Been here several times for tire issues. They are quick, efficient, and friendly. Always my first choice to go for tires.

Friendly and fast, plugged a tire for under $ 20. Great to have this shop in the city.

I thought I needed 4 tires replaced (worn out) and my spare to either be plugged or swapped out. The tech told me I only needed my front 2 tires replaced and he’d go ahead and swap the best of the 2 front tires for my spare. He could have told me I needed to replace all 4, but they’re definitely not the shop that tells you everything is wrong with your car to get an extra buck.
I went today right before the impending snow storm and waiting in line with 6 cars in front of me for about an hour and 15 minutes, once I pulled in the bay, they had done all the work in about 30 minutes. The techs were really helpful and polite and the woman behind the counter was also extremely polite. Will absolutely be coming back and recommending to others.

Horrible experience this morning… Was yelled at by one of the employees after I told him I didn’t have the wheel lock key. I understand it’s cold but this will be my first and last time here. It’s a shame since I live one block away but id rather come out to Arlington where I’m treated like a paying customer. Hopefully this business will go away with all the nearby Union market development.

This used to be one of the best places for people with tire issues at nighttime as it is ²⁴⁄₇. There used to be friendly younger techs. NOT ANY MORE. Now it’s horrible customer service! Tonight I went there to wait for 45 mins. I was unsure which tire had a puncture or leak and told the attendant named Dennis. He said to check all four tires there will be $ 10.60 per tire. Had to leave without any service.
Ridiculous explanation from the management makes no sense at all. Another company helped me fix the issue for zero dollars as there was simply air leak from one of the tires. Imagine paying more than $ 40 to Mac’s as if dollars are grown on trees

Convenient, fast, reasonably priced! Went in midday with a slow leak in tire — no appointment, no line. Done in less than 15 minutes, $ 15. Will definitely be back!

I LOVE MAC’S TIRES!!! I have been going to Mac’s for maybe the past 2 – 3 yrs now and they have made my life 10x better… I am so clueless whrn it comes to tires and no matter who I get I always get THEE BEST SERVICE! I just left there and Amy (receptionist) and Johnny (service guy) hooked me up in like 10 mins maybe less… and they are open 24hrs yea i dont know who could beat that!!! Yall please go to Mac’s for any tire service… its gonna né the best blessing you will get!!!

Excellent– I called this AM, they confirmed they had the correct tire in stock for both new and used. Towed over and there were several cars ahead, but they offered their waiting room with free wifi.
BONUS– I bought the Unilocal discount offer and was able to use it today as well, saving myself $ 15. I was also impressed with their evaluation of other customers more complex needs– both working with their insurance companies as well as advising a customer that they did not need to spend the money on new tires.
Would happily recommend and return as needed! (And with three flat tires in one month bc of all the construction by Navy Yard, likelihood is high …)

After hitting an infamous DC metal curb at 7PM, and a frantic call to AAA– I was ceremoniously towed to this little 24-​hour shop on a Thursday evening. I have to say that for a shop that literally is a driveway, it was I credibly efficient!
I was in and out with a NEW tire in 30 minutes. This shop is definitely a «no frills» place, but they are good at what they do.
Important to know: they only take credit card if you have your ID (not a problem for most people I assume), they are open 24 hours, and it literally is a one lane driveway, so if your car is in the «middle» so to speak, you’ll have to wait.
I only had a tire repaired, but from what I can gather they do pretty much everything. Thanks Macs!

I came in here with a leaky tire and the service was friendly and affordable. The only downside is if you get caught behind another car in the garage, you’re stuck there until their repair is done too. I know there’s really nothing they can do about it because of the way the building is built, but something to keep in mind. Would definitely recommend if you’re around H St NE and need a flat fixed or your air checked!

Beware of improper flat repair! I went to this shop because I figured they were experts since all they did was tire repair, and their website clearly stated that they follow Rubber Manufacturer’s Association (RMA) guidelines of using a plug and patch. When I arrived, the technician told me they never inspect inside the tire for damage and never use an inside patch, only an external plug. When I pointed out that website said they do, he said he is aware but doesn’t know why it says that. The RMA states that «a plug by itself is an unacceptable repair».

Good tire shop! I don’t recommend going during the evening time 5 – 7 PM as the line can get pretty crazy outside. We ordered tires through them, their price made a lot of sense after I checked online to compare. Got the tires in 3 days, very quick service ! They are also open 7 days a week 24 hr a day which is awesome ! I’d definetly be back! I don’t usually have a good experience in tire shops…

Cheap and fast. We went and had our tire patched and they fixed us right up. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the guy working on our tire basically yelled at us to roll down our window after yelling at us to stay where we were and rolling his eyes at us. So yeah, they could use some work on the service aspect but really for the efficiency and price, it was still a great place. I’d imagine that they probably are a life saver to lots of folks considering they are open ²⁴⁄₇. I’d highly recommend this place!

If you are looking for a quick reliable repair shop to patch up and repair a flat tire, Mac’s Tire Service is the place to go. I was in an out of the shop in about 15 minutes, and the price was very reasonable. I paid $ 20.80 total with taxes included to have one flat tire repaired from start to finish.
Also don’t be scared to just drive right into the shop. I looped around and was looking for a parking lot, but you literally just drive into a single lane driveway where they do all the work and you drive right on out.
Also hopefully this never happens to anyone but even if you get a flat at 3AM the shop is open 24 hours!

Basically everything you need from a tire repair shop. It’s open 24/​7, cheap, and reliable. Have had a few patches done here and was around $ 20 – 30 each. That beats the hec out of replacing all four tires, which is what the dealer wanted to do. They also do replacements and alignments for a reasonable price. Mechanics were friendly, and worked for the cheapest solution. Waiting room is clean and decent enough — it is a ²⁴⁄₇ tire place after all. If you bust a flat, don’t think, just go here if you’re in the District. Really a lifesaver.

Always reliable, always. Since I’ve been living in the district, I’ve ridden on my share of pot hole filled streets. Yesterday was my 3^rd visit in the last 6+ years.
I had a slow leak in one of my rear tires. A technician immediately removed the tire and found the huge nail that was causing my problems. It only took 15 minutes for him to plug the tire then double and triple check it for any other issues. He also gave me an estimate of how long it would be before needing new tires.
The cashier, who was very pleasant and helpful, was ready for me to checkout before I even reached the window. $ 17 later and I was on my way. While I’ve never purchased tires here, it would be my first choice when the time comes again.
I’m glad to know that if I ever need tire assistance no matter the day or time, I can count on Mac’s.

I always thought this place was a drug front. I mean, who gets their tires changed at 3 a.m. SURPRISE — IT’S NOT! (Unless they’re peddling something that makes you really nice and pit-​crew speedy with a couple of tire jacks.)
I called in the morning to get a quote for a new set of tires for my Mini Cooper. I went from query call, to immediate service arrival, to four new tires that were already in stock, to back on my couch Unilocaling faster than you can say lug nut!
Mac’s waiting room is clean and comfortable. The mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable. Ebony in the front office is extraordinarily gracious and helpful – those fellas are lucky to have her. Plus Mac’s charged me $ 120 less than another garage on Capitol Hill quoted. WIN! I’ll definitely be back.
