My friend and I both had the trofie. We liked it a lot and agreed that it was seasoned perfectly. Furthermore, it was a good portion of food. As for the service, it was just average. The food took ~10 minutes to prepare, and the waiter wasn’t terribly fast.

This was my first visit to Arcuri since it first opened… I went with friends for an opening celebration 2 years ago but hadn’t returned because I worried about parking. Parking may be an issue on weekends, but I wasn able to park with no problem right across the street(free after 6) on an week night. Pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had! Happy hour specials go to 7:30…I guess Arcuri recognizes that Happy Hours that end at 7 probably eliminates many young DC professionals from being able to enjoy the specials.

saw this place on a best pizza list for DC so had to check it out. glad I went so I can check it off my list but I doubt I’ll ever make it back. the pizza is fine but very typical. instead of making the trek up wisconsin, might as well go to pizzeria paradisio or if you’re committed to pizza, continue your journey up the road and go to two amys.

I love this place! It has an amazing cheers vibe at the bar where everybody knows everybody and it’s because the bartender introduces everybody to everybody. The drinks also were on point and the food is amazing we had pizza and kale chips before as a snack. The pasta we had the first time we went is was so good like a lamb ragu ahh so good. Definitely try this place for a great dinner and conversation.

We had a reservation for a large party(15 – 20 people) for a friend’s birthday. Service was good and reasonably fast. We tried all the appetizers, numerous pizzas and a fair number of pastas and thought the food was mediocre. Not memorable, but decent. Wine was reasonably priced. Tip: If you check-in here, you get 10% off your food order.

We went there on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. My husband ordered the smokey pizza which he liked but careful, if you are not a meet lover it can be hard for you to enjoy. I ordered the pesto pasta that was mediocre. The blend of potatoes with pasta wasn’t my favourite. Although the meatballs on grits were amazing.

Have gotten food from this place on two occasions. Came here with a friend and was seated right away during dinner time. We shared the American Proscuitto Pizze which had tomato, mozzarella and arugula. This was a perfect amount for the two of us. The pizza was hot when we got it despite how busy the place was. The second time I ordered take out and got the Broccoli Rabe Pizze which had tomato, garlic, fennel sausage and chili oil. I called to order the pizza and it was ready within 10 minutes just like they estimated. Pizza perfect as last time. Friendly staff and will definitely come back.

After having dumplings at the restaurant above(see review for Dumplings & Beyond), I ordered takeout for my friend. It was also my excuse to try the lemonciello many rave about. I ordered the Smokey pizza at the bar and it was ready with 10 – 12 minutes! The friendly bartender suggested that I get the slushie lemonciello, which was great! It was cold and sweet and tasted very much like lemonciello. I do wish it was a little bit stronger since lemonciello usually has a very strong kick to it that the slushie was lacking. But I would definitely order it again! The pizza smelled heavenly with hints of smoke and meat. Upon the first bite, it was a standout. My friend said it was the best pizza he’s eaten! I would definitely come back, especially for happy hour(see happy hour menu in pics) and make sure to make use of the 10% off your order deal when you check in on Unilocal

Listen guys, I don’t usually do reviews but this place deserves it. So good, i’m flying back out to DC from Houston just to go to this restaurant again. The bolognese and pizza were the best I’ve had. So flavorful and good.

We loved it. They have children’s menu, however the meatballs are only two. we had to order an additional meal for my 7 year old. The pizzas are delicious and the cocktails too. We ate outside. We will definitely go back. And they gave us 10% off just for checking in on Unilocal

Got delivery via GrubHub. It came exactly when it said it would. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese. As someone else commented, yes the portion is small, but the pasta and sauce are clearly homemade and were outstanding in quality. I felt full after the serving, and thought it was delicious. Tempted to make the(admittedly short) trip down Wisconsin for the whole experience; would love to try their pizzas since 2 Amy’s is overpriced and mediocre in my opinion.

Just came here after doing escape room live, great pizza the quality is definitely spot on! Pros: –Fresh quality ingredients –Interesting non pizza menu choices –Pizza on par with some of the great stuff I’ve had in Italy –Wait staff attentive and friendly –One pizza easily enough for two people which makes for an affordable date night –Great atmosphere nice music that they don’t blast too loud Cons: –Pricey appetizers & relatively expensive if you every person orders something different Tip: Definitely create your own dipping sauce for the pizza ends using the provided olive oil, parmesan, pepper etc.

2 of us came for brunch on a lovely spring morning(admittedly because Town Hall was closed for unknown reasons). We were promptly seated outside, which was a nice treat. We must have come early enough(11) to not have to wait. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. They did not disappoint. At all. Best decision I made that day. Husband ordered scrambled eggs. These were disappointing. The texture was off, and there was no flavor even though it had lots of green herb flecks(which was not disclosed on the menu). The home fries were crispy but bland and also had weird texture. Service was on point and generous with coffee refills. We’ll be sure to come back for the pizza, which we’ve had before via delivery. They took over an hour to deliver 3 blocks, so I don’t recommend the service. The pizza however, is pretty good, so we may come back for dinner and never again for brunch.

