This place looks very inviting and impressive when you’re driving by on route 9. My advice would be to keep going. What a disappointment! Pasta fagioli soup tasted like it came out of a can. We had chicken parm and marsala. The marsala sauce was tasteless. It did not have any marsala wine taste. Marinara sauce on the parm was very commercial tasting too. Only thing worth talking about is the bread.

Lunch here was such a pleasant experience. .. I had heard that Frank’s had changed hands, so I was concerned that it wouldn’t be as good as it was with the previous owner. My concerns were allayed. .. My two friends and I ordered Veal Milanese and Eggplant Parm. .. both dishes were delicious, particularly the Marinara Sauce served with the Eggplant Parm. My friends were mopping up the remaining sauce with the delicious bread that was served. .. and that bread basket also contained Garlic Rolls. .. excellent. Our Waitress, Laci, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. .. a real asset to the restaurant. She made us feel so at home, and her parting words to us were, «I hope you ladies come back, I really enjoyed you!» Yes, we’ll be back Laci!

First time at Frank’s in a very very long time. We’re were greeted promptly at the host stand by a bright, courteous employee named Laci. Laci was also our server for our dinner visit. The décor was tasteful, the dining room was bright and inviting. The food was fresh, flavorful and served HOT. It was a very pleasant dining experience and we might have found a new favorite local place. Laci was awesome! Very attentive, witty and the kind of person who made you feel like an old friend. Give Frank’s a try and be sure to ask for Laci. Thanks Frank’s and Laci for an awesome dinner and nice night! We’ll be back(and no that’s not a threat)! Lol!

It’s under new ownership. Figured we would give it a try. The food was just ok and the same with the service. Prices were not too high but for just ok food it wasn’t a place I will return to.

This is a nice place to stop for some decent food. I’ve had better meals on prior visits, so I see some inconsistencies. Overall, though, I’ve never been disappointed by Frank’s. The portions are large, the prices are right and the meals are(more often than not) delicious. All in all, I recommend this spot and will definitely be back.

I was a bit hesitant to try this restaurant given some of the negative reviews, but was passing by and hungry and it was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. I’m glad we gave it a chance, because my husband and I both really enjoyed our meals! We both got somewhat simple pasta dishes, but I found the sauce to be very flavorful on my spaghetti bolognese. We also found them to be very accommodating, as we were there with our 10 month old son and they found a quiet area for us to sit in with plenty of space for a stroller and high chair. Our waitress was also very friendly, and very patient with our slow moving meal(due to my son’s tendency to throw anything off the table that’s not nailed down!). I would definitely go back again if we’re in the area again!

My whole family goes to Franks. The food is good but the house Italian salad dressing and the garlic knots are the best. That’s what we really go for.

This restaurant is simply blech. The dishes have zero interesting elements, the pasta is far overcooked, and the sauces are salty yet bizarrely have no flavor. I suppose the salads are safe but they’re nothing special. The soup tasted worst than canned, again salty yet bland. Way overpriced, less than mediocre food, acceptable service at best. You would even get better at just Olive Garden. Never again.

Went there for the second time for a Mothers Day dinner. The atmosphere and seating was fine. Appetizers and service were both excellent. The waitress was attentive and prompt. On our first visit(about 7 months ago), I had a veal dish which was excellent. This time, I ordered the fettucine alfredo with shrimp and was a bit disappointed. The pasta was dry and there was no extra sauce at the bottom. The shrimp(about a dozen), still had the tails on them. This is a bit inconvenient trying to remove tails while covered in sauce. While not really disappointing, it was nothing spectacular either. If asked to recommend, I would suggest a veal or chicken dish. While Franks wasn’t really horrible, I can’t say that it’s anything worth going out of the way for either. Good but not outstanding. Not likely to return in the near future.

We went around 6 pm and surprisingly enough it was very empty. A few ladies in a table being quite loud but the waitress was quite prompt and polite. One thing I must mention. The area where we were was very stuffy, the air smelled stale… I was quite surprised at that. I would check the ac filters if I was them. The food was quite good.

Craving for Italian so we decided to check out Franks. Reviews were mixed but we were feeling adventurous. I will say that our server was excellent… if only the food were the same. As soon as we walked in we were met by an awful stench which should have scared us away. The soups were good. Fried calamari was cooked well but was bland and the marinara sauce was not great. The oil and bruschetta with bread was great, probably the best part of the meal. The chicken caprese was good but not to die for. Fried shrimp were good. The filet of sole was so bad I had to send it back. It totally ruined my appetite. We might give it a second chance… still up in the air.

