Came in with a tour group. Service was prompt and food plentiful. Average quality for fast food pizza and salad.

Fuel Pizza is the Bomb! And by the Bomb, I mean that my pizza looked like a bomb went off inside the box! Hahahaha! I’m hilarious. Anyways, they gave me another free pizza that was just as hilarious looking. Pizza didn’t taste half bad, so that was tight. Colldawgy over and out.

Came to DC for the day to celebrate my birthday and needed a quick bite and decided to stop here. When I initially looked it up I didn’t expect much

Great little place. In the heart of the city. Great little pit stop. Only giving 4 stars bc it’s not the best pizza I’ve had but if you’re looking for a quick stop and a beer with a couple of selections for slices it’s a five star. Enjoy.

So disappointed… We were lured in by the name and the cool automotive décor and let down hard. This place is the definition of «meh». The boneless wings are mushy, the calzones are open-faced French bread crapola and they are mediocre at best. All of the sodas we had were flat. The pizza is okay. But nothing to write home about. Save your money. Don’t come here. :(

Fast friendly service. Very courteous staff. Was pleasantly surprised that even with a private party upstairs how fast we were served. Had pizza and crispy wings. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Very good pizza for a dive joint. We we looking for pizza and passed on this place originally since we really were not looking for a dive. However, this dive has a good bee selection, including Smuttynose IPA on tap. We had a white pizza with custom toppings and were impressed the person taking the order made sure they understood our weird request. If you looking for really good pizza cheap along with a cold brew in Downtown DC, give Fuel a try.

I originally tried ordering from here about two years during the Men’s World Cup. After placing the order and payment processing, they evidently were overwhelmed with orders, didn’t answer their phones and locked their doors. We never received our food. I tried them again today by placing my order yesterday online and selecting a time for delivery. Called this morning to confirm, was told it would be on time and, alas, it was 30 minutes late, cold, the delivery man had to return with the side of marinara we ordered and the dressing for the wings were never delivered. The only good part was the delivery man was sweet.

Brutal. The pie is average to below average for the price, but the service was horrendous. Thursday night, 7:30ish, – not busy – . After 40 minutes and 4 pies going upstairs to a student group that came in 20 minutes after me, I finally gave up and inquired, «uh any chance I’m going to get my order tonight»? 10 minutes later I’m handed a to-go box with a mostly cold pie and a half-hearted«sorry, I guess we got it mixed up». Find another place and save yourself the stress…

We were staying at the Hyatt Place just down the street and kept passing by so we figured we give it a try despite some bad reviews. My husband walked over there and placed the order; the employee was a little annoyed with the party in front of my husband and it was time for her to leave so she took his order but didn’t put it in. He ended up waiting an insane amount of time, even after checking on the status multiple times, BUT the pizza was soooo good. We also ordered the cinnamon knots and they forgot the icing. At the end of day, I’d still recommend this place– the pizza was delicious!

Sunday night, 9pm. Stopped in for a slice. Two people working behind the counter saw me, knew I was obviously waiting to order, stood in the back of the kitchen area talking to each other. I waitied for about 3 min as they stood there talking to each other, purposefully not making eye contact with me, the guy sipping on a drink, and not taking my order. I left.

This place is the absolute worst, I ordered a pizza and Aquafina water online and had it delivered about a half mile away. I received a cold pizza and a $.25 bottle of water. I called to resolve the water not being Aquafina as my order stated and was passed around to a few people. These are people who should not have jobs, as they the complain about minimum wage but they are bad at what they do. Anyways I got the manager supposedly, Daryl, he was very rude just hung up on me and didn’t care to resolve the issue. Pizza is Mediocre, but combined with the worst service ever make this the worst pizza joint ever. Most places are ran by Mexicans where I am from and they work hard and deserve raises. Unlike the kind at this place. Do not go not his place as the employees are horrible.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for some late night pizza. There wasn’t too much left at 12ish at night, but hey we weren’t picky. Two hot pepperoni slices hit the spot, covered with copious parmesan, oregano, and hot pepper flakes. Fuel Pizza isn’t the pizza place we asked for, but it’s the one we needed.

