I came here to get my hair curled with an iron. I didn’t get it washed or cut. And they charged me $ 35!!! Are you kidding me?!? That’s disgusting. Penny crunchers! Never recommending them!

Terrible! I just got my hair curled for $ 25 it was literally glued to my head and looked nothing like the picture I showed her! Then, I asked if she colors hair and she replied, «no, I don’t do that» seriously think they’re unlicensed hairdressers, there were no licenses shown at their station which is a law in CT! Never going here again nor do I recommend it!

I always come here to get my hair deep conditioned, and straightened very nicely whenever I get frustrated with doing my own hair. Sometimes I get trims. The stylist I always go to is Silvia! She is amazing, I personally don’t ever color my hair or anything crazy, so I wouldn’t know about the experiences others have had. I’m giving it 5 stars based on my personal experience and my hair always gets done in an hour and a half, when I usually do it, it takes 3, so it’s great if I’m in a rush. I would like to say I’m a regular, but I’m a college student so I can’t always spend $ 60 every month on my hair. But I get good service, and Silvia is awesome.

They have one or two people who actually know how to cut hair but the rest of them are amateurs. Also, the management does NOTCARE if you are unhappy with your cut or color. He is very rude. We, our family, has decided never to go here again.

Haircut depends on who you get. Some people are pro and some have no business cutting hair. I mostly go here for the convenience of not having to wait in a queue. Try to find a good one and remember their name.

I have two sons — 9 and 3 yrs old, I often take them to see Alan. Their hair is unique in a lot of ways and requires skill and patience to cut — Alan has both, but lacks the personal touch. Personal touch is not as important as the end result though, so we go are regulars. There are other barbers there that aren’t nearly as good and have often cut skin on the hairline of my very still and obedient 9 yr old — so we don’t sit in the chair of anyone else but Alan. Prices are a little high for a boys haircut, and you pay upwards of $ 15 not including tip for a taper — but there is not much selection in the area and we can usually just walk right in and sit down. It’s convenient that this salon is located right inside the mall also. I would not go here for my own haircut, so those reviewers that indicate they had a less than awesome experience with their«adult» styling, you get what you pay for — and ultimately, it *is* a salon in a mall — what do you really expect?

Really expensive considering they hawk a $ 15 haircut & blow dry for $ 20. With a blow dry yesterday, I paid $ 35. Normally I get my hair cut at Torrington Beauty Academy where I’m out the door with $ 17, however their hours aren’t conducive to when I work now, so this place gets the job done. Unlike other bargain salons like Cost Cutters they don’t butcher my hair here. Long layers are not rocket science. Stylists here are hit or miss. Some are awesome, some suck, and some are meh. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of my stylist today aside from her name beginning with K. She was awesome. That said, for the sake of convenience this place does the trick although it’s not my first choice.
