So I Placed my order online … 45 mins later NOTHING so I called the store and yet another person answered who barely spoke English and stated«your food no come lady» «coming coming» 5 minutes later the delivery driver shows up BUT with half of my order!!! He said«did she bring your wings» … ??? Who is she like so confused«oh another delivery driver is bringing your wings» :PAUSE A MOMENT: you’re telling me you left Papa Johns that’s .7 miles from my house without my wings??? And didn’t go back !!! That’s the main thing I wanted My Pizza was cold !!! At 1245AM … YESAFTERMIDNIGHT I got a call from the«other delivery driver» saying he was pulling up with my wings ! OK I placed my order at 9:30/9:45PM here it is almost 1AM and you’re showing up with my 8 wings!!! Unacceptable… mind you they close at 11pm and my pizza came at 11 NEVERAGAIN!!! Papa John’s pizza is great, but this store is anything but. Every time I’ve ordered from this location my order was incorrect — whether it was cut incorrectly, missing a soda, or lacking the pepperoni I ordered, it’s ALWAYS wrong. Worse, ordering at this location through EAT24 is a total nightmare: Anticipate your order arriving at least two hours late(and probably wrong) and don’t bother complaining — the managers will never return your call. Please do not order from this location.):

Literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. After 6 minutes of being asked to slowly repeat my phone number again and again, I was put on hold for another 5 minutes. Didn’t even get to ask about the actual pizza. Save yourself the energy.

Awful, just plain awful. I wish the only word on this review could be awful be this review has to be a bit longer. Very awful.

AVOID… AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID…AVOID… Having said that: * The pizzas themselves are good. As good as any pizza I’ve gotten from any Papa Johns, of which there are a vast number in the DMV area… and herein, perhaps, lies the problem. As are the chicken nuggets, which appear to be recognizable parts of erstwhile chickens, and which — no joke — we order largely to share with our cats. But I digress. * The food being tasty, by national-franchise-delivery standards, isn’t the problem. This particular store, however, is managed by Charlie Foxtrot. Several times, orders from EAT24 failed to go through. The most recent time, the order was listed as «confirmed,» and over a two-hour-plus-forty-five minute period(I’m a big believer in the«Sunk Cost Fallacy»), despite the manager both putting me on hold for up to 20 minutes(despite my saying«no» in response to the I-now-realize rhetorical«can I put you on hold» question), and telling me twice that the food was on its way, I found, after the third call, that the order had not in fact been received at all. I later called Eat24, whose rep not only showed the exact opposite level of customer service, but told me that their company had been having problems with Papa John’s franchises in numerous locations. Having shared all this, I could of course have avoided this irritating First-World-Problem filled evening by ordering from the Papa John’s website itself, but… word to the wise nonetheless.

I ordered my once yearly pizza only to find, when I brought it home, that it had pepperoni(which I do not eat). They refused to replace it, in spite of the fact that I had a written online order indicating that I had not ordered pepperoni. I had to call the national customer service number. It was a waste of my time.

On line order of a square cut pizza with an email response of delivery within 30 – 40 minutes; An hour and five(5) minutes later, I get a round barely warm pizza; called the establishment and stated I have a concern, and was immediately interrupted to say they’re busy and my pizza is on its way — tried again to give details = again interrupted — went to assertive route, can I state my concern without interruption and you’ll then have accuracy about my concern, instead of using your crystal ball of why I’m calling. Offered to send me a corrected round pizza: Duhhh, I;m not waiting another hour for another pizza re. the rep. of not listening, delivering late, and wrong pizza. Emailed the customer service site, got an incident number, they called it, and they promised I’d be contacted within 3 – 5 business days(they open everyday) — six(6) days later– 01÷29÷15 no contact = I’m on to patronize Petes Pizza Haven that delivers to my neighborhood too, or pick up a five dollar hot and ready from Little Caesars, in the next block from this location. The best measurement of service is ALSO, when something goes wrong, how it’s handled: Grade of F!

Over an hour and a half wait for a pizza, and no one will even answer the phone. I called their national customer service line, and even they had no idea what is going on in the store. I’ve called no less than 6 times, only to be hung up on when someone actually bothered to answer the phone. When I called back like a damn maniac, they told me «oh, the delivery guy already left.» If I wasn’t watching my roommates sick dog, I’d have walked the 5 blocks over there — or ordered from somewhere else. Too bad I’d already paid via online ordering. The pizza is not that good for this kind awful service.
