I ordered a 10 inch veggie pizza, which took over a half hour. Barely any veggies. Just a scattering of a few artichoke hearts, some peppers. Too much crust. The staff was rude despite being late with my food. Terrible experience.

Just okay. Overpriced for the quality. Plenty of better options around the area. Cheesesteak was nothing special. Not a ton of meat.

I stopped here after happy hour to get a bite, and was skeptical at first because I only saw one customer – but figure it’s got a bigger lunch crowd. Everything was clean, service was prompt even though it seemed they only had 2 – 3 people working. I was pleasantly surprised that they also offer a small retail wall of italian market items, from imported pasta and olive oil to sweets. If you’ve ever tried to get through Whole Foods downtown just for dinner ideas that night – it’s worth it for that small concession alone. I ordered a meatball sub, they do give you roll options which is nice; bread was good, fresh. Meatballs also good because I could tell they were not the standard 98% filler like Subway, came with sweet peppers and provolone. Good selection chips and beverages; definitely worth another visit, especially for lunch. Is it A. Litteri’s? NO. But it’s not trying to be either. For what it is(a fast casual place), where it is(across the street from Potbelly and Subway,) can’t beat it.

I knew what to expect & I got it. Decent made to order deli shop for decent quick food. I usually go for breakfast.

This is the BEST place for lunch. I eat there 2 – 3 times a week. Pizza and subs are A-rated. The prices are really reasonable for what you get. Love this place.

Needed to grab a healthy option quick so I picked up one of their tossed side salads and a water. Nearly $ 9 later I get back to my office only to find the salad is wilted, rusty, and probably was made yesterday. Guy that checked me out at the register was super rude and unhelpful and rushed me through deciding on my dressing even though I was the only person in line. Unimpressed. Will just grab something quick from PAUL next time and I bet even that will be cheaper.

This place is across the street from my office, so I was thrilled to try it out when I started working there. Well, I have tried it out three times and each experience became worse than the last. I am sorry I went to that extreme. The restaurant is filthy. Tables dirty, garbage overflowing on each visit. Staff is very rude. I pride myself on being very kind to food service workers as I have been in the business for many years and they obviously are rude to just anyone that darkens their door. As for the food, I am not impressed. The pizza is tasteless and pure grease(I tried it twice), the philly cheesesteak was mediocre at best. I will not go there again and I am quite surprised they have the business they do. There are so many great lunch places in this area and this is by far the three worst experiences I have had. Such a shame.

Pretty bummed. The restaurant was dirty. Every table to sit down on was covered in oil, soda, and crumbs. There were napkins left on the floor. The cheese slice I got had bland boring crust. I was in a rush to grab a quick bite during lunch and it was speedy. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Clean up your restaurant!

Seems like a solid lunch option to have in the area. They have a few vegetarian options, which I always appreciate seeing, and are pretty reasonably priced. I came here on the recommendation of a coworker when I told him I had a craving for french fries. The fries they serve come seasoned — which wasn’t clear to me from the menu, but they had some sort of old bay-style seasoning. I also had the caprese sandwich — I did not get a discernible basil flavor, and it was much more mozzarella heavy than tomato, but it was a substantial and decent quality sandwich for the price. The pizza also looks good, and my coworkers speak highly of the other sandwiches. They also have an extensive collection of junk food and treats to purchase — including two things I love and can’t usually find in DC: Berger cookies, and Kinder Bueno bars.

After a long day of walking 7 miles around the area, I was in need of so some major grub. It’s a nice deli to rest my poor dogs. The menu and more than plenty to select from for your growling tummy. I went for the chicken pesto sandwich, oh so yummy. Knowing pesto is a more expensive ingredient because of the pine nut, this place did not short change me on pesto sauce. I KNEW with every bite what I ordered. The chicken was cooked to be soft, obviously not sitting out for awhile. The panini break was nice and grilled just enough, no rock hard bread here. I would recommend coming here for lunch or a quick bite.

Freshly made food and fast, friendly service. Don’t see why it isn’t a five star. They offer breakfast and entrees for lunch and dinner, even beers. If you live around the area it’s a great place to stop by to have a couple of drinks and watch sports on their big projector screen.

First off let me just say that I really wanted this review to be good… But, it’s just«ok». It gets 2 stars for the guy who took my order. He was nice.. Didn’t have to wait long at all. The food/coffee on the other hand. I could’ve kept my $ 8 and went to Robeks like I was initially going to… I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while, just never did. I was on my way to get my usual morning smoothie when I decided that since I’d already skipped my morning workout, I’d be bad all the way and eat real food for breakfast. I wish I hadn’t… I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on wheat toast and a small cappuccino. The sandwich looked sooo good. Whatever cheese they used was nice and gooey, so I was a little excited at first. Until I actually bit into it… Tasteless. Like literally, no taste. I ended up having to put salt and pepper on it. I’ve worked in this area for about 5 years and I’ve probably had hundreds of BEC sandwiches from different places. This spot needs to step their game up if their going to stay around. Now on to this cappuccino… I mean my half cup of cappuccino… Like seriously? Again, worked around here for quite some time, had hundreds of cups of coffee and NEVER and I do mean NEVER have I gotten jipped like this before… It wasn’t like the coffee tasted fresh or anything either… Ended up coming back to my office, scooping out the foam and adding coffee from my office, cream and sugar.

Their potato salad is okay. Loved their tuna melt. The customer service was meh but it may have been due to some confusion either because the employee serving me was either new or wasn’t fluent in English.

I’ve only had their sandwiches, but they impress me. Good ingredients, good bread, speedy service and good prices. If you want an italian hoagie for lunch, this is the place to go.

Subs and sandwiches are very good, but not great. I like the chicken philly and Italian sub. Pizza is HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time or money on it. Looked like crap, tasted worse. It was so bad I asked for a refund, which is something I rarely do.

I’ve watched this place for months as it was prepping to open and this is one of those instances where«good things come to those who wait» did not occur. The food was mediocre and the service was slow as molasses. The one plus side was that their cookies are giangantic and delicious.

I waited for this spot to open for months… I felt like the sign was up advertising for ever! So the day it opened I went for it. But left and came back a few days later because apparently I wasn’t the only one dying to try it out. Anyway — the wait was wild and I wasn’t exactly pleased. Even though this is about a block from my office, I feel that they are overpriced in comparison to other locations in the area and it’s not exactly worth it. The sandwiches are pretty basic and the portions are nothing to brag about — not worth what you’ll pay(or wait for). Honestly I rather go across the street to Subway for half the money and get what I want. I had their Italian Wedding Soup. It was ok — again, price vs. portion + quality — not that much to motivate me to do it again. Lo siento — but I don’t recommend.
