Del Taco

GREAT! Always Clean! Great Staff & Food Is Very Good (*.*) Great place to meat up for a quick meal with friends! Thank you Del Taco at 11 & Hoover for being on top of the fast food chain!

I’ve passed this Del Taco many time, but I’ve never stopped to check out their food. But, my sister told me that as a promotion, they were giving «free» Carne Asada Street Taco with any purchase. The pictures of this new item looked pretty good, so I decided take a leap of faith.
Unfortunately, this new taco was terrible! The soft taco shell was cold and rubbery and tough, the beef very stringy, and the avocado mushy. It looked like the taco was just thrown together in 10 seconds. Can it get any worst than that? Admittedly, I didn’t get to this location until 8:45 pm and it looked like the staff was ready to call it a day. But, that should not be an excuse for poor food quality.

This is your typical Del Taco. I came here today to pick up dinner for myself and my boyfriend, who was playing cards at eternal games in the same plaza. I got some tacos for myself to eat in the restaurant, and I got takeout for him.
I had a coupon for a free carne Asada taco, it was actually very good, I hadn’t had it before. It had steak, onions, avocado. I usually get the chicken tacos here so I got one of those as well, as well as one of the salsa chicken tacos which is on their dollar menu.
The only reason this location gets three stars from me instead of four is that I tried to use the Unilocal check-​in deal and they were very confused about it. I showed my phone to the cashier and she acted like she had never seen it before, the deal was for anything from the dollar menu in exchange for a Unilocal check in. I clicked use deal and then someone else wanted to see it, but I was unable to show it. They kind of made me feel like I was trying to gyp them out of a dollar taco or something, although at the end they did give me the taco. It was kind of offputting.
Other than that, this location seem pretty clean so I would return again if in the area. The food was good as well, Del Taco always has great food.

I’m a sucker for the Double Del Burger, it is one of my favorite fast food burgers.
At 11 am on a Monday I was the only car in line, I ordered the DDB minus lettuce as it creates quite the driving mess, and since I was in my brand new ride, I did not wanna mess up her new car.
Burger was perfect, bun was fresh, plenty of special sauce.
Bonus was learning about happy hour & taco Tuesdays

They have great prices and specials on Taco Tuesday. The mild sauce packs are really mild, which is perfect as I was able to adjust the amount of hot sauce I wanted. We were able to get our food at warp speed! I had a full lunch without exceeding $ 5, so it is a great place to stop for a quick snack or light meal at a great price.

Had my little boy’s first birthday catered by this Del Taco, it was AWESOME! Not only was the food delicious, but the manager also threw in the plates, napkins, plastic ware and allowed us to take his warming bags with us (which we will be returning). Everything was ready to be picked up on time, the price was 35.00 dollars LESS than we were originally quoted. Everyone loved making their own tacos, burritos, nachos and taco salads… we ordered enough for 35, but received enough for 45 – 50! I will definitely be utilizing their catering services in the future!

I get the grilled chicken tacos and quesadillas all the time. I love their tender, garlicky chicken that is better than the Bell.

OK so it’s Del Taco, what level of expectation are we setting here. That said you’re looking for a quick Mexican fix Del Taco is the place. You can get all the usual suspects here, but lets focus the review on a few of my favorites.
One of my favorite things i used to get at «The Other Drive Through Taco Place» is a burrito made with green sauce instead of the red. Now you can no longer get that there but you can get it here at Del Taco! The green sauce is so good on the beef burrito, I get extra sauce. Also try the fish tacos they are fresh, crispy and flavorful, and thats suprising from a drive through!?!
But the true wrecker of diets is the churro! Have you had a churro, if you have had a good one you’ll understand the girlish squeal of delight that I make when I say ‘churrrooooo’. This Mexican cinnamon sugar doughnut fried pastry stick thing is awesome.
Did I just review a drive up taco chain, yep. Do I love me some green burritos and churros yep!

Food is OK at best :/​however, my little brother works there and from what he tells me they take sanitation very seriously. You don’t have to worry that your food will ever be contaminated, which is pretty good for fast food. However, if I had to choose, I would still go to Taco Bell

Cheap tacos for everyone at work. They have a happy hour from 3 – 5 and the tacos are less than 40 cents a piece. Best quality of a taco? Probably not, but remember we are visiting a chain restaurant and our expectations shouldn’t be high.
I called and warned the restaurant that I was coming and was about to order 40 tacos. They can’t take pre-​orders due to people not showing up, but the time I got there they had about half of my tacos done.
Service was nice and the employees supplied me with more than enough taco sauce.
Good in my book :-)

Del taco! The del beef burrito tastes better here, no idea why. Try the breakfast burrito and chedder quesadila, really you can’t go wrong. I’m pretty sure i have never had a burger here in the 30 years I’ve been going (out west). 24 hours drive thru. Best place on earth.
