Wow. What a difference a week makes. Ordered the same thing as before and sorry to say the pizza in no way shape or form resembled the last one. Crust. Different and not on point. Sauce. Uhhh no way it was the same. Pizza was cold when delivered but hey it is winter so I gave them a break on that. Very very disappointed. Something changed and not for the better. Based on first pizza I would order again. I did and then it was awful. I would describe it as barely edible hence two stars.

The sandwiches are the best in the area (next to Dominic’s of course:) and the people that work here are courteous. Also, the place is very clean. Highly recommended.

Yum, YUm, YUM! There is some kind of fry magic going on here: hot crispy french fries delivered to you door!

Yay! Finally a great pizza place in Waltham. Yes, there are a couple other okay spots, but we really liked the thin crust, tasty sauce and fresh toppings; quick service, too. Only complaint is that our pie may have come out of the oven too soon as the center was a little soggy. Overall, hope this place stays around!

I convinced my wife to give this place a shot after meeting the new owner as he was dropping off menus at my apartment complex — he’s a super nice guy and the type of hardworking small business owner we should support — and boy am I glad I did! We each got the cheeseburger dinner with curly fries and a side salad. The fries were great, the veggies were amazingly fresh and tasty, and the burger was the best we’ve had in town. I highly recommend you give Prospect Café a chance to impress you as it did us. We will back very soon.

Been wanting to try this place for a while, kind of forget that it is there sometimes, but there was a spot in front to park, so I said, why not. Didn’t get anything special, Italian sub toasted, no ham and w/​everything on it and an order of fries. I asked if the fries were plain, not coated and he assured that they were plain, they were not, that was disappointing. My Italian was made as request and I really liked the sub roll, especially good because it was toasted. The sub had plenty of meat and toppings. I chatted with the pizza guy for a minute, as I knew him from NY Pie, so you know the pizza is going to be good. My son ordered from here the next day and got very sick from it, don’t think he will be going back, but I will stop in to try their pizza.

We have picked up pizzas from this café 3 – 4 times now and every pizza we got was flavorful plus we only had to wait 10 – 15 mins for the pick up. It’s becoming our go to place for pizza now.

I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the Pollo Lemon sandwich. The pizza was a nice thin crust and the sauce was tasty. My favorite though was the pollo lemon sandwich. It came with grilled lemon chicken, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and arugula. Soooooo good! The bread was awesome and all of the ingredients were really fresh. Delivery was fast too. I definitely recommend this place!

Delicious thin crust pizza! My husband LOVED the stromboli. 10″ pizza option is awesome! The owner is super friendly and it makes you want to support the business. :-)

Go to delivery in Waltham. Miles better than the old place of the same name. We’ve tried the subs, wraps and pizza and nothing has disappointed yet. Delivery is always quick.

Amazing food. Everything tastes good. They messed up a couple of orders. I made notes on the online orders and from then on the cook called to correct it and then they knew me and then it was perfect. And it always comes in less than 20 minutes.
Very friendly, neighborhood like which makes me feel great patronizing them, I hate chains of any kind. Salads are delicious.

I don’t usually write reviews but I figured they deserved it. I work in the area and order their salads all the time and they are consistently delicious. Very generous portions and always fresh. I’ve had the apple/​walnut, the Greek, the arugula and the grilled chicken cobb… each one was excellent.
Their house dressing should be bottled, it’s that good.
Today I decided to venture out and get a sandwich. I got the Pollo Lemon sandwich and it was REALLY, REALLY good. And they don’t leave me hungry for long… they usually deliver within 10 – 15 minutes if not faster at times…
I definitely recommend this place.

EG. You COULD NOT be any more wrong. I get delivery twice a week from this place, I’m usually told 30 to 40 minutes and they are always early. The people there couldn’t be any nicer. I noticed you joined Unilocal TODAY was it just to BASH this place? You sound like a jealous competitor, and the only one saying bad stuff about them. All I can say is anyone reading this just try the food from this place and let yourself be the judge.

New management. Much improved over the old store. Great service. Clean space. Excellent customer service. Plus the food is good!

