This review is based on my volunteer experience here. For starters the worker’s here are nice and geniunely sweet. The prices for thier clothing is great especially once I began sorting them I ran across all types of great labels. I love how this organization is up on the latest fashions but also accepting of volunteer service at anytime.

Definitely does not look like the typical thrift store. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Reminded me of a cute boutique in NYC. Definitely some great selections. The clothes appeared to be carefully selected. Lots of designer labels as, well. Prices were very reasonable at the same time. There is no fitting room, but that us not abnormal in most thrift stores. Just wear something that you can slip into to try on the clothes. Very cute jewelry so don’t forget to check out the showcase. Also very nice collection of shoes, but all were 6.5 or 7, so I did not get to partake. I wk definitely revisit.

I absolutely love this store!!! I am in there every week. The quality and prices are outstanding!!! Each visit I purchased something. I am a plus size woman and they have beautiful things in my size. And the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

On our way home from the opening day activities for Lumen8 we stopped into Martha’s Outfitters. It was nice surprise. I highly recommend this thrift store. It actually inspired me to volunteer to sort clothes at their location in NW for Martha’s Table. The organizers of this store know how to put together a successful thrift store.(I want to help them with their continued success.) The store was clean. They had a clear pricing structure. They had designer and well known labels on their clothes in good to excellent condition. I picked up a couple of items from Jones New York, Talbots and New York and Company. The only things the store is lacking is a dressing room and a larger home goods section(although what they did offer for home goods appeared functional unlike other thrift stores that make you sort through junk for treasure). Overall, a great experience in a really interesting and developing area of the city(the historic part is becoming an artsy community with the Hive, Honfluer Gallery and the Anacostia Arts Center) which is makes this type of store perfectly place.

Great consignment shop — now I don’t have to trek all the way to Northwest or VA to find a great quality second hand store. The clothing and shoes here were of really great quality and the prices were even better. I’m talking lightly worn coach shoes for $ 25, banana republic pants for $ 10, and other nice finds. They have a price chart that is easy to understand and everything was neatly organized. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I had a not so great experience at their 14th Street location about a year ago, but my opinion has now completely changed. Two thumbs up!
