Chili’s

Dinner was ice cold. They offered to remake it but I had already waited 30 minutes for it so had them nuke it. They were also out of broccoli so I asked for another vegetable which they then upcharged me for the asparagus. $ 50 for two people for cold sub par food.

I’ve eaten here plenty of times but after tonight I will not be going back. I hadn’t eaten all day and I went around four and ate a steak fajita since then I’ve been feeling awful. I know it was the food BC I’m ready to throw up. never going again it made me sick to my stomach. literally !!

This is your standard chilis. The service at the bar was good, very attentive however I am giving it two stars because the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. It smelled as though they hadn’t been cleaned in two years and I actually felt like I was entering a subway in NYC every time I went in there. It smelled just like that. Courtney the bartender was great though!

Good service, terrible food. Every time I go they make the pasta with barely any sauce, so you’re just eating dry pasta. Texas cheese fries have one spot where they fit the description of Texas cheese fries. The rest is just plain fries. Asked for medium on my steak, and more than three times the inside was deep red. I tell myself every time I go there that the food would be better, but time and time again I am disappointed. Chilis used to be a favorite, but now I chose not to go to the one in Waterbury anymore.

I didn’t enjoy myself much! for 5 ppl over 100 dollars !! That’s crazeee for a cheesy place such as here ! We waited 30 minutes for a table on Valentines day! Calling ahead doesn’t mean much u still have to wait. as if u never called just like walking in !! They give u an average amount of food. For An over average price. The sizzling fajitas sizzle in ur face so watch out !? The foods taste is decent I just wish it was more. The towers that accompany the fajitas have a variety of condiments (VERY little) so maybe fajita one won’t have sour cream and fajita 3 won’t have tomatoes like #2 did but I asked for extra towers and we were all given additional towers so that was good! I also mentioned my bf birthday and they came out singing accompanied by a free ice cream!
They now have a new machine on the table where u can pay for ur food via credit card only. –and view ur receipt, also order dessert BUY and play video games @ 1.99 like bejeweled or read the free version of USA today! If u hit the button to play u have been charged the additional 1.99, on ur check (per game) so don’t let the kids touch this u may not even realize the charge up! 2 weak stars & 5 stars for the server she was fab! I think her name was Candace. But for me it’s about the food !!

Consistency is a problem at this place. It’s a hit or miss… Mostly a miss.
I was just there this past week to use up some soon to be expired holiday cards I received and ended up ordering the same thing two days in a row. Day 1: ordered a «Margarita Chicken Fresh Tex Bowl» and it was pretty good. Next day, I figured why ruin a good thing, will order the same thing again… not as good. Not even the same. I was given a «mixed greens lettuce» in the bow day 1 and «iceberg lettuce» day two. Also portion was different. Day 1, lots of chicken, Day 2 lots of rice. Very disappointing.
Only thing that brings me back lately: My daughter loves the chips and salsa there and they have a wonderful hostess who is very pleasant.

A greeter was non-​existent (or even a staff to help out) and then a server took WAY long to get to a table in the bar for lunch.
Once we got that out of the way, the food was just ok. I’ve had better Chilis. You can do better too.

I could go into a long, witty rant about how badly this place blows. I could tell you my burger was complete garbage topped with brown guacamole (not a euphemism– it was actually topped with brown guacamole). I could tell you that we sat for an eternity before a server even noticed we were there. I could even go into detail about all the pee on the men’s room floor.
So much pee.
Dear god why is there so much pee???
But look, at the end of the day you can get a good glimpse of a T-​bone by sticking your head up a bull’s ass… so why take the butcher’s word for it? Go and experience it for yourself.

It’s a Chili’s. What can I say?
Bottomless chips and salsa were plentiful but too greasy.
The chipotle chicken flatbread had congealed cheese on top was and wasn’t quite edible. The chipotle chicken fiesta bowl was filling — probably the best thing on the table.
The ziosk feature, where you can order dessert and drink refills and play tablet games, is kind of unique. But it’s also a bit of a distraction.
Also, the faucets in the women’s bathroom have very minimal water coming out of them.
This place can get so incredibly busy at 6pm on a Saturday.

I’m writing this review after just leaving. After arriving we were told there was a ten minute wait. Fine. We told the hostess we would be waiting at the bar. 40 minutes later we still did not have a table. When asked, the hostess said «oh I thought you were just going to order food at the bar.» So she put us back on the list for a table (the whole time we still had the buzzer). A random worker (looked like she worked in back possibly) came to seat us from the bar. Our buzzer never went off. We ordered drinks, apps and entrees. App came out in ten minutes (though tasty, it was quite meager). One hour and ten minutes later we still hadn’t gotten out entrée. We walked out.

