This Starbucks location(inside the Renaissance Hotel) is the worst one I’ve ever been to. The employees here do not put any effort into what they do whatsoever because unsuspecting hotel guests will keep coming here regardless. I’ve been here a handful of times and the service was slow, the employees were rude, and worst of all, the drinks were consistently bad. Avoid this location and go to any of the other ones within walking distance of this one.

This is a Starbucks; expect usual Starbucks fare including coffee, tea, espresso beverages, pastries, and warm sandwiches. This location is tucked in the back of the Renaissance Marriott. On a slow day service is great; when there is a busy conference service can get backed up. Overall this location is a ok.

Starbucks? More like Star-take-my-bucks-forget-my-drink-then-make-me-the-wrong-drink. For a drink you have to take a second mortgage out on your home for, you could at least hope for some service.

Exceedingly rude mid-day wait staff. Serve the customer THEN finish your personal conversation.

Limited seating, they have several employees working but only one running the register so the line is long and backed up. Because of this your order gets lost in translation and your sitting waiting for your food and it never gets done. I had to remind them of my order after waiting 5 minutes. I am staying at the hotel, but will not be coming back to this starbucks.

Next time I need breakfast in this area, I think I’ll try something different. I ordered one of the wraps. The cashier told me it was vegan, which confused me because I thought it had eggs and eggs aren’t vegan. When I asked if it had eggs, he said yes so, I’m not sure he knew what he was talking about. When I opened my bag, I was surprised to see that I didn’t get a wrap at all, but a bacon and egg sandwich instead. I’m not a vegan, nor am I vegetarian but it would be nice to get something somewhat resembling my order.

Such a friendly staff! Every time I’ve been to this location they are pleasant and smiling. Barista even told me «you look nice today.» Will definitely be back.

Who doesn’t love Starbucks inside the lobby of their hotel? I did not experience any bad customer service as other Unilocalers seemed to have experienced. They open at 0600 am and I believe they close at 6pm too. They take cash, credit and even though they don’t have a scanner, they can enter your starbucks number into their register if you have a starbucks app. It is pricier than the local starbucks but that it is to be expected.

I alway love a good Starbucks. I started going here because the one in Chinatown alway someone is asking me for money. No even this place. Anything beyond 16 and O. Away from Dupont Circle. It a limited seating with only three define area for plug outlet. Free wifi. And a good all you can eat brunch next door. I don’t like this location. If I have to pay all that money and have people getting in my face. I don’t what to come back here again.

No coupons accepted. Not very friendly. Walk two blocks to the next Starbucks.

Not a real Starbucks so no coupons or Starbucks cards allowed. Inflated prices and seriously bad lattes. Mine was too hot(scorched) to drink and $ 5.

Always have gotten good coffee here — I’ve hung out here many times in between work meetings — I was in here earlier this week drinking a cup of Java before a customer meeting. This Sbux is right in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel — you can access the Starbucks from the hotel lobby — or from the street through a side entrance. There is outdoor seating by the side entrance.
