The service here continually gets worse. They ignore calls, mess up orders and do a great job at getting everything wrong. I used to like this place, but I will not be ordering here anymore.

Awful customer service. I ordered delivery, and didn’t get a phone call. The driver claimed he called, but whatever– I was sitting in the living room! If he had KNOCKEDONTHEDOOR, I’d be eating(bland) pizza right now. This place seems to have a history of bad customer service. Maybe their driver should actually get out of the car? When I called them up to ask them to send out my food, or at least a refund, they refused. There are too many mediocre pizza places in this city to waste time on this one. Avoid.

So to being I will just say I’ve had food here a couple times and it’s always been decent. Tonight I ordered a sandwich and onion rings. 45 minutes go by and no food. So I’m really starting to get annoyed especially for a Wednesday night… So another 10 minutes go by and they tell me there are no more onion rings(main reason I called) I asked the guy on the phone what I could substitute them for he replied«I don’t know, look at the menu! Really!!! Guy then drops off the food after I chose motz sticks, of course they were cold! Anyways the only reason I gave only 2 stars is cause the food has been decent on occasion!

I usually don’t write online reviews, but felt compelled to comment on the truly disgusting fare and horrendous customer service that seems to be the norm for Marvelous Pizza. I ordered a large thin crust pizza, a 2 Liter of Diet Pepsi and Garlic Bread for delivery. After waiting over 2 hours, I finally received my order. Unfortunately, «Marvelous» Pizza doesn’t use insulated delivery bags, so of course the food was quite cold by the time it arrived. Regardless of the temperature the entire delivery was inedible. The pizza had the incorrect toppings and was literally the worst pizza I have ever tasted. After eating half a slice, I threw it in the trash. The garlic bread was burned and disgusting. The only part of the order I was able to stomach was the 2 liter of Diet Pepsi. I have absolutely no idea how this place stays in business. If you’re in the mood for a pizza, do yourself a favor and order from absolutely any other place in the city or just plan on eating the cardboard box that the pizza comes in since you won’t be able to stomach the absolutely horrible food that comes from this place.

This place is FAR from marvelous! Pizza tasted like it came out of a freezer… wait, DiGiorno is waaaay better. I ordered a large salad and they delivered a small and guess what dressing came with it? Ketchup. Yes, I said ketchup. I called back to let them know & they said they would be sending another one right over. Not surprising that they never came back with the correct order. Save yourself the hassle and skip this place, you’d be better off eating the box it came in.

Cold pizza and even colder service. Delivery order to location two blocks away took 90 minutes despite being told it would take 45 minutes. When I called to inquire about delay, the woman who took my order hung up on me. Called back. Hung up again. Pizza arrived cold.

I ordered at 3:00PM. By 5:00PM I got to wondering where my food was, and called. This is the transcript of our conversation. Me: Why is my order late? Manager: «Oh, our oven wasn’t working.» Me: «Did you have my number?» Manager: «yeah.» Me: So why didn’t you call me to let me know?“ Manager: «I don’t know, I’d have to ask my employee who was here at the time, I wasn’t here. Not my fault.» When I asked for them to make up for it, the manager hung up on me. This is my second terrible delivery experience with marvelous pizza(I didn’t write up the first on Unilocal since I figure anybody can screw up once). I will never order from them again. I honestly hope you won’t either. I promise to update this post if they ever reach out with a satisfactory resolution.

Absolute worst service! I put in an order for delivery. My door is wide open, expecting the driver. I miss the drivers call and call him back w/in a minute. He does not answer. Then I get a call from the store saying the driver has left and refuses to come back and deliver an order which has already been paid for. Everything about this place is unprofessional. Will never order from this terrible place again.

Should be named«NASTYPIZZA.» My words fail me in trying to describe how disgusting my food was. I ordered from Marvelous(I think it’s like when you call a rotund guy«Slim») Pizza tonight. It was horrible. I ordered a large pizza and small Greek salad. The salad toppings looked fine but, when I flipped it over to put it in a bowl, the lettuce was brown, disgusting and clearly old. It went straight down the garbage disposal. I had higher hopes for the pizza. It looked great — nice and cheesy. But it had this weird, off-taste that I have never experienced and cannot identify. Were the mushrooms old? Did they use some kind of tomato sauce from a previous decade? Maybe they weren’t tomatoes at all, but some fruit or vegetable I’ve never heard of. I have no idea. My fellow diner and I took a few bites each and it went straight into the trash. I have honestly never been so stumped in trying to identify a taste. I had to swallow gobs of peanut butter and brush my teeth just to get the taste out of my mouth. I just have no clue what is going on here… nasty, brown lettuce… a pizza with a taste that should not exist in this universe… just weird, awful, horrible, terrible food. I called and supposedly got a refund on my credit card, but we’ll see if that happens.

