I went in for dinner 2 weeks ago ordered a 20oz ribeye which I always get and never used to have a problem it’s always been thick and flavorful. Till now they tried to pass a ¼ in thick steak as a 20oz I call the manager over and he gave me a crap excuse. terrible skimping going on over there

Went here for my cousin’s 7th bday, and think it’s a great place to eat for families with younger kids. Again, their dinner rolls never fail to amaze me(just be aware that they truly are calorific). I got the country style fried chicken w/brown gravy and it was good(if you love American food). The server(s/o to Samantha) was great! She noticed how much we loved the rolls and gave us some more extras to take home(fresh and just got out of the oven)!

Ordered a steakhouse filet salad take out. Ordered the pieces of medium rare. Got home and there is RAW meat in the middle of the steak pieces. Call them back and the manager doesn’t even apologize, offers a coupon not a refund! Are you kidding me? I want a refund. She said she’d adjust my bill, we will see. Horrible manager response to a potential safety issue. Julie, you’re a shitty manager!

Food like any other Texas R, our food took forever to arrive, and when came it was wrong. Got it right afterwards but 3 orders wrong?

Came for dinner around 5:30 on the Wednesday of the school vacation week. Seated immediately in a booth as requested, and our server came fairly quickly afterwards with rolls and cinnamon-sugar-butter spread. I think our server was polite and knowledgeable, but she hardly spent any time at our table and it was challenging to attract her attention. She seemed like a sweet enough girl, maybe it was just a busy night and she didn’t have time to chat it up. Drinks arrived very quickly, and orders were taken promptly. Our food(bacon cheese burger w/steak cut fries and an order of the pork chops with mashed and buttered corn) was good, as it has been during previous visits. Food arrived quickly via a very outgoing food runner, whose personality was appreciated! Ordered two desserts– Granny’s Apple Dessert(which is a large slice of warm apple pie with a giant scoop of golden vanilla ice cream on top, liberally drizzled with a brown sugar and cinnamon caramel sauce) and the Big Ol’ Brownie(a large, circular brownie warmed in the middle, with a molten center of creamy chocolate, served with a giant scoop of golden vanilla ice cream and a good portion of hot fudge drizzled on). These desserts were both delicious! It sure would be helpful if their menu gave a description of the desserts, but that’s something for corporate to think on. Plenty of birthday yeehaws, people sitting on the saddle, and some of that mandatory dancing from the servers. As we all know though, that mandatory dancing really is only fun if they’re into it, which they were not tonight haha. Overall a really fun, energetic atmosphere, lots of families and couples on dates. Tasty and hearty food in excellent portions. Server was busy and lacked the connectivity we’ve experienced before at this location, but the food arrived fast and the orders were correct, so she technically did her job! Definitely plan to go back– even signed up for the VIP email club(it’s not just for VIPs, it’s open to everyone, and apparently has some nice deals on free appetizers and stuff)!

I go here a lot, love it. The service is fast and polite, even if you see a line out front they move it fast while not rushing you through your meal. As a veteran I want to say thank you for your Veterans Day special and the MIA /POW table was a nice touch.

Food was served ice cold I didn’t want a «road trip«experience so I declined their offer to send it back They gave me a $ 10.00 discount that I had them take back. Nicole was great but I wouldn’t return

First experience here. Expected chain restaurant food and service. Food was good, good enough we would return. Dinner rolls and cinnamon butter was delicious, house salad fresh and tasty, ribs«fall off the bone» tender(needed a bit more sauce), steaks cooked to desired temperature. Downfall… Service! Had to ask another server for bread as ours apparently forgot. Dinners came missing sides… had to flag down yet another server. Dessert came while dinner plates(and salad plates) were still on the table. Food good, service not so much.