My family and I went last night to Frank’s Italian restaurant after our first visit to the location a few weeks ago. Our first visit was excellent, the waitress was phenomenal, the food the best I have had in a long time and the welcoming atmosphere felt being at home. Last night was the whole opposite. The place was not full, nothing out of the norm for a Monday, just a few people in the restaurant, the biggest table was the group that was behind us with 6 or 8 ladies having a get together. The waitress was nice but not on point. she took our order, we order calzone for me and my wife, the kids had penne pasta with Alfredo sauce and meat balls. We order an appetizer of fried calamari. The waitress brings out the calamari looked good and taste great… until we found a 4 inch black hair mixed in the batter that was used to coat the calamari when frying. I don’t know about you, but hair on my food that is nor my own is a big NO for me, not only it is gross you don’t know if the person washes there hair, if hair fell on the batter what else could had fall in it, can you say dandruff? Now here is where the waitress fall short on her part. Once we find the hair we all stopped eating it. We waited over 10 minutes for the waitress to pass by. The waitress passes by like 3 or 4 times looking at us trying to see if or waitress comes over to ask if everything was ok with out food. Now, if I was a waiter and I see a customer looking around with eh look of needing help I would go over and ask if everything is ok, regardless if its my table or not, all to the greater good for the restaurant. But no, this didn’t happen. I had to get up from my table with hair on a appetizer plate go over to the hostess both where she was standing talking over the phone. I show her the hair, she looks at it and all she can say is «that’s weird». In my mind I’m telling my self, «No it’s not» things happens. She tells me that she was going to talk to the manager so that the manager would talk to us. This never happen. Let me tell you something, I have ran restaurants for 3 years when I lived in California. The restaurant that I ran was a casual Mexican restaurant. If I had a guest complaint about anything, I would bet my last dollar, that I would be talking to that guest and guarantying that guest experience to be the best ever. Apologizing, compting part of the meal, or offering a free meal on the next visit. Again this never happen, all we got was a supposedly fresh batch of calamari(That we took home but tossed it in the garbage not knowing if they just repacked the left calamari that we didn’t eat mixed with a hand full of fresh ones) We finished our meal, the waitress gives us our bill and tells us that they didn’t charge us for the second batch of calamari. I looked at my wife trying to say to her with my look on my face«Really! thank you for not charging me for a ruined appetizer» We went to the cash register been again that the waitress came to out table and forgot to come back to ring us up. At the cash register we see the manager. She rings us up, no apology, didn’t even asked us how was our food, not damn thing. Again, I know what it takes to make thing great after a fumble. It is not rocket science just some common sense. Would we go back again? We don’t think so, we think we will continue to go to Olive Garden where you know what you are getting on every visit..

Great ambiance. Small restaurant, but very friendly staff. Menu has a wide selection of offerings from chicken to seafood and traditional pizza and pasta. Great selection of wines from both red and white. Also a selection of cocktails and beers. Pizza is amazing. Thin crust cooked to perfection. For a first time visit, it was definitely worth going back for a second trip around. Room settings were great! Room which I sat in had very soft lighting. Rustic old world Italian feel with hardwood cabinets and filled with wines. Also the ceiling had a great hue of soft light creating a very relaxing atmosphere to dine in. If I had to really pick at negative would be the very small parking lot that has a limited spaces. Entrance is in the back of the building with a great feature for handicap accessible ramp. But overall between moderate prices for the area in which it’s located and quality of food a great place to grab a bite to eat for a night out with a significant other

Food is barely average. Some of the dishes tastes like they were made from canned ingredients. There are plenty of better Italian food restaurants in the area. Service was Ok. Will not be going back.

I frequent this establishment, even before the renovations. I usually get a pizza pie with anchovies and extra cheese! Very good food and a very attractive polite wait staff as well! You can’t go wrong at Frank’s Italian!

Service is ok. One of my sons ordered penne with butter and it wasn’t butter it was margarine and it was a complete oily mess on the bottom. We sent it back and he had the pizza. My other son ordered pizza and he seems to like it. I ordered the baked penne and it’s below average because of the sauce. As an Sicilian I expect them to make their own sauce or at least buy a good sauce for the pasta. This tastes like below average pizza sauce. My husband ordered the special: ravioli, eggplant and chicken but substituted the chicken for another ravioli. He said the ricotta and mozzarella tasted like skim milk and low quality. I think the menu is pretty over priced for the quality of food. Sadly, we won’t be back. It’s funny I’ve driven by here a million times when I worked at IBM and never ate here. What a let down! :( On a positive note: the bread and soup was awesome. Pasta fajole was delish!

Average food for such a nice place. The décor is just fantastic, marble tables — just really nice. We had lunch here the other day. not impressed. My chicken parm wedge was burned, and didn’t have much flavor. Chicken itself was thin and sauce was one dimensional. I had to add grated cheese to add flavor. We also had pizza. Not the worst I’ve had, but also not the best, just plain average. Waitress was friendly enough, and service was quick, so no complaints there, but we won’t be going back anytime soon.

Franks is a good place. They do a great job on everything that they do. Their pizza is also really tasty. They always do really tempting specials, which I am typically a fan of. My personal favorite is the Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert. Love those.

This is a good dine in pizza place. The pizzas are a fair size for the quality and price. The quality is above average. The service is quite good whenever we dine here with a party of 15 or more. It’s not often crowded, so I have yet to need reservations for large parties. The thin crust White Pizza here is pretty good. It’s pretty hard to make since the ricotta cheese often waters out and soaks the crust, but these guys know what they are doing and the pizza still comes out crispy. The garlic and other vegetables offered as toppings are also quite fresh. Besides pizzas our party likes to order pastas and sandwiches. The pastas usually come out al dente, and the sandwich bread is freshly toasted. At nearly the same pricing as Olive Garden, but better quality and at more offerings, the choice is clear. Franks Italian Restaurant is hands down better than any chain Italian offering in the area.
