Friendly service, delicious food and lots of options. We ducked into the Reagan building to try to find a place to eat that wasn’t a sandwich. There are too many sandwich places in DC. I had already decided I probably wanted gyro, but when we arrived at this stall, we were greeted with samples! I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted to eat and the samples just kept rolling out until I was able to make a decision. We ordered a gyro plate and a beef schwarma. Everything was great. I loved the salads, I loved the rice, I loved the pita, which tasted home made… This place should have been way busier.

We were looking for a bit to eat. Found this place and glad we did. Tasty food. Spicy garlic potatoes were great. They let you substitute sides and they were very friendly.

Went there for lunch today; the lamb gyro was outstanding. I would definitely recommend Quick Pita.

For $ 6.70(tax included), the sandwiches and their attitude left something to be desired. «Motherf*** this and that.» When I left and saw that Subways was right on the corner, I felt like asking for my money back so I could buy a foot long there, definitely would have been better quality and value.

Hidden at back of food court. Excellent food especially salads and gyro are flavored just right, and at fairly good prices. Drinks a bit over-priced.

It’s so so if you’re not too hungry, don’t care if latex gloves aren’t used, and speak Greek. The prices are much higher since 1.6 years ago but the quality is not

I was surprised at how good I thought the gyro was. I am planning on going back just for that! It was very satisfying and had a lot of flavor. I thought it was a good price too, it was only a bit over 6 dollars for a good sized pita with many pieces of gyro. The woman working there really sold me by giving me a free sample of the chicken Shwarma and the gyro, they were both tasty and that convinced me to go for it.

Letter Q: Ate lunch at the historic post office in June 2012 and again in Sept 2012, and this is a pretty solid pita. Not as good as Perfect Pita but still pretty good in downtown/Penn Quarter. This a touristy location in a food court area so there were a lot of kids running around, but if you don’t mind the craziness, its a good spot.

The Quick Pita at the Reagan Building is actually pretty good. I got the beef gyro and the fries, and was pretty filling

While I didn’t expect much from a food-court joint, Quick Pita is pretty good. The falafel was mushy, but was filled with flavor(The tahini sauce helped a lot). The fries were very good, surprisingly. Most things here are vegan! Worth the stop if you are already in the OPO!- Veg on

It doesn’t look like much in the old post office pavilion but is one of my regular go to places for lunch. The lentils have a great and consistent flavor. The spicy potatoes are delicious. It is very easy to eat vegetarian here and be full.

MMMMMFALAFEL«SANDWICH».. . I say«sandwich» because it was actually wrapped in pita bread, but whatever, it was great! Enough to satisfy hunger. I also ordered a side of rice & umm.. .. it was totally minute rice. I was expecting something a little bit better from a middle eastern place, but I guess they are still a fast food place in a food court.

i ordered the gyro combo and it was extremely disappointing. first off the gyro was already premade and wrapped in foil, all they did was put it onto a little grill to heat it up. i asked if i could get it without tomatoes they told me no. i asked why not and they said it was already made. i asked if they could make me a fresh one without tomatoes and they said if i didnt like tomatoes i should find a fork and take them out. i said fine and told them that was horrible customer service to which they responded, it was six bucks deal with it. when i ate the actual gyro the pita was hard and dry and there was very little meat. overall, it is a horrible place to eat and i definitely will not eat there again. i recommend you DONOTEATTHERE

Weak! What is wrong with all the Unilocal people giving this place 3 and 4 stars. I would give it one and a half stars if I could. Are you seriously telling me that two slices of dried meat in a grocery store bought pita bread with a half cup of garlic potato’s and a coke is ten bucks and I’m supposed to think it’s a good value. Hell no. I would order the potatoes again, but not a gyro from there. NOTE: For my «Platter«, I was given two of those little tiny gas station napkins. I would say that I won’t go back there again, but the truth is that choices are limited in the Reagan building unless you have at least 30 minutes to kill, so I’ll probably go back for the potatoes or try something else from the menu.

fairly inexpensive, Arabic food, the guy working was Palestinian and rather friendly and amusing so I guess this is Palestinian/Lebanese style food. I got the lamb kabob platter the amount of lamb was rather small and in general the food needed more seasoning, it was pretty bland, watered down for Americans I guess. but pretty good option compared to the adjacent alternatives considering it is in the basement Reagan building food court with mostly chain places.

Disappointed. I’ve never seen such a small pita in my life! I ordered their chicken pita lunch special which was made rushed and sloppy. I was debated getting my money back but the food did taste good. I believe that if this location wasn’t in a packed food court the quality of food and my experience would have been better.

I never would have come here if it wasn’t for the 50% off deal through the Scoutmob App. I don’t know why, but it just irritates me to no end when a food court worker yells out to people who are just looking(from 10 feet away like me) «HEYCAN I HELPYOU? YOUHAVEANYQUESTIONS? WEHAVESPECIALS! WEGOTCHICKEN. WANT A TASTE?»(holds up morsel of chicken on a toothpick) I know they are just using a «marketplace» or «bazaar» mentality from their homeland. But geez louise guy, give a person time to read your incredibly poorly written menu and process the concept of your shwarma or pita. Ok? What irritates me even more is when that same guy is so busy yelling at other people who are halfway across the food court that he can’t even supervise the staff so they give you the correct order. TWICE the workers tried to give me someone else’s order. The couscous was not what I expected. And the vegetable soup was FULL of celery and peas. Shining stars were the Spanakopita and the Baklava. If the small soup wasn’t $ 2.95 and the baklava wasn’t $ 1.45, I wouldn’t even dream of returning.

The name can sometimes be a lie: it’s not always quick and in fact quite slow. It isn’t the smoothest operation in the world. As far as the food goes, the shwarma isn’t that good and pretty meager. There are better options in the food court(and if you are a gov’t worker, I strongly suggest walking over to the Dept. of Commerce’s cafeteria).

Very friendly service(especially for a fast food joint), good food, and pretty cheap prices. I could eat here everyday I’m in the city and need a quick bite. i didnt have high hopes for a fast food pita shop in a food court, but it was great. There was a tiny wait(maybe 90 seconds) between ordering and receiving food, but the man behind the counter was entertaining and poked fun at my order. I was immediately impressed since I’m 6’4″ 250pds being made fun of by a 5’2″ guy. Seriously, is it time to go back yet?

Good for a $ 5.50 falafel sandwich if you find yourself stuck in Post Office food court, though the sandwich tasted a bit too salty and not super fresh. The shop is admittedly a better choice than most of the other offerings. Their selling technique is a little aggressive, but that seems to be part of the food court culture nowadays. If you have extra time, I’d recommend picking up the red line at Metro Center and riding 2 stops to Dupont Circle for Moby Dick.
