Any time I have come to Aquria Mexico, I have been happy. The food is cooked to order, made with many flavors and spices & is always delicious. The owner is a very pleasant man who is always present at the restaurant and greets you warmly. The decorations remind you what Mexico would be like. The prices are great which helps with large families. Can’t beat it! Dolores

I am basing this review off of the last few times I have come here. The food is great but the service is not that great. The last couple times including this evening we went there while ordering felt very rushed. You never have just one waiter or waitress which you would think would be a good thing but it’s not. After receiving our meals not one of them came back to check on how everything was. I needed a napkin and my boyfriend needed more water but couldn’t get anyone’s attention. Tonight we had to ask 3 different people for our check. It took 20 mins just for us to leave. Next time I will probably just do take out.

I loooove Mexican food and most of the places I eat at look fine to me. This one was exactly meh! There was nothing special about the food or service or the ambiance of the restaurant. The menu is 6 – 7 pages and it takes 15 minutes to read it all! While some of it is just repetition! I don’t expect any of the Indian or Mexican restaurants to be super clean, because they never are! But this one was a bit surprising, It was dirty and the tablecloths were sticky. I don’t even want to start talking about the bathroom!

Four stars for food, fifth star for value, portions and service. Used to be a regular stop, first time back last night in a long time. The kind of consistent, super-cheap, super-filling sit-down Mexican I’m used to having a lot more of back home and wish was more common in the Northeast. Menu isn’t particularly adventurous, but there’s nothing they don’t do pretty well. Specials can be interesting — last night’s goat special was nice and flavorful, prepared pretty simply. Their steaks also do a good job of elevating pretty cheap cuts into really tasty meals. Consistently very friendly service, ambience is not fancy and a little dated but friendly and inviting. Not the place you’d take a first or second date unless you’re a broke Brandeis undergrad, but a really great place to catch up with friends or to have a not-that-much-more-expensive-than-cooking date night with a spouse or partner.

Meh. Totally normal mexican. Nothing great, but not so bad. It’s a cute place to hang out and have lunch or whatevs, but not recommended.

Very casual restaurant. Food was quick but it was fresh. Loved their guacamole, refried beans, rice and zucchini casadia. Hubby loved his chicken enchiladas! Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

I love the area outside on open air. We’ve been here for lunch about hundred times, and the food is always good. Try Carne Asada and Burito Combo.

Grizzled, fatty meat in the taco salad. Not edible. Disappointing since previous visits were good.

This place is still the bomb dot com! The flautas is yummy. Especially the shrimp one. The few times I’ve gone it hasn’t been too busy, but maybe cause school is out. I would totally skip the coffee for dessert, it’s instant and my date sadly added packets of sugar after sugar. No helping this cup of café, but we did get a sweet message out of it. Serendipity, fate, or maybe destiny budding at Taqueria Mexico? Sure, why not?! Ha.

Big portions for a small price. I usually get the cheese enchiladas, which comes with rice and beans. Huge plate of food! I usually have leftovers. They give free chips and salsa(two kinds) when you dine in, which is really nice! My one complaint is that sometimes the food is too salty.

This place is awesome! Feels fairly authentic, the food is spicy and delicious. Best chile rellanos I’ve ever gotten at a Mexican restaurant.

While I’ve never been to Mexico, so, I cannot comment as to what authentic really is, but this seems pretty authentic to me. A small almost hole-in-the-wall location, not a whole lot of flair, just a small family business making good food. I should note I have reduced sensitivity to spiciness. Loved the chips and salsa before the meal, although the chips may have been ever-so-slightly overdone, I was happy that they were made in house. The salsas were great, also home-made, one was a little hot, the other was much more spicy. For main course I ordered the Tacos de Canasta. These are not the kind of tacos you would get at Taco Bell, they are not even close. They are soft tortilla tacos, marinated in chile sauce, with cheese and sour cream on top. I was glad that there were four kind of tacos underneath the sauce, cheese, and sour cream. Rather than have only one kind, they let you try all four! I was also glad that rather than stuff the tacos with greens(and have them wilt from the heat) they give a side salad. However, considering the size of the dish, I would have like much more salad. Also, however good the tacos were, they were scorching spicy. Note, if they are spicy for me, considering my palate, they may be twice as spicy for someone else. It would have been nice to have a choice of sauces. I had to order a side of sour cream, having drunk close to three full glasses of water, I was embarrassed to have the server fill my glass for the fourth time. The side was of good size, but 2.50 for a side of sour cream sound excessive, even if it is common in the restaurant industry. Service was very good, and appropriately fast(considering everything is made from scratch). When I had paid and gone to wash my hands, when I came out the server told me I had forgotten my credit card. Saved me a lot of stress! Will return!

