Great little place! Great Sandwiches and the nicest people you’ll meet in Georgetown!

I work close enough and I heard about this little market when I was reading about ethnic grocery stores in D.C. I decided to stop by and order a sandwich. Needless to say, I was greatly impressed! Today I went for the previously-​mentioned chicken (or turkey?) and pesto panini. Wow. Unbelievably delicious and kept warm even after 35 minuets!
The sweet couple running this shop are also the nicest people ever. Since I work nearby, I will be back. Try some of the Turkish groceries (rosewater, nectars, etc.) too.

This is a great corner store right in my neighborhood. They have a great selection of different wines and the most amazing gourmet sandwiches for a great price! Smoked Salmon, Turkey, Provolone and Cranberry. They are a great family owned business!

several different sandwich choices (maybe 10), priced at 6.99 and that includes a small chips.
bread is fresh.
beer selection is weak but i guess thats to be expected so close to georgetown university.

The cutest place! I stumbled upon this little store one day while wandering in Georgetown. The items on the shelves are nothing I’ll ever be looking for because most are from foreign countries and not items I need. It looks like the owners cleaned out their pantry and put everything in their store! This adds to the charm though.
The sandwiches and paninis are amazing. Some of the best in the city. The tuna salad with apples is fantastic as is the chicken pesto panini. Definitely call in your order ahead of time as they get busy and are a little slow at making the sandwiches. The owners are great. I once called in at 6:45pm and they closed at 6:30 that day but the owner picked up and when I asked if I could still get a sandwich he said no problem, it’ll be ready in 10. He kept it open late for me!
