I don’t write many reviews, but I want to share my positive experience at CounterEdge with others. Several months after purchasing a Groupon, I submitted a mark-​up with measurements of my kitchen and ½ bath countertops to CounterEdge with a request for a quote. My fiancé had thought about installing granite for the past 2 years, so we’d already visited the big box stores and a several kitchen & bath showrooms to gain an idea of pricing for the type of granite we wanted. Since we had 2 types of granite in mind, I requested that the quote be given for each granite type, assuming there would be a difference in cost. Next day I received a reply with a quote from Jon Mancini. Having done our homework with respect to pricing, we felt the quote was reasonable, so I emailed Jon and informed him of our desire to proceed. He responded with the names and addresses of a couple of showrooms where I could view and select a granite slab for the project. Within a week of visiting one of the showrooms (CBS Exotic Stones in Winchester, MA) and selecting a slab, Jon arranged for the granite to be delivered to CounterEdge. Up until this point, my dealings with Jon and CounterEdge were entirely by email, but Jon suggested I come into CounterEdge to see the slab another time before it went to fabrication. When I arrived, Jon greeted me and gave me a brief tour of the facility, which is clean and well organized. Jon wasn’t aware that I had already purchased a new sink for the kitchen, so he showed me am 18 gauge stainless steel D-​bowl sink he’d set aside for me, which he indicated would be included at no charge. Although I didn’t need the sink, I was impressed that Jon was going to include this sink at no charge. A few days after my visit to CounterEdge, Jose C, the templater, arrived at my home to take measurements. I wasn’t home, but my fiancé informed me that Jose was very professional and made some helpful suggestions as to placement of the faucet and attachments, addition of a side splash on a wall that we had not originally planned for (to be provided at no additional charge), and the need for a wood support across a large void in the ½ bath vanity to support the granite that will be installed. Ten days later, 3 installers arrived and quickly got to work installing the granite. The installers were hard working, meticulous, friendly and courteous, and did a thorough clean-​up before they left. They worked very well together and it was obvious to me that they had a lot of experience installing granite. The seams are virtually undetectable. Everyone I dealt with at CounterEdge was helpful, friendly and personable. At no time did I feel as if my project was unimportant to them. They took the time to fully answer all of my questions. As far as customer service and quality of work is concerned, CounterEdge went above and beyond and exceeded my every expectation. I am extremely pleased with CounterEdge and will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others.

We recently had our entire kitchen done. One day, I waltzed into their building to check out their counters. Although I did not have an appointment, they were glad to help me. I never felt the pressure to buy nor did I feel as if I was steered towards another purchase. They gave me sound advice and even gave me a nice tour of the special machine they have that few people have. Pretty amazing machine I must say!
The experience with them was very pleasant. I wanted a particular type of sink and they went out to order one for me at a very good price. Other places had cheated us by giving us prices that were were up to $ 150 more than listed prices that I found! We went to 5 places and the sq. footage they all calculated were way higher — only these guys gave us a number exactly as our designers! So even though other places had lower price per sq. foot, their total estimates came out to be about the same except that you’d wonder why they were charging for that extra 10 sq. feet!
The installation was great — the guys who came were very professional, friendly and you could tell they were installing and not just «working a job». The countertop looks really good! Well cut, the seams are practically invisible and the backsplash looks GREAT! We’re still getting used to this because it is our first granite countertop! But so far, amazing!
Everyone at Counteredge was friendly, professional and able to produce the countertop we wanted. Maybe their price is marginally higher, but the fancy cutting technology they have is worth it alone — we have practically no seam from wall to wall. I appreciate their straight-​forward honesty and professionalism.

CounterEdge was a dream to work with on my recent home renovation! We remodeled 3 bathrooms and added one small countertop to our kitchen. From my first visit into the showroom through the templating and installation of all 4 countertops, I experienced friendly and professional customer service. Jon Mancini went above and beyond to communicate through all phases of the process, and helped guide me towards counters that I loved that also fit my budget. For the kitchen counter they helped me find a perfect match to my other counters from a previous project. When compared with the fabricator I had used a few years ago for the kitchen, CounterEdge was competitive cost-​wise, but far superior in personalized attention and service.

Having just renovated my kitchen with CounterEdge, I can comfortably say I would NEVER use anyone other than CounterEdge for my countertops. Not only is the end product beautiful, the customer service I encountered each step along the way was extraordinary. I was looking for a very specific countertop for my island– a 9 foot slab of white marble. At first I visited a competitor who told me they didn’t have what I was looking for and handed me a list of suppliers that might carry it and sent me on my way. Then I called CounterEdge. Not only did they call ahead to four suppliers to see if they had what I was looking for, they scheduled appointments for me at each and came with me whenever I needed an additional pair of eyes. They were patient and incredibly persistent in helping me find my slab (they found one in the midwest and monitored the 4 week transfer to MA) and communicated with me constantly and personally every step of the way. The field team is meticulous and talented and just as responsive as the rest of the team. When I had a question following the installation and my contact was unavailable, his partner called me personally to answer my question. All that and their pricing was extremely competitive. I would use CounterEdge again tomorrow and recommend them in a heartbeat.