Spot on about the restrooms, gross! Came here for cinco de mayo, ordered a corona and a shot of tequila. «Sorry we don’t sell shots». My fiancé got a margarita that had more salt than tequila. Went up the road to The Shamrock, screw cinco de mayo!

I come here sometimes with the other interns during our lunch hour.
We love the lunch combos on the back of the menu because the portions are perfect, plus they are cheap! (Great for us interns, lol!) Service has been very friendly, though sometimes they are a bit slow getting the check. They are really great about separating checks and making sure you get the right check.
I usually get the BLT sandwich lunch combo with the salad. I am not a big fan of southwest soups, but one of the other interns always get the tortilla soup and loves it. We always get an order of chips with bean dip to split. I love that the chips are made fresh, and are lightly crisp. The bean dip is very good.
The décor of the restaurant has been nicely updated, but just wished that there was a bit more lighting. I have never been there for dinner, but it’s good to sit back, relax and eat during lunch hour.

Have not been in since they redid the place. Looks great from the highway.
Didn’t care for their Margaritas at all, but their burgers and onion rings are elite. Deserts are great as well.
Parking is not the greatest, especially late night weekends, but there is plenty of it.
Staff is very friendly.
Prices are average for the type of restaurant it is and the fact that it is right off the highway. I usually spend around $ 10 plus tip. Drinks bring that total to $ 20.
Easy to find and easily able to hop on and off the highway. Definitely one of the better chain restaurants in the Waterbury area.

I’ve been to a lot of the chillis in ct and this ones is always the best the food is good and the staff is very friendly I’m always satisfied after leaving I def recommend this place if your in Waterbury

I only really eat at «chain» restaurants if I can’t think of anywhere else to go. This Chili’s is nice, but I’ve been to nicer. Like somebody said before, its SUPER loud in there. And almost anything you order, is unhealthy. I looked up the calories for their salads one day (almost 900 calories for a salad?) I don’t truly get how these numbers are possible, but if your on a diet, go somewhere else. I never have had a «bad» experience here, but the last time my boyfriend and I came here, the waitress was almost pushing food onto us and she just kept talking and talking about food I didn’t want. I finally had to cut her off and just order because I felt like she wasn’t going to stop. They do push the whole margarita thing on you, but I’m not a huge drinker so it doesn’t bother me. The only thing I wish Chilis as a whole offered was more pasta dishes. They literally have one, and it’s not that great. If you need a quick bite, it’s definitely worth the stop but I will agree that the bathrooms are about as clean as a sewer drain.

Usually I’m satisfied with my experience at this Chilis but they’ve proved today that they can’t handle a crowd more than 2. My family of 6 had a sucky experience. Most of the group ordered burgers and one a steak. The steak was raw despite the fact that it was sent back to be re-​cooked and all the burgers were pink when noone ordered theirs cooked rare. I got quesadillas and they were fine but the rest of the crowd was displeased.

Are you seriously Unilocaling a Chilli’s? It’s a Chilli’s! Is it busy on a Saturday night? Probably. Will it give you heartburn? Most likely. Is half your food microwaved. No 49 percent (look it up) Are the drinks tasty and lacking enough alcohol. Yes. BUT THEY HAVE FRIED STEAK ! And your aunt gave you a gift card for Christmas and TGI Fridays gives you food poisoning.

In the past couple of months I have been here twice. The first time was with a large group of people after church on Sunday. There was about 20 of us, ranging in age from 18 – 29. The restaurant was not that busy, it took an hour to get drinks and our orders taken. At that point I talked to the manager and politely explained the situation. He was kind enough to give us 50% off our bill. The whole lunch experience took 4 hours and the food wasn’t that great. After this experience I didn’t think I would be back but I figured I would give it another try. So I went on an afternoon with my boyfriend and ordered the ribs. This time the whole experience didn’t take long, approx and hour. But the ribs were really dry. Also, I ordered a mango drink and it didn’t taste like mango, it tasted like mint. When the waitress asked how everything was in the middle of our dinning experience, I said, «I don’t really like this drink, I’m sorry.» She said «OK, do you want something else?» and I said, «I’ll just stick to my water, thanks though.» She almost took it personal that I didn’t like the drink and was very rude and impersonal the rest of the time we were there. After these two visits, I will not return to this Chili’s location anymore.
