Does a fine job cleaning clothes at a fair price. But has a bad habit of closing early, and has pretty tight hours to begin with. I’m unable to trust that I will actually be able to get my clothes when promised due to repeated early closings.

Headline: BESURETOGET A TICKETBEFORELEAVINGTHESTORE!!! I had become a regular here, and the lady at the front counter stopped giving me a ticket because she«knew me.» Well, as it happens, they lost a $ 100 Brooks Brothers shirt of mine and wouldn’t take responsibility. The front counter lady wouldn’t even work with me to help find a solution. She was too busy being defensive and trying to exonerate herself that she forgot about a little thing called…“Customer Service!” The bad: Terrible job at removing stains(even the obvious collar stains). Lost a $ 100 shirt. Lost a button on my suit jacket(I didn’t address this w/them. Wasn’t worth it.) Closed on weekends. No one there speaks adequate English. The good: Reasonably priced. Shirts are nicely pressed. Convenient location(for me at least).

Pros: — Close to where I live — Open at 7am(great for someone who works 8 – 6:30 daily) — Good prices for the area — Quick turnaround(usually 2 days) Cons: — Lost a button on a shirt and the wrap tie on a dress — While clothes come back neatly pressed and clean, any stains I’ve pointed out have come back without any improvement. These were easily removed by other cleaners(think mud, salad dressing, typical stains)

I am from out of town and needed a quick turn around. Very accommodating with reasonable prices.

New favorite dry cleaner in DC. Had dress shirts cleaned here for the first time earlier this week. The price was good($ 1.60 /shirt), and the service was fast. No extra charge for next day 5PM pickup, and the shop was actually early — I dropped off at 2:30PM, and picked up the next day at 4PM. The storefront is probably the cleanest I’ve visited in DC. The store went above and beyond in customer service. When I picked up my shirts having only a credit card(no cash), the shopkeeper told me to take the shirts, and to pay cash the next day.

This place is perfect for me because I work very close by. If I bring in clothes by 9AM I get them back after 430PM the same day. Can’t beat it.

Love this place! Such sweet staff and convenient to my office on 20th and L. I took a few dresses and trousers in for alterations and have been very impressed with the workmanship. Like the other reviews said, prices are very reasonable and while their hours are tricky — so long as I can go there in the work-day, there is no problem at all.

My go-to place for dry cleaning and alterations(pant-hemming, mostly). Conveniently located(for me, at least!), quick turn-around(especially on alterations) and quite reasonable prices. Good service — the hem of one leg of a pair of pants fell out, and they re-hemmed the pants for free(without even asking for a receipt to prove that they had hemmed the pants in the first place!). Plus they’re friendly. :)

Inconvenient, but super speedy, fair prices and really charming staff. Inconvenient because their hours SUCK: I think they open at 8am(maybe 7:30) and close at 6, not open weekends. For those of us that live in the neighborhood, these hours really make it tough to use Lafayette, but I think its the best option around. Super speedy: brought my clothes in on a Friday morning and had them back Monday — without asking for a rush. Clothes came back spotless and well-pressed and the bill was far more reasonable than other cleaners in the area, e.g., Lustre.
