I gave ML one star only because I could not give it less. I have had an account with ML for over 30 years but no more! I deposited a large check into my account. The web site said the check cleared (i. e., was NOT pending) so I wrote a check to my mortgage company. Apparently, despite what the website said, the check had not cleared. My check bounced. I called ML. They were very unhelpful. When I finally found someone who knew what was going on, that person did not care. Charged me $ 30 for the bounced check and my mortgage company also charged me $ 30. Of course the day after the check bounced, ML sent an e-​mail to tell me the money was in the account (not that they usually do this. I insisted). Avoid these people!