I go to this spot more times than I would prefer(probably 3 to 4 times a month) but it’s a good mid-way point for me to visit with friends. Plus, it is not too crowded, spacious, and decently priced. That’s basically why I go. As far as the food, it’s so-so. The pizza, which I normally order, has a bit of a strong aftertaste(as in if you’ve eaten it for lunch, you may still be tasting it hours later). I attribute this to the sauce which is kind of heavy tasting, in my opinion. The place has problems which seem to get worse with each visit. Sometimes ordering and then getting your slice or slices takes a small eternity, even though this seems to be a place where the pizza slice is the most sold food item. On recent visits, the soda fountains have been out of syrup. Cleanliness is also lacking at times. There used to be a manager(or maybe it was the owner) that I’d see from time to time checking on the place in the months after this location opened. I haven’t seen him around in some time. Some additional visits on site might help.

Well this was a let down. My coworkers and I decided to take a long lunch break and trek from L’Enfant Plaza to K Street on a nice warm fall day. We ended up dining here and I can’t say it was worth it. We all opted to get one of their combo meals since it was the best value. I opted for their combo with 1 slice of pepperoni pizza, 5 wings and 1 drink coming up to ~$ 10. For the wings you choose from a variety of sauces, either boneless or original, and blue cheese or ranch dressing. I went with the lemon and pepper sauce and it did not taste like lemon or pepper. In actuality it tasted like your traditional buffalo wing. The slice of pizza was decently sized but it was extremely greasy(puddles of grease on top of my slice). The service here is average. If you are looking for good pizza or buffalo wings plenty of other places do it better. I would recommend looking elsewhere to satiate those cravings.

Price of combo was okay. But wing took about good 20+ minutes to make. Medium buffalo sauce was very sour. Food just okay. Good thing it was close to Hilton. I would not recommend this place.

My pizza-obsessed teenage son picked this place. We reluctantly agreed. Very pleasantly surprised. Chicken tenders were delicious: crisp crust, tender and very flavorful. We got a half & half large pie. ½ pepperoni, ½ chicken pesto. It was the perfect size pie for 3 people. It was delicious. Pesto chicken pizza was perfectly balanced. Efficient, courteous service. Nice and clean place.

GAR-BAGE! First off we got off to a bad start right off the bat with the rude minimum wage makin’ chic who answered the phone. First you answer the phone tons of background noise, you say nothing, I’m the one saying«hello, hello». Then you address me on the phone, you don’t hear my order and you say«what?» Maybe I was raised differently but«what» is not how you address a customer try something like«I’m sorry can you repeat that». With that attitude you’ll be working at Fuel for years to come. I wouldn’t hire you to clean the dirt off my rims. Can you tell I’m angry about this experience? But whatever right… you can’t go to McDonalds and expect quality customer service when they’re paying people $ 8/hr or whatever the hell. I guess fuel is no different. Then I get a call back«we don’t have any more coke». What the f… who the f… UGH! Who doesn’t have coke are you kidding me right now? I think she said something like all we have is Sierra Mist. Some bull like that, who the HELL drinks Sierra Mist? I say bring me a bottled water instead. So when the pizza finally arrives(of course forever and a day later). Look I haven’t been working in DC long I’m sure some delivery people actually ride bikes or something because parking would be a pain. But I swear to god I think this dude walked the pizza to my office. He was sweaty the pizza wasn’t in one of those bags to keep it hot. His outfit looked like he was about to head over to the metro and crank some go-go with the rest of the kids not deliver pizza. So after I tolerated your retard of an order-taker, you bring me some cold pizza! The pizza was cold! Literally. Tasted like shyyyttt! The water bottle was a small water bottle and that wasn’t cold. Even warmed up this had to be some of the most pathetic pizza ever. For this crap you might as well order Dominos. I was so pissed I swear I was ready to call back and ask for a refund. But judging by the person answering the phone that would have been more time out of my life talking to some high school drop out. Like I’m really angry about this whole experience! All I wanted was some lunch time pizza. lol. How they managed to open up several restaurants in the area is beyond me. I guess it’s like that pizza joint in the Adams Morgan area. They give you those jumbo slices after you leave the club f… up. And no matter what it always seems to taste good until you try it sober and realize it’s garbage. Maybe that’s how this place stays in business. Taking advantage of the drunken party scene and silly tourists. Then again they got me once! Never again! Go get some real Pizza. Pizza Studio and &Pizza are great if you want something different, fancy, lots of toppings. Wise Guys pizza is the best for your NY style pizza fix.

Not a fan of this place. They use 1 of those moving oven just like in Quiznos. Yeah sure, your pizza’ll be done in 3 minutes, but it’ll also be lower quality pizza. BBQ Chicken(9sh) — Not impressed. Taste like those Red Barron’s pre-frozen pizza that you can get in Safeway/Giants lol. The portion’s quite small too. I’d rather get a real traditional pizza in restaurants for a few bucks more.
