Stopped here for the fish fry on Friday night. The fish and fries did not disappoint. In fact, the fries were excellent. The service was friendly and they treated us as if they actually cared if we enjoyed our meal and ourselves. This is a good neighborhood bar and grill and I will be back.

It was slow when we were there… but the game was playing, the drinks were flowing and the bartender was attentive. I can’t ask for much else for a Sunday afternoon at a sports bar. :)

We stopped here for lunch and I’m so glad we did. I ordered the pork kabobs and they were amazing. Some of the best I have ever had. My boyfriend ordered the pulled pork Mac and cheese and he said it was excellent. We will definitely return!

So I can only review based on two things… cold takeout from hubby bringing catering home, and than takeout when we didn’t feel like cooking. Normally husband doesn’t rave too much about the catered food from school… nothing bad, but nothing special. This time, when Angie V’s catered, he not only had to tell me about it, but brought home leftovers and a menu! The mac and cheese, a day later and cold in the fridge was delish! We only had the regular mac and cheese, but I saw on the menu that there were many variations! He also brought home the patty melt, which was better than the mac and cheese! So of course a week or so later, we had to try their food hot out of the oven :) Hubby was sick, so I went to do a pickup. I ended up with two of their appetizers, the sliders and the loaded nachos. Although all bar food, you can tell that everything was homemade. The sliders were great, and they even remembered to accommodate my sheer hatred toward pickles and gave me a pickle spear(for husband) on the side! The nachos were tasty, but I should have splurged for the addition of pulled pork. It just needed one other thing to round out the flavors. We can’t wait to try them in-store! The bar atmosphere is great, the restaurant spacious, and there’s even a few pool tables to keep yourself entertained for a few hours!

Love the baked mac n cheese! I am always ordering to take out as we are within walking distance. This place is great with awesome special. Only con is no beers on tap. Definitely a go to spot!

I understand the dynamics of opening a new business, especially when capital is limited. Sometimes you have to work within your means. Angie V’s seems to be doing just that. I was disappointed that a sports bar concept is not serving beer on tap as the system is out of order. However, Angie V’s seems to is be a nice place to have a drink with friends, enjoy a sports game on large screen monitors, or enjoy a quick meal. Upon entering the establishment we were immediately greeted and seated. The staff was friendly and courteous. Our server provided very good attentive table service. Kenny also visited our table to see if there was anything we required. We ordered the Friday fish fry special. It seemed to be a frozen variety. The portion was ample and it tasted good. Overall, our experience was good. As a fledgling business it takes time to assimilate. I am confident Angie V’s will become a favorite«go to» destination in Warrenville.

This place just changed hands not too long ago and is a pretty nice looking bar on the inside. The menu items are pretty much what you would expect from a bar and the chile and Mac meals were pretty large. The place has several TVs and has both booth and table seating with a busy kitchen the nightI went. A good place in an area with limited drinking and eating options
