Lovely old barn with a sprawling collection of home goods, Maine-​made delicacies, and wines of the world. The owners are sweethearts, and love to chat. The Walpole Barn is a great place to stop for a snack, or a gift. Call ahead to see whether they have Damariscotta River oysters — a local treat that you should not miss.

Fantastic shop with wine tasting, plus there are beautiful gardens to wander. There is a nice elderly pup hanging out smiling at everyone. It is a terrific experience to visit this place. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We found some amazing paintings which are now hanging in two houses looking marvelous.
