Saturday morning is educational, motivating, and full of laughter. Our kind, friendly leader, Melissa, is on a mission to get us to our lifetime goals. A few of us even meet and walk before the 7:30 meeting. I have been going for over a year and don’t miss it if I am in town. I am losing slowly, but hey, down is down,

Not helpful. Gained weight. I was frustrated with app and staff were no help. In fact she seemed annoyed at me that I couldn’t figure it out. Sold out of wrist activity counter. Didn’t offer to get more. Said, yeah, we are sold out, sorry. I could be working out on Saturday morning instead of listening to lifetime member drone on. Let new members speak, ask for help, share, lady at check in was lovely but honestly, just seemed like leader likes the sound of her own voice. The people who lost weight got to put their name tag on board, while I walked out with my name tag, ashamed and a pound heavier with nothing new to motivate me. App didn’t work easily, no wrist counter, no new tips except eat less, workout more. No duh! I’m a grown professional asking for help and all I got was a skinny ladies story about how successful she is, a bunch of unrealistic recipes and a $ 42 charge on my card. No thanks weight watchers. I felt more motivation watching biggest loser. Thanks for making me feel worse than when I came in. I’m guessing I will have to hassle you to stop charging my account. Please cancel me, stat.

In my first 10 weeks at Weight Watchers, I have lost 25 pounds. That in itself seems 5 star worthy. However, there’s more: This location also has a storefront. This means two things: 1– They have way more meeting times to offer 2– They sell weight watchers branded items– snacks, food scales, books and magazines, even workout DVDs. What I like about the items they sell is that they have them available, but never PUSH them on to you. But sometimes they give you samples of the snacks. I go to the Saturday 7:30 am meetings with Cheryl. She is compassionate, interested in you and your successes, and often shares best practices from other participants not in our meeting time. The weekly booklets are a steady reminder while I’m at home the rest of the week. Thank you Cheryl, Elizabeth, and co. I look forward to more success!
