The show was really fun! Mark and Brian gave a great magic show and involved the audience in a lot of the acts as well. They had a terrific sense of humor, and the evening was lighthearted and enjoyable. Even my husband and father-in-law who know a lot about magic were surprised/intrigued by some of the magic and how it was done. The show lasted a little over an hour and a half. I found out about the show from LivingSocial, and I would definitely recommend checking«Catch Me: A Magic Duel» out!

Was at the horseshoe casino last night in Baltimore. The show was great and the crowd interaction was fun not forced which made me excited that they may ask me to play along instead of other performer’s show which u fear to be called. Once again thank u

THEYMAKEANELEPHANTDISAPPEAR!!! Okay, no; that was Houdini in 1918. What Brian Curry and Mark Phillips, the dueling magicians-cum-comedians of CATCHME, offer is a fast-paced, mesmerizing kaleidoscope of parlor magic and patter: They are not only masters of sleight-of-hand, card tricks, and mentalism, but first-rate Snarxists as well, peppering their trickery with sassy, snarky witticisms. Which brings me back to their idol, Houdini, who once said of his own on-stage commentary, «[I]t must be funny, as they laugh, as if I were doing a monologue act.» Curry and Phillips are a spicy, spiffy, splendid dialogue act; CATCHTHEM!

A magic show combined with comedy — what could be better than that? Mark and Brian are comical and wow the crowd with their show. The venue(The Mayflower Hotel) is great and adds to the show! The show is spectacular and makes for a perfect birthday night out, date night, girls night out or anything! I highly recommend this show for a night of laughs and fun!

I would probably go to this show every weekend if they had it. A magic duel between two talented magicians while they hilariously continued to insult each other during the show. With the flawless magic and the chemistry between the two, it made for an unforgettable night. It’s also a plus that their show is at the Mayflower, arguably one of the most beautiful hotels in the city. Will be coming again for sure!

Catch Me was a great magic show with two magicians competing against each other. Their performance was flawless and funny to boot! I highly recommend that you attend. We saw the show at The Mayflower Hotel, which added to the setting. You can bring drinks to the performance from the lobby bar and enjoy and great show. Bring your family or a date and prepare to be amazed at their performance.

So much fun, I had a grin on my face the entire night. Highly recommended for a date night, or fun with friends. The magic was great, but so were the jokes and witty banter. Brian and Will are super talented and fantastic. Easy location off the metro, and you can bring down drinks from the bar. Can’t say enough, go see for yourself how fun it is.

The magic show was very entertaining. I’m really puzzled how they did a lot of the magic tricks. I highly recommended anyone with the slightest bit of interest in magic to check out these magicians.

Great show! Some of the jokes and tricks are cheesy, but very well delivered which made them good. I also liked that they got the audience involved throughout the entire show. I would totally recommend this to anyone!

My bf surprised me with tickets to see this magic show so I really had no idea to expect. All I knew was that would be a magic show, but we got way more! Brian and Mark are witty entertainers who really know how to wow a crowd with their magic tricks. I don’t want to give too much away about the show and the back story, but they really engage the audience and include audience members in their jokes; half the the fun is their playful banter and humor. At intermission, Brian and Mark perform fun magic tricks right in front of you. Great for date night or a night out with friends. Also as a bonus, discounted tickets can be found on LivingSocial!

i love magic(who doesn’t?!) and finding a magic show in this area harder than you think! i was really excited to find«catch me» and it just so happened to fall on my friend’s birthday weekend. we booked VIP/front row tickets via goldstar. they were a great price($ 40) and totally worth it. i think paying full price would have been a bit much though. i only say this because i was sitting so close i could see a few slip ups :) besides that i was pretty mind blown. the magic show is currently held in a ballroom at the mayflower hotel. the hotel parking is pricey but there is a garage around the corner that isn’t so bad($ 20). the hotel is pretty and the entire experience is a nice little fancy treat. brian and mark are entertaining and funny. they literally duel it out and trash talk in three rounds with their magic and you can vote for the winner during intermission they finish the show working together. there is a lot of audience participation, especially for the birthday girl. they do some magic up close during intermission but it was really hard to see with so many people and i missed all it. i wish they could both do small groups at the same time to divide up the crowd. we had a great time and now i signed up with my email to be notified for more magic shows!

Expected quality magic and was not disappointed in the least. Did not expect such clever humor and an overall fun experience. Great venue, and the guys were available to chat informally, too!

Fantastic. Highly entertaining(interactive, funny, and dare I say — magical.) We are visiting from California, where we love going to Magic Castle in LA. Mark and Chris are both so so talented. Really glad they got a convenient-to-Dupont spot at the Mayflower Hotel.

It was amusing and fun but way too expensive. It was basically $ 50 for a 45 minute performance. While the show was one half comedy and also magic, it left me wanting more. If you can get the tickets for a discount then you should check I say check it out, otherwise, a movie or show would be better.

Very entertaining experience! 10PM show time is great because my friends and I were able to catch dinner before in Adams Morgan, and just walk over to Maison Biltmore. It was very interactive — the magicians tried to pull a lot of audience members into the show. Venue was small, which created a more intimate atmosphere. Part of the fun was trying to guess the secret behind the tricks. Tip: Get to the show 30 – 45 minutes beforehand in order to grab a good seat since it’s open seating. This is especially true if you are in a larger group and want to sit together.

If you’re looking for a fun night out, this show is the bomb. Forget sticky bars and douchebags; AdMo just got way more magical. My colleagues and I attended the Friday show, and Brian and Mark did not disappoint. There were cheesy jokes, dirty jokes, bewildering tricks, and a buttload of laughs. I forget the last time I laughed that hard– and there was a wide demographic of audience members, too! From a thirteen-year old to a couple that had been married nearly 50 years, all guests were eligible volunteers for the show. In the words of my boyfriend, «Those guys were great!!! But I think the voting was rigged because Brian’s the best!» Yeah, you get to vote for your favorite magician. It’s a hilarious set up. And really, everyone wins. Especially if you happen to be in an audience with a hilarious bald German man who really takes the jokes in stride when pressed. As of today, there are 2 more shows: Nov 14 and Nov 15. Tickets are $ 25; hop to it!
