I got pancakes and french toast to go. They were fluffy and excellent and a great start to a morning. That red velvet french toast though. Mmmmm.

Warrenville’s best kept secret. Large portions, quick service, and great variety of breakfasts. If you come during the week you will get hot corn and blueberry muffins served to you. Everyone is so friendly that our family is there alnost every week.

Decent breakfast food, affordable prices. Mediocre service, empty feeling inside due to lack of decorating. Not great, not terrible.

Warrenville Restaurant and Pancake House is a fairly standard breakfast eatery located in Warrenville just off of Batavia Road. Carrying both breakfast and lunch items they’re open somewhat limited hours and feature many of the traditional items one would expect to find at such an establishment. I decided to stop in here for breakfast and give it a try. One of the first things to note about this place is the high ceilings and lack of dividers between booths or sections of the restaurant. The place is wide open, which gave off a feeling of a little lack of privacy in eating or conversing. After looking over their extensive menu I decided to try an Acapulco Skillet which is a Mexican style skillet featuring Chorizo Sausage, Jalapeño peppers, cheese eggs and potato. There was an option for either toast or pancakes, I opted for pancakes. When the skillet arrived it was fairly decent sized with egg on top and a lot of chorizo sausage in it. I was incredibly hungry and dug in almost immediately. The sausage had a nice flavor to it, the eggs were well cooked. There was some cheese, though not as much as some places, there was quite a bit of Jalapeño in it, and the skillet itself was hotter than other Mexican style skillets I’ve had other places. The potatoes were mostly a potato mush, not particularly crisp, nor did they have any other seasoning that my taste buds could detect. The pancakes were fairly average, there was two of them. Both were fairly thick and soft. The maple syrup available was a nice, thick syrup that had a reasonable amount thickness to it. Overall I was happy enough with my meal at Warrenville Restaurant and Pancake House but certainly wasn’t blown away. I’d say this was an average diner and will award it three stars. It’s worth stopping at if you’re in the area or hungry, but not worth going out of the way to visit.

I consider this to be somewhat of a hidden gem in Warrenville! I come here almost every weekend, and am always a happy camper. They have a pretty extensive breakfast/lunch menu, with awesome pancakes, crepes, and omelettes. Oh, and I LOVE the orange juice here(OJ connoisseurs, you know that Minute Maid just doesn’t cut it). It does get pretty crowded on Sundays around brunch-time. Service usually does not suffer, but whatever you do, do NOT sit by the very front of the restaurant during this time or you will have hungry people hovering around your area and invading your space. Okay, maybe it’s not THAT bad, but I just find it hard to enjoy my meal when there are people standing like 3 feet from your table waiting to be seated. This restaurant also tends to feature an abbreviated«Holiday Menu» on, well… holidays… to speed up their service during those busier times. I’m not a fan of this because my favorite items never seem to make the cut. Overall, great find!

Great big portions of breakfast food served quickly at a very low price. The perfect place to get breakfast on a weekend morning, especially if you want to get in and out quickly.

I’m a huge fan of the Warrenville Pancake House. I come here so often for breakfast or lunch, the wait staff know my son! There is a wide selection of food(with breakfast at any time) and many options for the health conscious consumer. I love their soups and salads! My sister is in love with the chicken salad plate, and I usually get the Greek salad. I like this place so much because it seems like no matter what I order I never leave feeling heavy, like I over-ate. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The services at the WPH is great, with a very friendly wait staff. I also never have to wait for a table here!

I like to go here for breakfast with the family every once in awhile. It’s a nice little family place in a pretty relaxed environment. My son loves the chocolate chip pancakes(of course!) and I usually get the California Omelette, which is really good. The omelettes there are HUGE, like… really HUGE. I’ve tried about 4 or 5 different kinds(and there is a nice selection to choose from) and I haven’t been disappointed yet. My husband likes the skillets, which are also very large in size. My only complaint is that service is kind of slow and the waitresses look like they would rather be anywhere else than there. I say it’s a nice quiet place to get a relaxing, decent meal.

Wanted a good breakfast, hotel waffles were not cutting it. Jumped on Unilocal and found good reviews for Warrenville Restaurant so decided to give it a shot. Was not disappointed. The breakfast menu was expansive and even included baked pancakes like the dutch baby, the first time I have seen it on a menu anywhere. I settled for the biscuits and gravy. The portions were large(could have split it with someone) the biscuits were light and fluffy and just a little toasted with perfectly cooked over medium eggs it was a winner. Service was fast and friendly if I get the chance I will be back.

