Decent fast casual pizza place. At 16 dollars for a beer and pizza the price was definitely right. I ordered the Moonstruck. It was OK. The truffle sauce was a little weird and heavy. Guess that should be expected when you order truffle sauce on a 10 dollar pizza. I will definitely return, just order something different.

The pizza tasted great, but the service was slow, there was no gluten-free crust left and they didn’t have the homemade mozzarella which I wasn’t informed about until after my pizza was being made. I thought it was shady to start making a pizza without stating that options on the menu were not available.

A pizza made before your very eyes! Great pizza options and toppings available, loved the slight char on the pizza crust. Delicious hand crafted sodas and local beers! When i first saw the size i didn’t think i could eat an entire pizza but i sure was wrong! The classic was exactly what i needed and the Farmers Daughter was hot and spicy! Loved the habanero sauce. oh so good!

If you don’t make a pizza here while you’re in DC you should be deported. This pizza is amazing. I’ve been around the world not a food critic just a dude that loves pie. This is in my top 3.

I got the Boss Hogg pizza this evening and it was amazing. The concept of this restaurant is awesome, the ability to customize your own personal pizza. They are not your little itty bitty personal pizzas from the chain restaurants, they are very good size and only about $ 9. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious pizza. The staff was very friendly and kind. The area was clean and very modern. If I had to find one thing to complain about it would be the volume of the music was too loud at times, but that was dependent on the song playing at that moment. Other than that… Everything was great.

My first time here and I do love it! It was confusing at first, I had no clue what I could get and couldn’t get but after observing I caught on fast. Like another Unilocaler had mentioned, this is the«Chipotle» of pizza. You pick what ingredients they have in front of you and that is basically it. One flaw was that one of our pizza was burned around the corner and the side. We didn’t complain but I could tell on the girl’s face that she saw something wrong but didn’t say anything. We ate the slice of burnt pizza but hopefully in the future they can correct such mishaps. Otherwise, this place is a great place for your own personal pizza with any toppings that you desire. Just a caution, you may want to limit the topping because the crust is thin you can cause it to become soggy due to the amount of ingredients piling on top.

Can always count on satisfying my taste buds @ &Pizza. Tonight was okay, with the exception of one employee who I must put on blast. It’s nice to see inner-city youths who are gainfully employed, but I don’t want to see your underwear(boxer) and the entire form of your ass while you are fixing anything to eat for me. Bad enough I have to see that foolishness on the streets of DC. But downtown, blocks from the white house, at an establishment where food is served? Someone needs to tell him to leave the hood attire in the hood. Young man, dark complexion, big lips with tattoo on neck. Please don’t get offended by the description«big lips». That’s what makes us who we are. My lips are big, my sons lips are bigger and we are proud of our lips and so should he. This post is not to attack his blackness, but for him to dress like he wants more than &Pizza or fast food for his future. My 8 year old nephew visiting from Florida said to me: «Unc, I didnt expect to see that up here like back home where they dont no any better.» And this is from a very smart 7 year old! And no1 serviced the line of customers with a welcoming smile tonight… not a single employee. All talking nonsense with each other. Shame on the manager on duty today. Or maybe the manager is the young man with the saggy pants!!!

This was my first experience with &pizza. I was definitely impressed. They specialize in pizzas as their name suggests although they have other offerings such as salads. They make the pizza in an assembly line as the customer walks along and makes selections. They offer a few«standard» pizzas with a specific form and ingredients. I had the Boss Hogg version. It had some typical toppings and included BBQ pulled pork. Customers are free to customize their own pizzas by selecting some or all of a set of possible dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings. The pizzas are individual pizzas that are long and narrow. The pizza was large and filling; it could be shared with another. Seating is at a counter along the wall or at large shared community tables. Don’t go here if you want to have an intimate conversation. I really like the pizza and recommend it. I will return to &pizza although it will be more likely a different location since I am not often in the area.

I love all things &Pizza. Reasonably priced, great ingredients to choose from, friendly service, and delicious pizza. I try to make a different pizza every time I go. I’m such a creature of habit. Classic tomato sauce, spinach, mozzarella & quattro formaggi, broccoli, shrimp, roasted red peppers, olives, argula, and basil pesto sauce drizzled on top. Yep, I get all of the ingredients. But, it’s so delicious. I tried the spicy tomato pesto sauce one time. I really like the classic tomato sauce best. In any case, it’s a make your own pizza that tastes great. Bön Appétit!

