This place is great! I was one of the featured artists here during one of their last gallery shows and it was an amazing experience. The curator was knowledgeable, kind and very attentive to all the gallery guests and artists. It was a big crowd that came to the show, which means that they are very involved in the community and have a big reach. This is a wonderful location to showcase Middle Eastern art and artists.

Provides a good venue for various artists who do not get a pace to exhibit their work. Friendly staff and I enjoy the receptions they hold for various painters and showmen. Middle Eastern artists as well as Islamic art get the lion share of the floor. Get on their mailing list to get the updates, that’s how I keep up.

The Jerusalem Fund that houses the gallery is a non profit org, but as I discovered when I visited — not a political organization. The organization encompasses people and cultures from varied Middle Eastern backgrounds such as Palestine and Iraq. This building is also the home for the Palestine Center, which is a think tank which basically communicates the Palestinian point of view to the policymakers. With the situation in the part of the world going on now, this organization and gallery is becoming very informative and eye opening. At the gallery, there are events going on monthly such as book talks; art exhibits; Arabic calligraphy and receptions. Their website contains some really interesting articles, too.
