I stopped in this store to add a line for my daughter. I needed information to determine if it was better to add her on to my plan or get a prepaid because she doesn’t need all the bells and whistles at her age just yet. Neil waited on me and seemed very helpful at first. He initially told me that it would be $ 6 for the phone and then I would pay the remaining costs of the phone monthly… YES, FORPREPAID. I reiterated everything back to him so there was no confusion as far as what he was telling me and he agreed that is how it works but that«prepaid is different and new here… we don’t sell a lot of them so I’m not an expert». Well, not my problem as there was a manager and another associate for him to ask. As a matter of fact, it was the associate that jumped in at the end as said, «They have to pay for the phone now, duh» which wasn’t professional BUT hell, she knew the deal. To make my book short, when all was said and done, he kept asking for more money for this and that and I cancelled because it’s the principle that matters to me. If I walk into a retail establishment and ask the complete and total price of something, I expect to be given accurate information and not random guesses. I DONOT appreciate my time being wasted. On top of all that, the manager didn’t give a flying squirrel tail about it and gave me a «sorry for your experience» yawning as I walked away. I can’t find a reason to visit this store again. I am truly offended and mad at the sales associate’s incompetence. Unilocal needs to have a half star option… jus sayin.
