I have been taking lessons at KOW for over 15 years. I have worked my way up from beginner to level 4⁄5. It is a wonderful place for dancers of any age. Two of my granddaughters have also taken lessons over the years. The teachers are excellent, the other students are friendly and dedicated, and it is a lot of FUN. It is rhythm tap, not show tap(I have done both and prefer rhythm tap). The end of the year showcase is low key and optional. There are no fancy costumes or performance pressure — just good fun dance routines. You can pay in advance for the session, or pay a drop-in fee. If there is a serious tapper in the family age 9 to 25, I recommend they check out Capital Tap, a tap company in residence at the studio. If you have«always wanted to learn to tap dance,» or if you already have tap experience, this is the place for you.
