Lenas used to be good but since changing hands has gone drastically down hill. After two disappointments I will not be ordering from them again.

We usually go to Lena’s to fulfill the pizza crave and this place has a good range of different pizza flavors. The price is great and pizzas are quite tasty.

My girlfriend and I were staying in Waltham and ordered Lena’s. They delivered a delicious Hawaiian Pizza to our hotel, and the driver gave me a call because the staff wouldn’t allow him to go upstairs to the room. The pizza was hot, delicious, and arrived on time (they estimated 45 minutes, and it took almost exactly 45!).
We will certainly go to Lena’s again when we are in the Waltham area.

In the past when I wanted a great Tuna sub, Lena’s was the place to go. I was so disappointed when I tasted my sub. It is nothing like it use to be. I would never order Tuna from there again.

It took an hour and a half for my pizza and other food to arrive. I called twice to ask about where it was and was told that the pizza delivery guy got lost. By the time the food arrived, it was cold and basically inedible. Really wish I hadn’t prepaid the tip, and was offered no apology or discount for the now-​useless food I had ordered. Would never order again.

I am not impressed by their subs. This review is soley based on their pizza. Best pepperoni pizza in the area and at a good price

I’ve heard from several people who are from Waltham that Lena’s used to be incredible but now it’s gone downhill. Those Waltham natives were right, my pizza basically tasted like burnt oven every slice of the regular cheese and every slice of the pepperoni. Disappointed is a polite way of saying what my mood was, I called ahead then got to the location and waited an additional 15 minutes on top of my 10 minute drive. WALK A FEW SECONDS DOWN THE STREET TO ANNA’S Pizza or as Kate C says just head to Carl’s which is also down the street. Lena’s is just taking up space in that corner location.

I grew up loving Lena’s, the change in owners has drastically changed the food/​service. The past three (and final) times I ordered food, I could barely understand them on the phone, the guy was rude, and the food sucked. Will never return to this place which I used to highly recommend

Delicious pizza and subs. Excellent service and great price. Definitely the new go to spot, can’t believe I haven’t found this place sooner.

Not only did I have to speak to the delivery driver 3 times to tell him where I was (said the same exact thing every time) but when I received my sub it was soggy and made wrong and they sent me the wrong kind of chips. Now usually I would just suck it up, but after the delivery driver clearly not paying attention to what I said and the food being wrong I decided I needed to write a review. I have gone into the shop and ordered food and really liked it in the past. I will now never order from here again. Horrible experience. I suggest if you do choose to eat from here you don’t ask for delivery that way you can make sure your food actually gets to you and is correct.

The food is pretty good but the delivery time is SO.SLOW. It shouldn’t take an hour to get a pizza.

Called for a delivery at around 2:30… pizza arrived at 4:50. When we called to ask why it was taking so long we were treated as if we were inconveniencing them and no apology was given upon delivery. Very poor delivery service

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We ordered 2 very expensive Caesar salads with steak tips. They took about 45 minutes to arrive. Then, when we opened them, we realized that they had no dressing! It wasn’t on the salad and it wasn’t on the side! We called and were told they would bring us the dressing.
We waited for 40 minutes and then called again. I explained that we had been waiting for our salad dressing for a very long time. I told them that we deserve some sort of discount for this. He didn’t agree. He was really rude and said, «Hey. So it’s a mistake. The driver will be by with some dressing.» I told him that we had been waiting for 40 minutes. No apology. He really didn’t care.
About 10 minutes later, 50 minutes after we called asking for our missing dressing, the dressing arrived… boiling hot. He must just drive around with dressing in his car. GROSS!
This was the first and last time I will ever order from this place. I usually order from Anna’s Pizza, which has awesome salads!

Lena’s! What the hell happened? When I was a kid I was obsessed with your steak and cheese subs. It was a weekend ritual for my family and I to pick up Lena’s, go home and watch a movie together.
Under the new ownership that happened a few years ago, the food is junk. If you actually use steak again and not some frozen steak mystery meat maybe we can mend this relationship. Now I go to Carls and I am a happy girl.

Overwhelmed with how average of a sub shop this is… Not sure why it’s 4 stars. The food is pretty ratty here, and if you’ve ever been inside the place it’s a total filth pit. You probably won’t get ill from eating the food, but there’s honestly no reason to ever go to this place under any circumstances.

Poor delivery time. Took an hour and 45 minutes. Excuse? «If you call before 2, there are two drivers on.» Dude, you were an hour and 15 minutes over the time you said it would be there.
Because of this the sub was okay and the onion rings were soggy and cold. Super disappointed by a well talked about restaurant in the office.

They’re unrecognizable and I’m surprised that they would have delivered something that looks like the picture I’m posting — would anyone eat something like that?
The restaurant decided that I was due a $ 5.00 refund on an item that costs $ 7.50
I won’t order from them again.

I came tonight to grab a slice. They didn’t look too good sitting in the pizza warmer, but the counter guy reassured me it’s because they cook them halfway and finish it up when they are reheated. Okay, so it did come back to life and was piping hot, but it was the most tasteless pizza I’ve had in a while. The crust tasted like cardboard, the cheese was salty with no real cheese flavor, and the sauce was bland. I was really disappointed and don’t expect to return for pizza. However, I do remember the wings being good here, but I have other places closer to my house to get that!

Lena’s is conveniently located in central Waltham, right on Main Street and has quickly become my go-​to delivery spot for pizzas, salads and steak tips. Actually it was our first meal when we moved to the area and we even ordered back-​to-​back days because it was that good.
They have a fantastic menu which is a lot more diverse than your average pizza joint but what makes them really stand out is the quality of the food. The pizza was one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in Massachusetts. The crust was nice and chewy and not too thin, just perfect. Great flavors too and the toppings tasted great and were generously placed. Not overly greasy either which nice.
And as good as their pizzas are, their steak tips dinner plate ($ 11.99) was really, really good. Amazingly tender, charred tips with some mixed veggies and fries or rice. There’s also a complimentary option available for them to add onions and mushrooms if you want (do it!) — delicious stuff.
But wait, there’s more! The wraps are great, the salads are great, all in all, there’s nothing sub-​par about this place. It’s a fantastic and competitive shop that stands alone in the area where everything else is average at best (okay well maybe not Carl’s — that one is great too)
It’s all affordable and you can even place your orders online on their site. The deliveries are always fast and the staff friendly as well. Oh and they have a ton of coupons available on their site as well. Solid.