First time here, had the cinnamon French toast with raisins and apples(NOT from a can!) and it was quite tasty. They could use some tea selections besides Lipton, though.

Wow! What a treat :) I met up there w/some family around 11:30 on a Sunday and had no trouble getting seating. Not to say that they didn’t have a steady flow of happy customers because they did… The highlight was«Elaine» our server. We just loooooved her! What a beautiful soul :) Treated us like family! The food was extremely yummy and the prices were decent. A must stop for brunch when you are in the area!

I wanted this place to be great! I love my new hometown and all of it’s businesses right down to the local gas station. So I figured that the local breakfast/lunch spot was going to surpass my expectations. Wrongo. The menu LOOKS great and creative and fun so I was excited to order. My omelet, despite all the delicious fresh veggies was bland. It’s nice that you get the option of toast, pancakes or french toast to accompany your order but it really was too much food. The clincher was that I ordered a side of canadian bacon and it tasted like magic marker or cleaning fluid… either way, it was not edible. The waitress never came back to check on us, despite it being slow. When I mentioned everything was great except for the canadian bacon to the hostess she apologized but didn’t take it off the bill. Another observation I have about the place, is that no one was smiling in there. Sad couples or singles seemed to line the booths of the restaurant. That kinda killed the ambiance for me. Not to mention reminded me how sad I was about my subpar meal. Boo! :o(

This is a great place to dine. I love going there with my mom so we can talk and catch up on each other’s lifes. The prices are totally reaonable for the amount of food you get. You will be full til dinner! They have international creamers for their coffee, which I LOVE! And fresh squeezed OJ is on tap and you receive muffins before your breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so stop by to start your day off right.

Still being the southern boy that I am, I look for the Waffle House on every corner. It seems I am chasing a ghost. Well I finally gave up one morning and decided to check a pancake house out. Now I was really hoping they would have a beast of a waffle, but instead there was just about every breakfast dish you could put your mind on. And of course, you could get a side of pancakes with the side to every order. I think my tastebuds went to pleasuretown! The pancakes were so good you would swear they sprinkled heaven on it. I think am addicted not and probably go back at least twice a month. The food is really cheap too, so all in all I would say if ever you find yourself hungry and in Warrenville… Check this place out. I know its breakfast, but you would want a to go box for what you couldn’t finish!

Go hungry! I’m serious… I ordered a cheese omelet thinking that all I would get is my omelet, hash brown and toast. Man was I wrong. Of course I got the omelet and the hash browns I expected, but I also got my choice of toast, french toast or pancakes. At first when the waitress told me that I had a chose of the three above I was confused. That wasn’t listed on the menu(at least not that I could see), but I went with it. My choice — french toast. OMG! The food was great! The only reason I had any left on my plate was because I was stuffed. So I took it home with me. It even reheats nicely. :) Funny enough, my only complaint focused on the fact that I thought the waitress forgot about my ice tea. No sooner did I think about it did she come by and said she would have it to me in a moment. All in all, a great breakfast place that I highly recommend you try out.

This was a nice little restaurat to visit. There were lots of tables, and lots of space between the tables, which I like in a restaurant — I hate to be sitting elbow to elbow with someone in another party. The food was good, and pretty cheap. We went on a Saturday between 9 – 9:30 am, and were seated immediately(there were quite a few empty tables, which may have to do with the fact that it’s hard to see this restaurant from Rt 59). My one complaint would be that the tables around us were all given a basket of rolls, croissants and muffins when the waitress arrived at their table to welcome them and get their drink orders; we weren’t given such a basket(a friend confirmed that when they visited the restaurant, they too were given a roll of bread, without ever having asked for one). A small thing, which wasn’t a huge deal, but it was a bit odd. Since I’m in Warrenville fairly often, this might not be a bad place to visit once and again for breakfast. It’s not a place I would go out of my way to go, however, which I will do for a great pancake house and a nice breakfast.

A nice little family dining restaurant that is open only for breakfast and lunch. The food here is pretty standard restaurant food — not bad but not outstanding either. The service has been VERY good and VERY friendly each time we have gone. Kids seem to do well here with the crayons, children’s menu and they get a balloon when you leave. I wish they were open for dinner as well…