MYFAVORITEPLACE! You get your personal pizza with unlimited toppings for $ 10! And it’s DELICIOUS! I like how you can customize it to make it(relatively) healthier. I always build my own pizza, but if I were to select something from the menu it would be the Farmer’s Daughter. My only complaint about this location is the uncomfortable/limited seating.

Following a fruitless night of being ditched by a friend at a bar crawl on the night of Halloween, my buddy and I were looking to score some pizza and at least leave to go home a little happier. We looked across the street and saw, to our surprise, that &pizza was still open! The costumed patrons were bustling in the store, and we knew we had to try it. &pizza follows the classic«assembly line» structure made famous by Chipotle where each section you get to customize your pizza: Dough, cheese, protein, and additional toppings like vegetables, sauces, and whatnot. So it gives you the awesome choice of either choosing a specialty pizza with preset toppings(which you can add more toppings to at the end as a note), or you can build one from the dough onward. I would say the variety of toppings in this place is really stellar. They had three types of dough to choose from to start with and then a multitude of cheeses, meats, and toppings to lay on top of that magnificent creation. It comes out looking absolutely beautiful and a full pizza is definitely enough to fill up a stomach. It’s also DELICIOUS. So good, fresh out of the oven good!(Because it is in fact, fresh out of the oven). It’s definitely not a joint where you peer into a window and see yet-to-be-baked pizza slices that will be popped into the oven. Here, YOU have the power the oversee your pizza, and that is just fantastic. Definitely will be back!

I was here last night for the first time and it was everything I expected. I just came from The Park sooo having pizza after a drunken night was perfect ! I ordered not one but two pizzas. I got one I created and the other was something spicy with balsamic, I forgot what it was because I was inebriated … But I posted two pictures below. Both pizzas were absolutely amazing and the crust ohhhhhhh the crust was buttery and crispy. It was soooo good! The staff were soooo nice!, considering they have to deal with the crowd from the club. I will be back! Only difference is I will be sober lol

I’m in love. Can you open up one in Houston please? Likes: — Preset pizza options OR make your own(you definitely should make your own) — Crust: love the artisan style crust — thin, crispy and delicious — Toppings galore… not only do they have toppings that go through the oven but also fresh toppings that the end like arugula, sun dried tomatoes, etc. — Cheese choices: vegan cheese? yes please! TMI I’m lactose-intolerant and this is the first pizza joint that I’ve come across to have it AND taste good! Dislikes: — Don’t rush the customer; it was our first time there and they were getting antsy asking us all the toppings we wanted on it even when we were so far back that we couldn’t see all our options(I think I would’ve modified mine if I new all the toppings — maybe a list of ALL ingredients on the menu would help?) — Ice was out in fountain drink so all drinks were warm — Dining area a little tight but fairly quick turnover so could snag a table

Well I’m taking lead from my previous review of &pizza last Friday as my visit at this location knocked customer service out the park! Yes, I was in greedy mode as it was a demand that our pre-movie meal was yet again &pizza. Since my 1st step of my Ward Walk with the Mayor, I had &pizza on the brain! So I mapped out my small journey from my necessary Metro stop & there I was. For me, being greeted & genuinely acknowledged is a huge must as its my $ I’m spending… well for the most part . The Yung &FAB&pizza crew was overly on point. We all know the millennium babies can sometimes just be present for their paycheck… not these ones! Their professionalism & eager to share insight & direction of culinary delights was very refreshing. Same concept yet different people. I stated it was my 1st time at this location yet coming off of the newbie stance yesterday. I got the double mint twins of service(not actual twins) & schooling while my pie creation was being prepared. The young lady was Picasso of Sauces, as she really took pride in saucing up my Gluten Free Crust LOL. A new ingredient brought to my attention was the faux beef crumbles… outstanding hats off compliments to the Executive Chef of &pizza for the veggie substitutes. I tried a few as I am still enjoying the Falafel, in which I requested to be crushed over my pie. I had it twice baked & yet again, a Sicilian pie of perfection. Two new experiences during the visit, one the finishing sauces. I tried both the Red Pepper Chili & Garlic oils, a prefect drizzle to a very tasty looking pie. & the other, my FAVORITE… the sampling of the &pizza wine… red of course. I opted to have the full wine experience on my next excursion. The tantalizing repeat of these signature homemade pies did not disappoint. Again, that Ginger Berry Lemonade is hands down the best lemonade concoction to my palate. Turn up for the Yung Crew: Jayson, Briana, Tiffany & Robbie… in no special order, for a fantastic foodie & customer service experience! See ya soon!

