Fabulous concept. Breathing life into a part of the city that has promise. Great prices, good selection, cool store. Customer service was also exceptional, individual at the register saved me an extra 15!

I’m so glad this store is in DC. It’s in the heart of one of DC’s most up and coming neighborhoods, Ivy City, and the store itself if HUGE! They sell everything from socks to shoes to running shorts and at reasonable prices. In the back, they have a bin to drop your old shoes so they can upcycle them. The staff is friendly too!

It took awhile to walk here from the NoMa metro station but I have been looking forward to coming here for months and decided to do so on a very hot and sunny day. Service here is great. Everyone is pretty friendly and I felt like I interacted with most of the employees when they asked if I was finding everything ok or needed a dressing room and during the payment process. For some reason, I didn’t feel like they had as much women’s stuff as I would have liked to see but that’s not to say they don’t have variety. After getting home, I saw stuff online that was in the store and stuff in the store that I couldn’t find online. I must say, buyer beware. After getting home, and even during my time in the store, I felt some of the items were priced kind of high for being a factory store, and my suspicion was confirmed in two ways. The first was seeing that items I purchased at the store were the same price as they were online and that stickers on the items were actually higher than the printed retail price so I’ll be returning most items at a future date. I did learn after chatting with a Nike rep online that I can return my purchases at any Nike store so that’s nice. The item I will definitely be keeping is a dry fit shirt that I got for $ 6.97(I found it on one of the racks I think was marked clearance). The shirt had a sticker for $ 19.99, and the rack said 30% off(I think). When I got to the register, Brandon, who rang me up, noted his surprise and showed it to Shanta, a fellow employee. I wanted to make sure it was a good surprise and he said it definitely was. The other thing to beware is the inconsistent pricing on the items. I found two identical sports bras with different sizes. I’m sure they would ring up the same but just a heads up. Also, I couldn’t see the items prices as the cashier was ringing them up. He scanned them on a handheld device and then printed the receipt on a separate machine. Otherwise, there is a good chance I would have reconsidered some of the items but instead I’m left to go back to Nike and return. I was looking for headbands and finally found them up front near the registers. They were full priced so I decided to pass. Agree with others that the employees are nice, store is clean, and everything is in its place. I didn’t notice it up front when I walked in, but I did see a bunch of shopping bags to use to carry the items I was considering by the locker rooms(aka dressing rooms) near the womens’ section. Next to the bags was a bin where you can donate your old soles to be repurposed. One other minor complaint was lack of a locker room attendant. People kind of lingered around, waiting for someone to let them into the dressing room, where max items is 6 that you can bring in. Lots of shoes, and I think those prices were slightly less than retail. They also have a back wall of clearance shoes, very organized and clean here too.

Lots of shoes, very good prices. Plus I had a very helpful sales rep, and a friendly cashier. I will return when the need for shoes strikes again!
