When did H & R Block become such an expensive ripoff? I used to pay about $ 175 for a somewhat complicated return. Now lately my situation has gotten simpler but they are charging me $ 360! To top it off they made a mistake and I had to go back for them to correct it. I even had to point out where the mistake was because they couldn’t figure it out. I’m done after 10 years with H & R Block.

Stopped at H and R block to make an appointment and staff was very rude. The woman at the front desk was nice but when I asked for an estimate she went to get someone else to help me. Im not sure if he was an accountant or what but he made very rude remarks including «oh i know the drill go shop around maybe you can find somewhere to do it for ten bucks less.» And some other comments that should have been kept to him self. If it hadn’t been for his remarks I would have left with an appointment but for this reason I will not be using H and R block to do my taxes.
