Staff were kind and helpful, froyo was on point — and your creativity can lead you to the best combo of toppings. Sitting at the window will be your favorite view of Tenleytown!

This place sells bottom tier level fro yo y’all. Don’t come here expecting to actually enjoy a fat free«dessert.»

This place is solid. Maybe lacking a tad in basic flavor selection and fresh fruit, but it seems like they cycle things regularly enough for it to not be an issue.

It wasn’t a bad choice. The décor is so much fun and very bright. The froyo is not all that much to write home about. It seemed a little loose and runny. Not how you’d like froyo or any ice cream rather to be. I enjoyed the toppings a lot.

Great flavor variety, delicious taste, and tons of toppings to choose from! Very cute ambiance inside also.

Self-serve yogurt is pretty much the key to my heart, and Bloo Moo really takes it to another level. To put it very simply: so many flavors, so many toppings, so affordable, SO great. Plus like, YOGURT = healthy, right? Please– nobody ruin this for me, I am perfectly happy living in my caloric delusion. The interior of the store is adorable — white tile behind all of the dispensers makes everything look clean and modern, and the décor and furniture(including the cutest kiddie tables and chairs) are a welcome departure from the standard pink-and-green FroYo theme. Bloo Moo is right by the Tenleytown metro and on all of the 30 bus lines, so it’s very accessible! Truly the perfect summer treat — I look forward to treating myself on the reg.

Froyo is a staple in my diet. I can indulge my cavity-ridden sweet tooth without feeling extremely guilty. This is one of my favorite places to get froyo in DC! Blue Moo gives you the best aspects of the froyo experience, in my opinion. There are TONS of yogurt flavor, and each indicates the nutrition information(as a lady, I want to know just how many calories are in my XXL cup!) Flavors are rotated often. You will find your typical vanilla and chocolate, with exciting flavors such as eggnog, cake batter, NY cheesecake, snicker doodle, strawberry, pomegranate, and red velvet in the mix. Their topping selection is ONPOINT. Cheesecake chunks, cookie dough balls, explosive boba balls in multiple flavors, gummies, sprinkles, every type of candy, coconut shreds, and chocolate, honey, and caramel sauce. You also get to pick your own spoon color – the little things really count for me. The atmosphere is nice. There are tons of tables, the store is kept VERY clean, and the location is easy to find parking around. The ONLY reason I can’t give 5 stars is because more than once a specific bleach-blond employee was very crazy. One particular evening, two friends and I were there eating, along with a handful of other patrons. At 9:55, the girl flips off the light, turns off the music, goes to the front door, slams it open and yells«WE’RECLOSED!» Dang girl. I figure she was in a hurry to get to her high school boyfriend’s house or something, but everyone in the store was like WHOA. I’ll be back, but tread lightly when bleachy is working!

If I could give this place a 3.5 I would. I would probably go to this froyo place over others but I can’t justify giving a standard froyo place 4 stars. This froyo place is definitely a go to if you are in the tenleytown area! My friends and I stopped by here today and we were all satisfied. They charge by weight not per topic so that is a plus! Try the chocolate and banana mixed. Mmm

Lots of great flavors(10+) and toppings(20+) ! Very big store with a lot of seating. I really liked this place, and would pick it over any other froyo shop I’ve been to in the area. Only downfall is that it isn’t in a very exciting area and there’s no outdoor seating. Flavors that stood out to me — cookies ‘n cream, peanut butter, caramel macchiato, thin mint Toppings that stood out — cookie dough, cheesecake balls, brownie chunks, boba

49 cents an ounce! Not the most innovative froyo flavors, but this place definitely wins for having the cleanest, brightest, and largest space. It’s the type of place I could have hung out at for a while. With that cleanliness comes better-looking toppings. This place stands apart in my mind, for sure.

They’ve got a pretty wide variety of toppings, as well as a nice assortment of flavors that isn’t as fruit-heavy as most froyo places. I appreciate the fact that they offer a(pretty good) coffee froyo, and the thin mint flavor is particularly inspired. Also, if their nutrition info is accurate, I believe their yogurt is even less calorie-intensive than comparable places like FrozenYo, so you can eat more of it(unless the price gets to you).

It’s another froyo place. I wish I could say that this was different from the rest of them. They have a wide selection of froyo and topping options and charge .49 cents an ounce. They fill up fast. The place is fairly sizable for seating, and they have a kid’s nook for the youngins to sit away from the rest of everyone else. Other than that, it is alright tasting. Sort of thick for froyo, but nonetheless tasty.

Tried this place out the other night when it was 17383 degrees outside and I was craving something yummy, sweet, and frozen! Its right around the corner from work so its definitely walk-able… but given the heat wave we opted to drive this time around. I really liked the flavor selection. Flavors I have not seen before like red velvet and thin mint! I also liked that they had a sorbet flavor. i didnt have any, but its a nice option if you are looking for something lighter. I LOVED the topping choices. especially the cheesecake bites! Definitely a welcome addition to my work neighborhood!

While I find it a little suspect that pricing isn’t clear here, it was alright. Natually I’m inclined to say I’ve had better(and Pinkberry will always win, hands down), but the location is great and they’ve got a good mix of froyo flavor choices and toppings. I always trust a place to be decent when there’s mochi involved. Mochi or bust.

I can’t endorse the recommendation of this place, especially when there are a proliferation of options for frozen yogurt that are decidedly better. It’s icy and super(fakey) sweet. Not creamy and delicious. The flavor offerings were equally not impressive. The fruit toppings weren’t ripe(but it was winter when practically nothing is in season), but even the crunchier toppings weren’t satisfactory. I’ll go the extra mile down Wisconsin Ave for my yogurt.

I really enjoyed Bloo Moo yogurt. They have some interesting flavors and toppings. As a long time Yogi Berry fan, I would say Bloo Moo gives their own style to their yogurt joint(which is nice!) There were about 10 different flavors– I really liked the cake batter. The topping selection was great– fruit, chocolate, brownie pieces, mochi. you name it! The atmosphere was also cool– trendy like most yogurt places but not obnoxious. Even if the furniture was from Ikea, I know someone went through a lot of trouble to build it. And personally, I would not want to spend money on nice furniture that people are going to get yogurt and sprinkles gummed on anyway. 3.5 stars is my final verdict. I am rounding up to four stars because the selection is good enough where everyone can find something they like in terms of yogurt flavors and toppings. I wish the flavors were a little tastier and perhaps more fruity-yogurt options.

I stopped by here after visiting the container store across the street. I like how they have sample cups, although I wasn’t a fan of all of the flavors honestly. The pistachio in particular tasted super artificial. Also, I’m not sure how much they charge per ounce, but I didn’t think I got a lot(my cup was maybe filled ½ way, and it cost about $ 5 so it’s a little pricier than what I’m used to from self-serve yogurt places in california.

Blue Moo finally opened! I feel like there are only 4 great«known quantities» in food happiness: Beer, Tacos, Burgers, and Froyo. If I’m stranded on a deserted island… these things could sustain me, indefinitely. Blue Moo is the pinnacle, the nirvana… the ALPHAANDOMEGA of Froyo. First, they have a dozen flavors, easily surpassing the total at my previous love, Yogi Berry. The flavors feature some unique selections, such as Thin Mint, Red Velvet, and Red Grapefruit. The toppings were also full of the usual selections, with some fun new varieties.(I love the gummy mochi… interesting texture for froyo) This act is going to be difficult to top.
