I have eaten here twice and it has been very good and vegetables are fresh! Reasonable prices! Wish they delivered…

I have been eatin this place since my start at Howard in 2012, and have had no issues. Recently, however, i got food poisoning from Shrimp LoMein. And have since been hospitalized 3 times for worsening health problems as a result of the contamination. Would give ZERO stars if i could. AVOIDHERE!!!

Pretty good combination fried rice, the shrimp was very fresh, served very hot. This joint is for take out only, it had two tables but has no bathroom open for customers. The lady in front of the counter could learn some manners too, still 4 stars because the food was very good.

They say you can call in but they don’t start making it until you get there. 2 stars because it’s hard to mess up Chinese food

This place is awful! I had a greasy craving so decided to come in for just french fries. When I walked in the cashier/fry cook was sweeping. Once she finished she RINSED her hands at the sink. There is soap and paper towels there but she wiped her hands on her pants. I was done. No thank you China Wonder! If that’s what you do in front my face, no clue what they will do behind closed doors

China«How you’re still in freakin’ business?» Wonder. Chicken wings are the size of 20oz water bottles. We’re not talking about a quarter piece of chicken. We’re talking about a single wing! Can you say, «pumped up with hormones?» Every night I leave school late I see the guy mop the floor. So, obviously they’re cleaning up. It just doesn’t look like it. Used to eat the jumbo shrimp and fries until… well you know, got tired of having to de-vein those little suckers. Best thing on the menu is the Sweet Tea Mix. Get a large and get out of dodge.

China Wonder saved my life when I was in grad school. Literally saved my life with their delicious Shrimp and Broccoli. I would eat it for two or three days. It was so delicious and affordable no matter how broke I was. Their fried wings with mambo sauce scare me though. Never saw wings so big in my life! Avoid at all costs! Usually very busy, especially when school is in session.

American chinese food is the other version name of china wonder. RIght accross mcdonals on gerogia avenue. This place has everything on the menu from burger; gyro; chicken; hot dog u name it. it is to me just another american eatery with a chinese twist. lol so Nothing on the menu is chinese maybe the fried rice. The food is ok and the price is reasonnable. Budget food for a student cause they are right by HU. The chicken wings are crispy and quite good with some hot sauce.

So if you’ve read my other reviews, you’d know that I only go to places with great food… China Wonder is another one of those places. They have THEABSOLUTEBEST Shrimp & Broccoli in Washington, DC. When I say the best, I mean THEBEST! I’m talking melt in your mouth good. I’m talking even if it’s scolding hot, you sacrifice your mouth good. I think you get the point. It borders Howard University and as a student there, I swear I ate there at least 3 times a week. It’s that good! And you know I had to check out the Wings & Fries there! Wings & Fries are a staple at east coast Chinese Carry-Outs. They’re good, but I’d recommend they seasoned fries. Like the Shrimp & Broccoli, they melt in your mouth. Damn, I miss being a student. I think I have to go after work!
