This company doesn’t care about its customers at all! STILLTOTHISDAY no one has contacted me to rectify my horrible experience with them! Stay away from this place until it goes out of business!

Food and drinks are good; games and other activities are okay. Customer service is great.

Came here last week to entertain my extremely energetic teenage nieces. This place is pretty fun, it has bowling, laser tag, a fully stocked bar and tons of video games. We all had a pretty good time. Tried the nachos, they were decent(not expecting 5 star food here). Overall a pretty nice place to hang out. I would come back.

I was looking for a place to bring my birthday party group to after dinner and play pool, bowl, have drinks and hangout. I called about tried to make a reservation and they don’t take reservations in weekends. Fair enough, but I called back and said can I purchase a birthday package reservation and the women on the phone named Jasmine said you have to make a reservation 72 hours in advance for a birthday party(mind you it doesn’t say that anywhere on the website). I have never been to this place and by the customer service people not willing to accommodate, I will never go to this place! We are in the 21st century where accommodating people and customer service is what people remember! Thanks for nothing Main Event!

I should have updated this review a very long time ago. The situation was more than made up for. Great management, thank you!

Terrible food. But really didn’t expect it to be good. Went to celebrate a friend’s bday with small group of adults. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere and then come and play. The group enjoyed bowling and game areas were fun. Bar was adequate. Fun way to waste some money.

You need to fire or inject some customer service 101 into the African American young man working your register counter last Saturday, March 26. Kid was a jerk… and I’m putting that nicely. If he hate’s his job and has no social skills it MAY be time to find a new job. Young blonde female working the concierge stand… she was sweet as could be.

We had some family from out of town and we wanted to go out and do something and we thought this place would be pretty fun. Mind you, this place is not toddler friendly, there is almost nothing for them to do, except for you to chase them around. We went on a Monday night, and it was crowded, or it seemed crowded because they only had 2 people working the front desk, which made the wait to do anything, get anything super long and annoying. We bowled, played some video games, laser tag, it was all okay. I mean it wasn’t a wow experience by any means, but it wasn’t a bad one either. The food is overpriced and meh so I opt to not eat there and go to one of the restaurants across the street. Not sure if I’ll go back unless it’s someone else who put it together.

We visited Main Event for my husband’s company party. I liked this place a lot better than Brunswick Zone. It seemed cleaner and the games were more up to date. We played laser tag and did the rope climbing. Both were fun. The food was okay. It was anything special but it wasn’t bad. I’m not sure if we would come back for another visit though. The games are very pricey and the other attractions are on the expensive side too.

The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because they rip us off. We went on the special for Presidents’ Day which was $ 17.95 per person, the guy ended charging us $ 54.00 and that was only for bowling plus $ 3.75 for the bowling shoes. The first time we had a very good time that’s why we came back. Sadly we won’t be coming back.

Nick and bre are super great and the staff is always really nice. However the bartender Mel was super rude. Kitchen hadn’t done last call yet and when my friends and I arrived she told us to «not even think about it» to ordering any food. Then had major attitude problems, rolled her eyes when asked for a drink, was swearing in front of customers to another employee and also threw her towel when my friend ordered a drink. I suggest an attitude adjustment or I won’t be returning and it’s a shame because I live so close and it’s always a fun atmosphere. I hope I never have an encounter like this again or it will make me not want to return and I live 10 minutes from this place and come here often.

I brought the family back reluctantly yesterday. I was taken aback by management’s response to my previous issues. I talked with Phil who instantly knew about our previous problem. He handled everything with professionalism and went above and beyond. So much so that I feel terrible about my first review! I can’t emphasize enough how Phil’s occasional check in’s and concern will keep me bringing my family back. Most importantly the kid’s had a blast, they always have, and I’ll happily bring them back with no reluctance at all!

I’m impressed with this place! Very nice! Bowling, games, bar, pool tables and much more! Gaming area isn’t as big as D&B but has other areas that make it stand out. If you want to bring your kids, hang out with friends, watch a game, meet for a first date(possibly) then definitely give this spot a try. I’ll be coming back once I’m in town again! Oh and please order some of ME food!

Took my kids here to have a night out. Half the games either didnt work or were $ 2 for literally 10 seconds of game time. The management is slow and doesnt fix the problems with the machines. Martin the manager on duty didnt even address the problems and never apologized for any of it. Stay away other places have better value.

