WeWork Wonder Bread Factory

Nice open loft space for co-​sharing for up and coming entrepreneurs. Very loft like. I am loving the space. I’m not sure about the cost as I’m here for an after hours event.

The lovely refurbished Wonder Bread Factory has been turned into WeWork.
This is a pretty modern, swanky space for people to rent office space a month-​to-​month basis. You can rent small offices, communal space, or large meeting rooms.
They offer complimentary coffee and redbull.
The best part of the space is the non-​smoking patio where you can also relax with a nice view of the city or if you feel so inclined — you can work out on the patio since they have seating and tables available.
Why do I know all this? I asked after having an interview here.

I was blown away by this place after meeting a friend there for a meeting. It’s literally behind the Shaw-​Howard Metro stop and within walking distances to some of DC’s best bars and restaurants.
The building itself is amazing. It’s all brick and has the cool, hipster industrial feel. The offices are all glass and they have snacks and Madcap (from Grand Rapids, MI) in the kitchen. Two roof decks give you great views of the city!
Warning: Dress hipster if you go here. Everyone is dressed well!

I came here for a happy hour on the rooftop. It is a gorgeous space with amazing views of the city. It used to be the Wonder Bread Factory, which adds to the charm and uniqueness of the space.

I attended the Champagne & Pastries event here and had a blast! The event was beautiful and informative. I met so many great people in one night. Although the event was held in the evening, the building was absolutely gorgeous. I’m sure it’s even more breath taking during the day time hours. I took a stroll down the hallway where the offices are. Looks like a fun place to work! I can only wish that my office building was as nice!

If you could work in the coolest office on the planet, it would look a little something like WeWork’s Wonder Bread Factory.
A friend who is a WeWork member hosted me here for a meeting and although I heard it was a pretty cool spot, you don’t know just how awesome it is until you work out of this facility. Big open co-​working spaces (my favorite is the open seating on the patio) plus desk assignments upstairs along with office nooks on both the first and second floors. The whole place seems to be outfitted by Room and Board, lots of clean lines, quirky design and woodsy furniture. There’s a kitchen that is always well stocked with the tastiest beverages (they have Right Proper beer on tap!).
The best part about the space is the collaboration. There’s nothing worse than relegating yourself to work strictly at home or from a coffee shop and WeWork is a testament to the power of collaboration. You can strike up a conversation with the friendly folks who are also stationed at WeWork– whether it be about someone’s startup, marketing banter or the like.
Although it costs upwards of an arm and a leg to rent out a desk there, there’s benefits to be had by posting up at WeWork.
