I’m surprised at the Unilocal reviews on Kotz. As a contractor I was less than impressed with their service. If you call them out make them tell you the costs upfront. They will charge you $ 180 dollars for a $ 20 part, and $ 220 for a $ 40 part, and then give you a $ 20 discount like they are doing you a favor…
Had to teach the tech how a boiler worked and the work they did lasted just over the one year warranty.
I would give anyone else a chance but them.

I’ve had several people come out to my home for maintenance and for one issue with my system. Kotz is always professional, helpful and doesn’t pressure me into things I don’t want or need. The 2x a year maintenance system gives me the reassurance my system is being well maintained and not risking some kind of disaster at the worst time. Chris was my tech today, very cool guy, was quiet while my house slept and made sure the house stayed warm.

I can’t say enough great things about Kotz Heating & Air. From the sales process, to installation, to service, this team is top notch. This year I’ve had Matt out twice; once for servicing my A/​C in the spring, and today for servicing my furnace. He is friendly, personable, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Not only am I comfortable having him in my home, but I also trust that he’s doing great work. Matt always takes the time to show me what he’s doing and explain why it’s important. The more I know about the importance of preventative maintenance for my furnace, the more likely I am to make sure it happens; overall, that’s helping me protect my investment. I highly recommend Kotz!

Matt was very professional and thorough. He called 15 minutes prior to arriving (on time!) and explained everything he was doing and what his findings were along the way. Michael was very efficient in finding the problem and taking care of it. Super friendly and professional. I would definitely not think twice in calling Kotz for future repairs. He explained my options and told us why our air conditioner was doing what it was. Very knowledgeable man.
