Manhattan Pizza Truck

My first visit I had a couple of slices of Pepperoni Pizza (new york style, thin crust). They were good… but I think may have been reheated — which is not abnormal for a food truck. The taste and quality were somewhat in-​line with the well-​known DC Slices food trucks.
It was my second visit however, that blew me away. They asked if I would like a Stromboli — which wasn’t on the menu but was depicted on the truck. Now the line between a Stromboli and Calzone is often blurred but that discussion is for another day, but the custom Pepperoni and Sausage Stromboli that they made me was WELL worth the 5 – 10 minute wait.
It was genuinely made from scratch to order, stuffed with pepperoni, sausage and mozzarella cheese and then cooked to perfection. The aroma, the look, the presentation were only rivaled by the delicious taste of the meaty and gooey cheesy goodness! Normally they make with the sauce inside, but I requested that it be on the side (easier to eat that way) and they provided juat the right amount to compliment the Stromboli.
I will definitely return. It was not only the best Stromboli I’ve had from a truck… it was among the best Stromboli I have ever had.

Wow !! This was my first time to eat Pizza out of a food truck and let me tell you it was Delicious. Perfect crust with amazing flavor. It was hot, Fresh and not greasy like most pizza places. Fast service and friendly staff. Great Job Manhattan Pizza. Come back to Metro Center again …

(2.5 stars) I wasn’t crazy about this pizza. For $ 9, I got two cheese slices and a drink. The cheese slices were okay but they were super oily, surprisingly not that hot although seemingly just out of the oven, lacked sauce, had underwhelming crust, and eventually tasted solely like cheese (although I did like their cheese blend). And, the service was a bit slow for pretty much a pure pizza truck.
This truck seems relatively new and their pizza has some potential. With a few adjustments, they could offer some pretty good slices.

Whenever you’re in Dc stop by this place! its a purple truck, so its not hard to find.
I had the best slice of cheese pizza ever, it was like I in the NYC eating the pizza straight from there. good prices too.