The facility is clean and spacious! The employees are kind and helpful! It was the perfect rainy day activity for my son and his friends. The bowling area is clean and aesthetically pleasing. There was plenty of space for several people to sit and enjoy each other while taking turns at the lane. The laser tag area was a good size with two floors of places to hide. The arcade area had an array of fun games — everything to driving games to strategy games. The refillable cards made keeping track of game credits easy! The prize area was filled wall to wall with many different prizes to choose from. Of course, they were all pretty cheap toys but it wasn’t any worse than any other arcade. They did have some great prizes such as science kits, but they were a junk load of tickets… Likely $ 50-$ 80 worth. All in all, it was a nice place and we will likely be back, possibly for some games, food, and a movie!

We gave Main Event another shot and we had a very nice time. Our biggest complaint was the lack of service with our 1st visit, but it was much better this time around. I have to give a shout out to Matt! He’s the manager who helped us out during this visit and he was very helpful. We went on a Sunday when ALOT of kid parties were going on. We were told that there was close to 400 kids in the building and I believe it because it looked like a kid invasion in there. However, it looked like the staff was at ease handling the kid overload… much better than I would be. We ate in the restaurant area. The food is what you would expect at a place like Main Event. It’s not Gibson’s Steakhouse, but it’s very decent. The arcade area is AWESOME!!! Lots of fun games and the prize area is abundant, much more to choose from than what you’ll get at Brunswick Zone. So, we would definitely return and maybe even have a birthday party or two at Main Event.

$ 34 for a hour of bowling after an outragious 3.5 hour wait? $ 8 for a game of pool with an hour wait? Also way too many kids. I would get better service in a local bowling ally and have way more fun without killing an entire day waiting. If you want a good dose of commercialized suburban America please go to main event. But if you have a soul try supporting a local bowling ally or bar for a much more entertaining experieance.

My husband and I went for his birthday, but didn’t schedule any reservations. It was just going to be a group of 6, anyway. We arrived at 4 pm on a Sunday and had no trouble getting a pool table. Pool/billiards is free from 4 – 7 pm. Also, happy hour specials are on at that time. So, it was a no-brainer to go. We got our table and our drinks. However, it turns out«happy hour specials» are not on every drink, just well drinks. So if you ask for a margarita, but not a «well margarita», you won’t get the ½ price. The drinks were decent. While at the bar, we also questioned about the balls, because there wasn’t a full set. The bartender just replied«I know, that’s just the way it is». Ok, but I’m pretty sure a large place like that should either keep better sights on their equipment or buy another fricken ball! Buy another set, or something. I would hate to pay for pool only to be limited to one less ball. We ended up just being creative in how we played. After about 45 minutes of play, there started to be several groups hovering around us. One of the bartenders approached us and told us that we needed to pass the table off to another group. So, you can go and enjoy the billiards for free, but only for a limited time. I guess it’s «fair», but not fun. They have 2 tables in the whole place. It might be a good investment to buy a couple more tables. We then went to the arcade to play a few games and we had a lot of fun! I actually enjoyed this part of the night. Somehow my basketball skills are better than my pool skills. And anyone that knows me, knows my basketball skills are pretty subpar. It’s pretty nice inside and if you can deal with tons of kids running around, you can have a good time. And if you go on free days. Otherwise, based on the prices, it looked super expensive!

I really waned to give Main Event 5 stars but it wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be. The two stars are because they serve beer and offer fun games! We walked in and wanted to bowl. $ 34 dollars for one hour!!! This is for up to 6 people. You do not get a price break if you have less than 6 people. Show rental is an additional $ 3.50. They had a two hour wait… that is not something they can do anything about. The young girl at the counter was not interested in explaining anything to us. We decided to skip the bowling for now. We played games in the game room towards the back. You can look for the green machines to purchase games cards and tickets. I would recommend buying a little more because they give you a small credit for the more you buy. The games average $ 1.50 per play. You can grab a beer a play pool behind the bowling area. I believe the pool was $ 8 per person per hour. It’s hard to tell if there are servers for this area. You can go up to the bar to order drinks and food but that takes away from the pool play. I saw servers around this area but not at all the tables. I think Main Event would be a great place for a large group or adults with small children. We had fun but will not rush to go back.

Came for a holiday party. The atmosphere is pretty cool because they have laser tag, bowling, and arcade games all under one roof. I really enjoyed the arcade games but didn’t get a chance to bowl or laser tag. Bar service was slow and lacked bar tenders. Overall plenty if staff but not catered to the guests. Food was OK… normal bar food… I did enjoy the queso and spinach dip. I’d go back… it’s is a unique and fun place… but never again for dinner.
