Finally! A real barber shop, you know the ones with the old chairs with the ashtrays from yesteryear. As an out of towner here on business it’s hard to find a real all men’s no fluff barber shop. They don’t do nails and massages, and it ain’t no spa but it gets the job done for under $ 15 just how i like it. Wish they took credit cards and offered a good straight blade shave other than that it’s A+.

We drove by TJ’s the other day and based on the great reviews posted here, decided to give it a try. This place is awesome! The staff is really friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. I’ve been looking for an old school barbershop for awhile now, and now the search is over. I will be going here from now on. Great prices too.

TJ, more like TJ needs to stop charging me 14 big ones to get my barber on! Who’s right mind is it to tell you that your beautiful John Slattery hairstyle needs to be slattered to an odd McCain haircut. I mean, who does that? This foo, that’s who. Overall, I would probably come back. Very much dig the atmosphere it contributes.

Great haircut for a great price! $ 14 for a cut, and straight razor finish. Ask for Tony, and tell him Derek sent you! You won’t get a discount, but he’ll know who it is :) p. s. I believe it is Cash only $$

TJ’s is barber shop. It is not a sissy salon or spa or hair studio. This is as real as a barber shop gets. Tj’s is on 12 mile rd east on VanDyk right across from where the old Walmart(bastard corporation) used to be. You have to park in the rear and there is an entrance there and up front on 12 mile. This is the kind of place that men can bond over. There are 3 chairs and 3 wise men that cut hair. I’ve always been going to the younger guy w/red hair to cut my hair since I personally feel he can do the 2010 styles just the way I like it. The barbers will capture you with wit and sharp scissor skills and the BEST part of the cut is the warm foam shave at the end. The only down side is that they close at 6:00 p. m and they DONOT accept credit cards.(There is an atm a kiddie corner from the shop)