Came here last night for dinner and was served by Mike. My friend has got to be one of the most critical eaters ever(worse than me) and he explained to Mike how terrible the last time his visit to Texas roadhouse was(not this location, they had to remake it 3 times) and how he was uneasy about ordering because it’s never cooked correctly. First of all, Mike was the friendliest waiter ever. he spent a ton of time talking to us about food and service. He was extremely patient and completely listened to the concerns my friend had about ordering a bone in rib eye(I believe). he was efficient and best of all, the steak came out perfect. He never has no complaints. He had ordered 2 baked potatoes on the side because he was anticipating it to be made wrong so he could fill up on something, but didnt touch his second potato. two guys discussing in detail about the techniques of cooking steak, it went on for awhile. but then at the end I admitted I am a Unilocaler, And that I was extremely impressed with how he treated us. I don’t like to tell places I’m going to review them until maybe after when it’s time to leave, and that’s only when it’s excellent. I only ordered a baked potato and it was made just how I ordered it so I don’t have much to say about the food but it was good. the Margarita with patron kicker was lit! The food at Texas roadhouse or any chain really isn’t spectacular because it caters to the masses. But Id say if there was an example of how all waiters should treat their customers, Mike would be it. He could and should be able to get hired anywhere, I was extremely happy with how he handled our meal. and I was very happy that the food was made exactly how we had ordered it. Mike gets 5 stars.

We were there as a party of 4 on a Monday night at around 8pm, We were in town and decided to go grab some beers and a bite to eat. Food was alright my 16oz cowboy cut and my girlfriends 8oz sirloin were a little dry and overcooked although the ribs were very good. The bad part was the fact that the manager(who didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us directly and instead decided to send the confused waiter) didn’t allow my 2 foreign friends(Mexican’s) to drink beer stating that their United States visa(passport card) was not enough. My question to them is, what document other than a USA passport visa does a foreigner need to drink there? Since that’s the only document they can get here. Or maybe they have a no alcoholic beverages to foreigners policy?

Typical chain, you should go in knowing what to expect and what not to expect. I’ve never had a wonderful experience here other then the first time I went and got two free drinks and free salads because the waitress kept putting them on our table when they were the table next to ours. But following in the correct way, once an item hits a table it shouldn’t be given to the correct table due to health concerns. So free items for us and discounts for the table missing items. The bread and butter make this place worth visiting, but I’d rather go to Clyde’s up the street for better service and food, and less yelling/dancing.

You can’t go wrong with fresh bread with cinnamon butter and free peanuts! I always ordered the half rack of ribs with French fries and house salad when I come here. We ordered the cactus blossom(which is basically onion rings) as an appetizer. It was a bit burnt. Service was good. Definitely coming back when I like me some good olé ribs!

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because of the cute waitress and fried pickles. Would not got back! I ordered the prime rib and my friend got the ribs. The prime rib came out lukewarm and had an odd taste. The meat was tough and the cap was almost non-existent. My friend ribs were not properly cooked. They were anything but fall-off-the-bone. The BBQ sauce they slathered on didn’t help. With 2 beers each and an appetizer we were at $ 65 before tip! What a rip off!

Wow, came here on busy Friday night and I guess the staff all perform great under pressure because the food arrived really quickly, steak and meat were all cooked perfectly, and despite all the screaming kids and noise, the hostesses and servers all still remembered to smile and be nice. The rattlesnake bites were hot crunchy and spicy, love the spicy jalapeño mixed with melting cheese. 16 oz ribeye was tender and juicy, fries were hot and crispy. The seasoned rice was a bit overwhelming but if you like jambalaya style rice, this is your thing. I love how they serve their dinner rolls warm and the butter had a bit of cinnamon mixed into it. Made me feel all Christmasy. Awesome place for some steak!

As roadhouses go, this one wasn’t the greatest, but it was acceptable. I was there during a dead period, and the rolls were luke warm and way crunchier than they should be(i think they were last nights dinner rolls). We all know that we convince our friends and family to go to roadhouse so we can enjoy the rolls… so when they start off bad, it sets a bad tone for the experience. The food was acceptable and service was great… but I didn’t have that ‘oh my god i ate to much at roadhouse’ regret feeling that i’ve come to know and love.