Love this place. Very simple — looks like a tavern or sports bar but the menu was terrific! Great rustic Italian. really friendly service. Went back two nights in a row for dinner I liked it so much.

Noticed this was a nice place on seamless and decided to give a try. Excellent for delivery pizza. I got sausage and peppers. Fresh toppings and cheese. Brick oven cooked. Chewy but flavorful crust. Fast and easy delivery.

3.5 stars I’ve been Arcurious about Arcuri for a long time. Ha! Get it? Anyway, finally went today for brunch and was mostly happy with the experience. The server(Ethan I think?) was super nice and helpful. The food was pretty good, too. The atmosphere needs some work. Between the two of us, we had the roasted beet salad and the Arcuri insalata to start. The beet salad was citrusy and light. The Arcuri insalata was supposed to come with apples, but I didn’t get any apples. Don’t know what happened there, but didn’t feel like making a fuss about it. The salad also comes with dried cherries, and you know how dried fruit packages always say, «warning: may contain pits.»? Well, in all my years of life I’ve never gotten a pit in any dried fruit, but I got a pit in one of the dried cherries in my salad. Totally not the chef’s fault at all(I certainly don’t expect him to inspect every cherry before it goes in the salad), but it wasn’t fun to crunch down on that! For our entrees we had the zucchini and red pepper frittata and the lemon ricotta pancakes. The frittata was tasty, but nothing really out of the ordinary. The pancakes, however, were light and fluffy with just enough lemon flavor — really good! I didn’t even really use the butter or syrup that came with them. The atmosphere, though — it’s dark in there and the acoustics aren’t good, so it gets loud with just a few tables filled. I wouldn’t want to be there when it’s actually full. But the pizzas looked(and smelled!) good, and I’d go back to try those another time.

Came here for brunch with a group of 7. Waiter was a champ, saw I almost spilled my friend’s coffee with the rickety table and immediately came to the rescue. Super nice and friendly. I had been dying to try the brunch pizza but was disappointed with the limp, thick bacon and sausage that lacked flavor. The middle piece with the egg was delicious and the crust on point but I left the rest to my always hungry and less picky friend who later even agreed that it was«just alright.» I think my friend’s decision to go with scrambled rather than poached might have been the way to go. Also, watery orange juice :[ The best collection of 90’s music was playing, cute little kids were frolicking about, and an LA couple with an adorable pup outside all made for a pleasant/interesting atmosphere. Would probably return for the service and to try something else, but it’s not terribly high on the list.

Came here to have a quick bite before going to a show. It took us about an hour to decide what to eat. Choosing food in Glover Park really does suck. The choices are limited, but lately we’ve always ended up somewhere new(at least for me and my bf). These«somewhere news» have ALWAYS fallen flat. Arcuri is a really chill small place. They don’t have that many tables, but they have some bar seating, even if its limited. They have a pretty good choice of beers on tap, including two seasonal choices. I choose a seasonal from Sweet Water, which was a double IPA. YUM. I loved how hoppy it was. For food, the menu is fairly small. It’s just one page long, but it made it easier for us indecisive people to choose. We did two large pizzas. Broccoli Rabe and the Smokey. Both were good, but the smokey was ALOT better. Broccoli rabe(the actual veggie) is bitter, so be warned. I still liked the flavors of garlic and the bitterness, it just didn’t hit the spot after having the flavor punch from the smokey. I should have eaten a slice of the BR first, then maybe. I will definitely come back. :D

We came here on a Thursday at 12:15 pm. It was not crowded at all as people are probably still working. =) In any case, our waiter welcomed us right away(we made a reservation for 7 people), and our table was already set up when we got there. Service was quick but not rushed and we definitely felt very welcomed during our meal there. We ordered three pizzas — veggie, italian bacon, and prosciutto. All were woodfire oven pizzas. All were delicious. Thin crust, not too crispy, and enough sauce and cheese that neither overpowered the other. We also had the house and the arugula salad which turned out pretty good. Both were fresh and just lightly dressed. Definitely a good start before eating the pizzas. Would recommend eating here again.

Spent several hours here yesterday(1÷3÷15) watching college football and then the Steelers/Ravens game. A group of us sat at the bar. Most of the group were regulars so we definitely received great service. I had the opportunity to try the meatballs off their appetizer menu and two of their pizzas. In addition to the meatballs we asked for an order of bread, which was well seasoned with salt and rosemary, that we used to make little meatball sandwiches. The meatballs were good but the sauce was a bit sweet for my taste. Although, when combined with the bread it worked out well. For pizzas I tried the Smokey(smoked buffalo mozzarella, guanciale, smoked pepperoni and scallions) and the Veggie(red pepper, taggiasca olives and red onion). Both were delicious. On the Smokey, the scallions are added after the pizza is baked and as a result add a nice grassy and crunchy aspect to the pizza. The olives on the Veggie were a lovely salty companion to the sweetness of the red pepper. In addition to the food, I also sampled the seasonal limoncello, which was called Elf’s Breath and was supposed to have a cinnamony finish. It was good, but I never did get the cinnamon taste, just a lot of lemon zest, regardless, it was a pleasant little palate cleanser. I look forward to returning and trying some of their main dishes sometime soon.