Nothing I haven’t already said before. &Pizza is super wonderful and I love their pies. I had my first visit to this location last night. Service was solid and the pizza was great. No complaints. Keep up the great work!

Build your own pizzas or pick from their menu. I actually really like their pizza — i am not a red sauce person, and their garlic spread is great! However, I’m trying to have a healthy summer and stopped in to grab a quick salad to go. Online /other reviews made the salad look delicious! Smallest salad ever for $ 10. Overpriced and they put minimal effort into my customer service and building it. Especially considering they weren’t even busy when I came in! Fairly large sized chain in DC. This location must be a lunch spot. Go for the pizza, not the salad!

Stopped here after a long night of bar hopping to fulfill late night munchies. There was an abundance of drunken patrons awaiting marinara mozzarella masterpieces to absorb some of their libations, but that is to be expected on a Saturday night. Avoid the bathrooms here at all cost… sink was filled with vomit and used women’s feminine products… Absolutely disgusting!!! But again this place was crawling with drunks at this time so I won’t hold this against the restaurant. Other than the bathroom the restaurant was clean. The setup is Chipotle esque. Pizza toppings in an assembly line. Various gourmet topping options. For around $ 10 you get a good sized flat bread pizza with your choice of toppings. We went with two of the signature pies, The Maverick. It was amazing! The olive oil mixture they topped the pizza with defined the flavors. Will definitely come here again next time I am in the area. My pizza craving was more than satisfied with this place.

One might look at a map and wonder whether &pizza locations in DC have reached the point of market saturation, given that the E Street location(the first and most detailed review I wrote), Dupont South, and K Street are in a line and really quite close together. The lunch crowd at K Street suggests the answer is no. However, as lines for downtown lunch spots go, this one moves reasonably well and is worth the wait. This one has a few more table seats than some of the other &pizza outlets, but no outdoor seating. I walked to Logan Circle. My increasingly typical order came out quite well. If anything, it was downright overtopped, but I don’t mind getting a lot of stuff for my money. Fresh mozz and spicy chickpeas are both filling and delicious foundations, and there are many appealing toppings to choose from. The house sodas, particularly pear/fig, are hard to pass up. This marked the first time that I was unable to finish an &pizza in one go. Like any pizza, it loses a little something during reheating, so I definitely suggest coming hungry and scarfing one down. I continue to marvel at the relatively consistent and rigorous assembly line process; they put these things together fast and they always seem to get it right and avoid cross-contamination. For anyone lost in DC’s concrete jungle, this is as good of a lunch as you’ll find.

3 a.m. Friday — 2 people 1. Ambiance: Such a hip and modern fast food pizza joint. White metal chairs and marble community tables populate this place. The establishment elongates with narrow passage ways. 2. Food: I ordered the Farmer’s Daughter, which consists of spicy tomato, housemade mozzarella, hot sausage, spinach, two farm eggs, parmesan reggiano, and red pepper chili oil. The toppings were fresh, zesty, and flavorsome. The running eggs on top makes the pizza so creamy and sets a perfect combination with the rest of the other items on the pizza. My sauce was the Roasted Garlic Purée and that was delectable as well. 3. Service: The restaurant functions similar to Chipotle’s/Pot Belly’s lineup system. More so like Pot Belly with the conveyer belt toasting the pizza. It was 3 a.m. and the employees were nice and patient, given that some people were belligerent from a late night of drinking and dancing. 4. Costs: $ 8.86 and it was very reasonable for a delicious personal pizza. I preferred more meat and cheese to be provided, but that’s just the inner fatty of me speaking out loud. 5. Overall Experience: The incipient rumor of this location being one of the best pizzas in town is true. It is safe to promulgate that &Pizza should be a notable part of the food landmarks in DC. The service, food, price, and ambiance were perfect. Side Notes: They open late on Saturdays until 3:30 a.m.
