The Coffee Perch is situated perfectly in downtown Walpole. As a small boutique coffee shop, it offers a great selection of coffee sandwiches and assorted pastries. Some mornings, you may have some difficulty finding a seat as it is a narrow space, but that just tells you how popular it is with the townies.

Was going to try this place out but they closed the doors for good on February 13, 2015. Sad to see a local, non-starbucks shop go away.

Employees are nice. But have gone a few times for decaf and each time it had clearly been sitting in the pot for way too long. No surprise, most people don’t drink it so it happens in most coffee shops. It doesn’t move fast enough to stay fresh. Or perhaps my taste buds are not refined enough to appreciate the richness and sophistication of your product, as the owners suggest in their responses! The shop is cute and clean and like I said, the staff seems friendly but that coffee was very stale.

I just had the perfect breakfast sandwich. A fried egg, thick crunchy bacon on an everything bagel. I know, it seems like a lofty claim. But so often we settle for precooked scrambled eggs with razor thin bacon on a commercial Brand bagel, and this was NOT that sandwich. Enjoy it, there aren’t many to be found like this. Too bad I don’t live in the area or I would be a regular. I’ll just have to settle for occasional visits. Also, it doesn’t show on Unilocal but they are open on Sunday.

I found out about this gem from my new employer. They have both raved about the great coffee that is served here. I decided to try it out one day and fell in love. The service is great, the food, from what I have gotten has been amazing(bagel, muffin, coffee cake). I like both Starbucks and dunkin’ donuts, and would have to say, this place does not compare to either! I will say, on a scale of strong to weak coffee, it fits right in between both dunkin’ and Starbucks. Now, the reason I gave a 4⁄5 stars is because the prices are a bit steep. I walk out of the place almost every time paying between $ 7-$ 10 for a «large» coffee(which is really a medium everywhere else) with either a bagel or a muffin. Don’t get me wrong, the food, coffee and service are all great so I should not be complaining about the price. If you are in the area and are looking for a little coffee shop and do not want to go to a Starbucks or a dunkin’ donuts, I urge you to try this place. I am glad i was introduced to it. I will be visiting again!

To begin with, I’m not a fan of Starbucks, and would choose a local coffee joint and or dunkies. Any how, while visiting Walpole this became my daily stop. Great Americanos, I always get an extra shot or two. The cranberry walnut muffin was excellent, and the bagel sandwich was awesome. Definitely a daily stop when I comeback!

I pass by this little shop every morning and I’ve been saying for months that I would stop in, and today I finally did. The entire atmosphere of the place was very light and peaceful, a very comfortable place that I could easily see myself studying in with a coffee or pastry. Today I just got a cup of hot cider, and it is probably the best cider I’ve ever gotten from somewhere that wasn’t a farm or apple orchard. Very rich in flavor and the perfect temperature of hot enough that it was clearly just brewed and burned a bit but that you could still taste how great it was. I also got a cookie which was really soft and was just really delicious. I’m planning on coming back at least once a week to try the other drinks and pastries they have to offer. The barista was also very friendly. The art work on the walls is also a bonus, simply because they are beautiful to look at and the shop gives local artists the opportunity to show off their work.
