there wasn’t a place to change my baby. Oher than that I recommend this place!

beautiful new space. have been several times. the wait has been pretty long each time (25 minutes for a smoothie) but the place is cute and will hopefully get better with time.
nice selection of sandwiches, smoothies, and crepes. wish they had a salad menu as well. haven’t tried any baked goods yet but planning on it soon.

What a beautiful place! Stainless steel walls, painted concrete floors, dark wood tables, both high & low seating. Menu is an adventure to discover. I tried the special — grilled mac n cheese with applewood smoked bacon & a lovely tomato soup came with it.
Then we visited the market (an olive bar!!!) and the bakery! Exceptional latte, excellent service, really nice people!
Can’t wait to go on a snowy day then sit outside when spring comes around.

So excited to have this bakery and café in Waterford, CT! I’m a huge fan of crepes and this restaurant did not disappoint! We tried the Ham and Brie crêpe and the Mozzarella Stick Grilled Cheese to start. Both were excellent — very fresh and full of flavor. The grilled cheese was served with a small cup of tomato soup which was also quite delicious (I would definitely order that by itself). The Ham and Brie crêpe was filled with triple cream Brie and then piled high with sliced serano ham and fresh spinach topped off with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. For dessert we had the Classic crêpe and the Nutella crêpe. The Classic was filled with amazing lemon curd and finished with sweet butter, powdered sugar and honey. Yum! My daughter had the Berry crêpe filled with creamy Greek yogurt and topped with fresh berries, raspberry sauce and honey a few nights ago and loved it.
They also make a variety of green and fruit smoothies, fresh juices and the market is amazing! I will be back here frequently.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The staff was all super friendly and ready to help. They kept checking in to make sure everything was going ok, and in a genuine manner, rather than as a requirement. The food was incredible! One of my aunts and I had the mozzarella stick grilled cheese. Highly recommended! It was very fresh and full of flavor and cheesy goodness. My other aunt had the yogurt parfait with granola and was very satisfied with the portion size as well as the taste! Again, every thing was very fresh and organic! We are still raving a few hours later! Definitely check this place out!
