I’ve been an Allegra customer for many years and have always gotten professional, prompt, cheerful service. It’s such a relief to know that when I send in a job, it will always come back done right the first time. The only downside is that Allegra is closed on the weekends, so on occasion I’ve had to use one of their competitors, which has always reminded me why I prefer Allegra’s knowledgeable staff and great customer service!

The owners and designers are very knowledgeable and nice. They always are helpful with my projects, and as a graphic designer I use them often. Their turnaround times are quick and they help me with layout and choosing paper and colors whenever I need it. Their prices are great and they have done everything from the easiest job of just business cards to difficult embossed and scored and dye cut jobs. This is my favorite printer by far!

I had the worst experience at this location on a recent visit and consultation for printing services. I was a previous customer, when I went into reorder business cards I decided that I would to choose new ones and possibly design a logo for my business. The gentleman behind the counter was less than helpful and his main concern was what type of vehicle I was driving, which was located outside the front door. I inquired about my desire to make up new cards and asked for some help and he gave me a binder with samples of business cards but offered no further help. I inquired about further creative help in designing new business cards and a logo, so asked who could help me and he said they had someone on staff named Kathy and he would give me her my number. It took two days for me to receive a call back from Kathy, she expressed to me how busy she was, too busy to call a customer back? Well anyhow, I set up a time to meet. I showed up on time and met with her after a short wait. After stating my intentions and giving Kathy a little input on how my initial greeting at Allegra went I still wanted to do business with her shop. I intially communicated with Kathy on what we talked about. When following up with a call, again Kathy stated how busy she has been. When I expressed my feelings on my experience on this small project with her up to the present time with a little dismay, thats when Kathy let me have it. She stated that she felt because I mentioned that I thought maybe another shop would do my design work for free in order to get the printing work that I had no intentions for paying for her time and effort until this point. I felt her talking down to me was so unprofessional. I guess my project was not to her liking. I would not recommend anybody I know to use this shop based on my experience with Allegra in Waltham. Someone answer me this. How do you treat walk in customers like this when we have the ease of the internet these days?
