I’m an absolute fan. She finds the problem wherever it is and fixes it. She combines different approaches, gives diet recommendations to help healing, exercise tips. Excellent.

This is one of the best doctor experiences I’ve had. I threw my back out this past weekend and couldn’t get out of bed, and after calling about 10 chiros in dc that either wouldn’t fit me in that day, wouldn’t take my crappy intern insurance, or would only do a consult and not treatment, I left a vm for Dr. Salcedo. She called me back personally within an hour and told me to come in that day, and that she accepts my insurance. She was genuinely a nice person, very calming, and she talked me through the diagnosis and treatment. It was actually really relaxing considering the amount of pain I was in. She then fit me in every day for the rest of the week to make sure my back was better in time for my vacation this weekend– 4 days later, I am almost back to normal. I highly recommend this office! She doesn’t just do a quick adjustment and call it day, she does the ultrasound machine, the electric thingies to loosen muscles, heating pads, ice pads, deep-tissue massage, and she recommended exercises and physical therapy to help prevent additional injuries. After each treatment she had me walk around the office to make sure I felt ok, that I was standing correctly, etc. Very thorough and considerate. The website listed isn’t correct but definitely call for an apptmt.

Dr. Salcedo is an absolutely fantastic chiropractor. The only reason I’m not giving her office 5 stars is that the office admin seems to have occasional issues. They are sometimes difficult to reach to make an appointment. The website is also no longer functional. But if you manage to get in, she is great! I had issues with my right arm because of damage to the rotator cuff and had seen other doctor unsuccessfully. She was able to solve it. She is also great with my back, hips, and neck. The pain almost always goes away instantly when I get off her table. She’s my best weapon against migraines :-)

I have worked with chiropractors all over the country and she is one of the best I have ever seen. As a serious athlete she is invaluable in getting me back in working condition and in tip top condition. Thorough, thoughtful, and works on the soft tissue as well as adjustments. She also does Graston and ART which are rare.

I couldn’t agree more with E.O. First, the culture of the office is warm and exceedingly(in a good way) friendly and helpful. Ana and Victoria are sweet and thoughtful and it always feels like I’m visiting relatives(who I adore) when I have an appointment. Dr. Salcedo is also warm and engaging. She is also a kick-butt chiropractor. I believe she once said she was originally trained as a massage therapist, which probably accounts for her belief that a good session is not just about bones, but muscles, too. A session definitely takes awhile but not, like many other offices, because you’re waiting for a 5-minute cracking, but because you are being massaged, ultra sounded, and electrically stimulated before your cracking. And speaking of cracking, she is a master at the neck(I have always hated that part of seeing a chiropractor, but with Dr. Salcedo I look forward to it. Odd, I know). Anyhow, she and her whole team are wonderful. Go see them! Your back will absolutely thank you! :)

On my first visit, Dr Salcedo claimed she couldn’t treat me because I was on Medicare, though I told her my other insurance was primary. She then couldn’t treat me because I hadn’t brought the CD of my neck MRI.(Her scheduler never told me to.) Next, she harped on nutrition and kept asking if I could eat this food or that food, though I repeatedly told her my problem is with ANY food that goes through my stomach. On my second visit, she couldn’t treat me because she hadn’t reviewed the CD of my neck MRI, although I BROUGHT it. When I tried to discuss my frustration, she said she had other patients to see. But she HAD time to ask about my vacation plans, and to put words in my mouth! She then accused ME of not listening and having an «attitude.» I did NOT visit a chiropractor to get stressed out.

Angie is the best! Has been my family chiropractor for years. I love her.