I’m from SoCal so I’m a bit of a snob about my burritos. This place was great! I had the carne asada burrito with guac and rice and beans. The rice and beans were great, really great beans! Guac was pretty good, too. The burrito was pretty good but they added sour cream and salsa. The sour cream made it kind of soggy. To be clear, I didn’t read the menu so it might have stated it came with it so my bad for not asking. Roomie had the Carne Asada fajitas and she stated they were amazing. She had leftovers to take home… I did not, lol. I’d for sure go back again.

I LOVE it here. I have been coming to place for almost 7 years and I still can’t get enough. Everything on the menu is fabulous and the service is excellent. I have never experienced anything less than exceptional service. I have read other reviews that state otherwise but I really have never experienced slow service… at all. The parking is the only draw back I would say but I still gave it 5 stars because they added additional parking that is off street behind the restaurant. If you are looking for authentic mexican food that won’t leave you broke… this is the place for you

Definitely the best Mexican food in the area. Good portions and really inexpensive for what you get. One star off for the slow service and the difficult parking.

Food is great but service is very slow. Not good for large groups. My wife and I have been their twice. The first time we went, we were engaged, and were looking for a good spot for our dress rehearsal. The menu was great, lots of imported beers and drinks to try. Chips and salsa were fresh and delicous. Only problem was the service. Servers were friendly, but very slow. It took us 15 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. Took about 40 minutes for us to get our food. When we did get the food though, it was def worth the wait! My wife and I decided to choose them for rehearsal dinner here. I talked with the owner for months prior, providing my feedback and only concern of the slow service. He appreciated my honesty and assured me there would be enough space and extra employees on deck to accommodate my 30 – 35 guests. I had also asked him if we could make sure everyone got separate checks, which he said we could do. Sadly that did not pan out. From start to finish we were there for 3 hours. The restaurant was overwhelmed, confused, and took almost 90 minutes for everyone to get their meal. Plates were giving to wrong people, the person next to me got their food 20 minutes after me. However, the food was exceptional. One of the best Mexican places i’ve ever been and many of the guests were happy as well. I expected checkout to be quick and easy, but the owner didn’t communicate the separate bill request to the manager working that night, and on top of an already busy Friay night, added even more confusion to who gets what check. That process almost took another hour. Worst yet, the computer they were using to pay kept freezing. Many people waited in a line that ran out the front door to pay for their food. I was the last person to pay, and the manager told me their was some items that were not yet paid for, and that I would be responsible for paying. I was kind of surprised by this, considering how poor the service went and my preparation beforehand to ensure something like this didn’t happen. I told him straight up that I would only be paying for the dinner my Wife and I ordered. He obliged and our night finally ended. Again, food is fantastic, and is definitely worth visiting. Just be ready to wait a little longer than expected.

Camaroes al mojo ajo was not what I expected– it’s just grilled, i expected it came with real garlic sauce, but nonetheless my friend said it’s good. I had the fatijas– came with beans, a choice of meat, rice with side salad and some green bell peppers. It’s also delicious but nothing exceptional. Oh they gave me plenty of meat Ps.Their beans are delicious!

This place has great Mexican food. I am a big fan of their enchiladas. The chips and salsa are extremely addicting making it hard to say no and could fill you up before ever ordering food. The service is great and you never have to wait long for a drink refill even when the place is extremely busy. The only complaint I really have is that it is always hard to find parking around the restaurant but that isn’t the restaurants fault. I will definitely go back!

Taqueria Mexico is not comparable to Taqueria El Amigo. Not even close. One sunny afternoon, the taco craving kicked in so Will and I finally give this place a shot. The only thing I liked better about T-Mexico is that there is outdoor seating so we got to enjoy the nice weather. Even though there were more customers sitting outside than in, the service was pretty slow. We went through 2 helpings of chips and salsa before our food finally came out. When the food arrived, it was just meh. Ordered one pastor & one carnitas taco. It was under-seasoned. We were using the limes and salsa from other dishes and putting them in our tacos to try and sate our yearning for the something-something. It didn’t work. We left full but not satisfied. Overall, T-El Amigo is cheaper, faster, and 150% more flavorful.

Solid Mexican for a good price. It is in a more residential area, which could really be a plus or a minus, depending on how you look at it. The service can be slow sometimes, but the food is colorful and tasty. Very well done. i had the chicken enchiladas and they were very tasty. I really loved their salsa. I’m tempted to say it’s very authentic, but having never been to Mexico, that would be a stretch for me. It certainly seemed authentic. They even had a guy playing guitar the night we went. Really made for a nice atmosphere. I certainly plan on going back again.