Price points are inexpensive, the wings meaty but I need to figure out if they have real buffalo wing(flavor at least)…not a fan of sweet bbq wings. The calzone with spinich and cheese with the dipping salsa was Unilocaltabulous!!! I really their meaty, a little crispy snd flavorful dough! I’ll be back…

I LOVETHISPLACE! After a fun night out on H st I was craving wings so of course I turned to Unilocal to find me a wing shop in walking distance of the other pizza place that I was at(H& Pizza). My husband and I ordered the Marvelous wings, and buffalo wings with 2 sides of french bread, drinks, ranch dressing and marvelous sauce all for $ 17!!! We demolished them right there. That marvelous sauce is THEBOMB!!!

Marvelous? Their pizzas might be,(I wouldn’t know as this was the first and last time I order here and I didn’t get pizza) but the pasta here is just horrible. I was starving after working late so I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. When I opened up the to go box the first thing that struck me was that the cheese didn’t melt over the pasta, if this dish was packed hot and transported properly the cheese would’ve been melted, but alas, I was starving and it was late, so I took a few bites of the undercooked pasta with meatballs that were obviously frozen and immediately my stomach started churning. I’m no food snob, ramen noodles and Mac-n-cheese is part of my regular diet but it’s 4:35am, and I’m not feeling so hot. NOTHAPPY! The customer service was fantastic though, the lady was super nice.(maybe I should give them 2 stars)

I just ordered delivery. I will now call my credit card company and dispute the charge . This pizza is absolutely disgusting ! Don’t know how to describe the flavor cause I’ve never licked sweaty balls before. But I’m assuming it’s a similar smell and taste. Gross.

A 1 star rating on Unilocal indicates, «Eek! Methinks not.» And so I rate this place a 1, especially if you’re very hungry. If you’re starving and want pizza, search elsewhere. I couldn’t tell you how Marvelous Pizza tastes because my order never came. Was told«20 – 30 minutes», then another 6 minutes, then another 10 minutes. Order canceled.

I really thought I had reviewed Marvelous Pizza before, but I guess not. In my head, I had given them 4 stars, and was pained at the idea of having to come back and downgrade them. But I guess I’m starting from scratch here. I’ve been eating here regularly(2−3x per month) since December. I am lazy, and I love BBQ chicken pizza. At first, their wings were SUPERB, and the pizza was tasty– crust was the perfect thickness, toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the salads were crispy and delish. However, over the last few months, the quality of the food has severely dropped. At first, it was hot wings that were ‘hot’ because of the overwhelming amount of black pepper– not hot sauce. I chalked this up to maybe they just hired a new chef, or someone was filling in for the night. But over time, and over the course of MANY more orders, it became clear that the awesome experience was, in fact, the fluke. After a number of over-cooked, too-thin crust, burnt cheese pizzas, undercooked, flavorless wings, and varying degrees of missing items from orders, the last straw was when the guy taking my order on the phone told me that I was ordering«too much food» for myself. I explained that it was not just me eating, and thanked him for his concern, but come on. Maybe it’s a cultural thing, but I don’t appreciate being told how much food to order. If I want to eat an entire pizza, cheese bread, and a large Greek salad on my own, I should be allowed to. But also our pizza was meh and the cheese bread was barely edible(hard, crispy, overcooked, and super flat). I think we would have been better off dipping the pizza box in marinara sauce(which they forgot to include, and we had to use leftover vodka sauce from last week’s dinner), and eating that. The beau and I will be switching back to Bistro Med.

I want to love this place. I really do. In fact, I like their food quite a bit. Their house fries are really well seasoned and their hot wings are actually hot(lip-numbing, painful hot, which is how I like it). But getting delivery from Marvelous is just obnoxious. Even though they’re like a half mile away(and their estimated delivery time is 30 minutes), they ALWAYS take an hour to bring my food. The drivers somehow screw up my address a lot and try to deliver my food to the neighbors. They’ve never put a fork or a napkin in my bag. They might make more money off their in-house service than they do delivering, but if they’re going to offer the service I’d prefer they didn’t half-ass it.

I wanted to try a new pizza place that would also deliver and Marvelous Pizza showed up on both GrubHub and Seamless. I had a discount code with GrubHub so I went with that service to order. Super simple ordering process and my large 2-topping pizza and 10 wings(for $ 19) was delivered within 30 minutes. The delivery guy was really nice and the food was still warm when it arrived(not hot, but definitely an appetizing temperature). The pizza was pretty good. I ordered pineapple pepperoni, and there were plenty of pepperoni(I always want more pineapple, but I don’t fault them for that). I wish the pizza came with some peppers or garlic sauce like a few other places do, but maybe I just needed to ask or order some. I did add a couple extra dashes of my own red pepper flakes, just because I like the heat. I got the wings with Marvelous Sauce(basically sweet and sour) and it was tasty. I wish the wings were a bit crispier but that didn’t stop me from stuffing my face. So overall, good pizza for a good price!

Excellent pizza! They have a very wide delivery radius, and they deliver reallllly late(3 am during the week, 4 am on weekends). They’re on Foodler( ), so ordering is very easy and convenient. I tried their New York Garden Special thin crust pizza, and it was delicious. Delicious crust, fresh toppings. I’ll definitely order from here again!