They had my two large specialty pizzas ready to go in 15 minutes, and they were super friendly.

So I Was in the area visiting some friends and I was starving! So we decided to head down the street to get our grub on.
First off, whom ever that Carolyn chick is, she’s obviously a fake rater. No idea why she would attack on the guy Alex? Perhaps a near by competitor? If so, I’m disgusted by her review.
Anyways…
I was greeted by Alex himself at the front and he took my order. The guy is extremely nice, and very respectful! Nothing but smiles on this guy’s face, and he is extremely accommodating to my orders. No F bombs coming out from his mouth.
I’m a pure foodie, and I love avocados in my salads! I mean, who doesn’t? (^_​~)
I had ordered their Apple walnut salad and requested it with avocados.
And the friends ordered their eggplant pizza with chicken, and a pepperoni pizza.
When my salad came, it was legit gourmet! They were very generous with the avocados. And the salad… oh my… it’s like eating straight from a garden. Every single bite, you can hear the crunch of the crispy. that is what I could taste; FRESHNESS of my salad.
Everything is just so damn fresh!!!
****DO get their house salad dressing! you wont be disappointed! its so good i dipped my pizza crust in it. lol (^_​_​^)
The pizzas came out perfect! The dough is just right! Not too soggy, and limp. The dough was cooked well, pizza lovers knows what im talking about when you fold the slice to stuff your face and the tip of the slice doesn’t sloop down… That’s a good pizza, Cooked to perfection!
All in all, their service was great, high quality food, chill atmosphere!
*** FYI they have a tv there, just kindly ask them to switch the channel for you and they will. They also have wifi.

This place is great! The new owners did a fantastic job renovating. Very clean. I love how you can see into the immaculate kitchen. The food is excellent! Prospect has gone from being the WORST pizza place in Waltham, to the absolute BEST!

I was recommended here after the renovations by MANY people! I am so glad I was told to come here. Got 2 pizzas– the bianca (white) & a cheese pizza with mushrooms and onions. Both pizzas were hot and tasty. Waltham is a hard area to find good pizza, but this place is excellent and I will order from them for next time.
Also got a roast beef sub which was perfect. Not much to say about a sub!

Ordered a small cheese pizza and a house salad via Foodler on a Sunday. Delivery time to Waltham/​Lexington line was about 55 minutes, which was a little long, but certain worth it!
The pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve had in Boston, with a warm chewy crust and a great selection of cheese. The house salad was also very good, despite being mostly lettuce it was very fresh and crisp.
Will definitely order again!

If you have a craving for some pizza and don’t want to take off your slippers or put on your overcoat while the air outside fluctuates from freezing to wet-​gross and then back to freezing again, you should definitely check out Prospect.
We placed an order for Prospect through Foodler at our office in Newton because I noticed it showed up as a new place at the time of this posting. Having tried every pizza place on the list that was available to us, we decided to give it a go and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised!
We ordered a large TACO pizza and a large Meat Lovers pizza. Foodler estimated the target delivery time to be about an hour away which is reasonable. The delivery came 30 minutes before that target time! The pizza was hot AND fresh with barely any time for it to soak grease into the pizza box!
The taco pizza has the Americanized traditional taco taste down flat but with a lil extra on the side. The taco pizza has a choice of beef or chicken (we got beef), mozzarella-​cheddar blend, a little bit of taco seasoning sprinkled, and some friggin’ DELICIOUS, I wanna say they were pickled, jalapenos. The package included a cup of salsa on the side for the adventurous type and just added to the entire presentation. When you opened the pizza box it LOOKED like a tacos in pizza format!
The Meat Lovers was also full of flavor. Not every bite was meat BUT every bite was savory and fabulous! I would highly recommend this as a standard meat pie for any occasion
The pizza style for both pizzas seemed to be slight thicker than a traditional thin-​crust pizza. The cornicione was hefty enough almost as if it was born to be used to hold and deliver the pizza to your face mouth. While not immaculately seasoned, the cornicione was pleasant to eat and worth consuming while still hot!
Overall, I really enjoyed the pizza as did my co-​workers and we will definitely be ordering from here again the next time we are hankering for some pizza.
